You learn that the half-black dragon Rezmir came to the area a few months ago, and she set up the camp. Mondath handles everyday operations. Cyanwrath is Mondath’s right hand and is seldom far from her side. He has a rigid sense of honor, but you don’t want to make him angry (and since he knows you, you want to avoid him). Furthermore you learn that the monk is of special interest to Rezmir. Why else would she keep the creature alive that way? What Rezmir hopes to learn from him is anyone’s guess, but you wouldn’t want to be in that half-elf’s skin—or what’s left of it—when the questioning gets serious.
Zale eyes the leader but does not address him. She pushes Calvin towards where the other prisoners are being chained up. "Problem is. He ain't with the rest of 'em. Let's hope he don't be dead." After responding to Kriv, she whispers to Calvin, "If you are able to get away, you should try to get a look inside that nursery. There may be more in there than dragon eggs. If we can figure a way to either take 'em, or destroy 'em, that may be a good call. We don't want to have to deal with any more evil dragon's then we already are."
It's getting darker now. One of the Dragonclaws tells Zale and Kriv: You 2 chain them up! We'll bring this one to Mondath for judgement!
You watch as Calvin is taken with the Dragonclaws.
Kriv follows along with Zale and whispers. “I can make a distraction to give you guys a chance to escape. It’s a really bad idea, but I don’t know what else to do.”
The prisoners are suspicious of Zale. Thinking this might be some trick: to kill them while they are escaping or something. Good thing Kriv is there! The prisoner relax a bit, but they eye the one Cultist that's still around. It's not a Dragonclaw, it's seems to be a male Half-Elf. He's trying to shackle the prisoners to a post in a dirty, stinking hut and is looking to you for help. The shackles are secured by a single chain and lock that can be opened with a key carried by the Half-Elf.
Zeminny and Eric notice some commotion. Anyone who has not been assigned a task seems to move to the centre of the camp. You can just make out someone with purple robes in the centre of the meeting point.
Calvin, you are brought before a female Human with purple robes. You assume this is Frulam Mondath. She seems to be waiting for something, or someone it seems. The Half-Dragon Cyanwrath joins her side. Cyanwrath gives you a look and nods to Mondath. She grabs your face, you feel her nails piercing your skin. Who are you? Where did you come from? And what are you doing in my camp?!
When Zeminny and Eek have gathered a sufficient force we head back to find Zale
Ah, I missed this post. Well then, since you have to move past the commotion. Both of you have to make a stealth check with advantage (to make sure Cyanwrath doesn't notice you). Eek: nat 20 for 26 (rolled in game log).
Are you staying to see what's happening or are you moving past it?
As Calvin leaves with the Dragonclaws, he remembers Zale's words to get inside the nursery and to possibly destroy any dragon eggs. Although, he thinks, would it be morally right to kill a creature before it is even hatched? Sure, fighting an evil dragon is one thing, after all it will have made the choice to be evil. However, a life that is not yet even begun, must surely be an innocent life? Even if it is destined to be evil. But is that even a thing? Could a life be innately evil that it had no choice but to be evil? Or is evil just something that we are taught and decide to do? Calvin wasn't sure. He would have to make his mind up in the moment.
"I was captured," Calvin replies whilst wincing as Mondath's nails pierce his skin. "I got left behind and I was captured. Then I was brought here."

“The secret we should never let the gamemasters know is that they don't need any rules.” ― Gary Gygax
Mondath seems unconvinced, but you have a feeling that - with Cyanwrath here - it doesn't really matter. She release the grip on your face and says: Hmmpf! I sentence you to be executed on the morrow. Tie him to a post alongside that monk Leosin. And take his freaking Scimitar! Idiots!
Unless something else happens (say Zeminny gets caught) you are brought to the back of area 3. Leosin is also brought there and tied to a stake. He has been severely beaten, and it looks like he has been denied food and water in an effort to break his spirit.
“Save that for later,” Zale whispers back to Kriv, “We haven’t come close to accomplishing our goal.” She pauses to think for a moment, “Besides, with their numbers, you’ll be overwhelmed very quickly. Best be careful. Stealth be our best bet here.”
(Ooc: Do the prisoner’s seem to think we are here to help them? Or are they still convinced that we are working for the cultists?)

You've got the feeling that if you free them they would gladly accept their freedom, but not while the other (real) Cultist is still around.
(BTW is dark outside now and you're all in the smelly hut)
You do hear some of the commotion. You're intelligent enough to gather it's probably about Calvin and Mondath.
Zeminny I am sure would want to take a peek at the goings on. Wouldn’t want to miss the excitement
You lose track of Eek when you get closer, but you're both save and notice what happens. After that you see one of the Dragonclaws take the Scimitar from Calvin and drag him away. Seemingly out of nowhere you suddenly hear next to you: Eek thinks friend Zeminny and Eek should follow. Free friend.
Kriv walks over towards the cultist. As he does, he motions for Zale to follow. After assisting the cultist for a few seconds, Kriv thinks about Telurion’s falling at the hands of the cult and goes into a quiet rage. He takes his greataxe and hits the cultist over the head with it, attempting to knock them out.
Zale, guessing what Kriv was going to do, takes the handkerchief from her neck and draws her dagger. Right after Kriv hits him, Zale raps the handkerchief around the cultists face to muffle any screaming, then stabs him in the armpit, hoping to hit the major artery located there.

At this point Zale is questioning if her idea was a good one. Now it’s to late to change it. She hopes Calvin will be alright.
She does as she’s instructed, and tries to gather any information that she can from the prisoners and the cultists around her.
