Quietly, Sparhawk will speak to Zaal. "This place is VERY dangerous. Do not take it lightly. In addition to the dangers of the jungle here, the chamber we are trying to enter has undoubtedly deadly hazards and traps that we have not yet discovered." He places a confident hand on Zaal's shoulder, knowing that the elf will likely recoil from his touch. "I need you at your best for this place."
To the crew: "Stick together, and keep on eye on each other."
(OOC Reminder: Sparhawk has an Aura of protection: granting all within 10 feet of him +3 to all saves)
Zaal actually doesn't recoil, instead he just gives Sparhawk a tired look (which is mostly hidden by the thin blindfold). "I'm always at my best," he says before letting out a sigh and following Frangipani.
Frangipani sighs and puts on her mask fairly certain her body could fight off some stupid plant toxin if it needed to.....
" Come on."
She moved into the garden and towards the entry they had found before.
Perception-20
Stealth- 24
As you stealthily move towards the door you entered last time you notice the plants and trees of the garden are all in different places than before and the branches of the trees are filled will hundreds of different tropical bird’s squawking amongst themselves. Above the stairs from the river into the garden are strung 3 of the monkey-men. Their skins flayed from their bodies with only a few strips of fur left over their feet. The door is closed to the underground passage.

Zaal refuses the wax, opting instead to just wrap a thick cloth around his nose and mouth. He'd rather be able to breathe out his nose than risk inhaling anything through his mouth--less protection that way. In addition to the mask, he also has his blindfold pulled down, obscuring even more of his face.
"Let's get this over with," he breaths, slinking forward after Frangipani--keeping to the shadows as best he can.
Perception: 9
Stealth: 24
The mask arrangement impairs Zaals ability to perceive, but his stealth is on par with Frangipani’s and makes it easily to the doorway without disturbing any flora or fauna of the garden.
Eberk is dismayed at Lir’s transformation and rendered speechless for a minute. With his friends seemingly accepting the transformation, he decides to keep his mouth shut for the time being. Seeing the door closed, he asks a rhetorical question. “We didn’t close up when we left, right?”
Lir easily maintains his silence and moves to Frangipani and Zaal quickly, but when Bjorn and Eberk enter the grassy space, the trees erupt in a cacophony of bird sqawks, with 20 or so taking flights. A cascade of leaves and small branches rain down as they go. bjorn and eberk make a dc 12 wisdom save with advantage for the nose plugs as the air becomes filled with a fine misty pollen

Trusting in the gift of his god, Lir wraps his cloak around himself and transforms into the demonic form he's increasingly addicted to.
He lines up with the party and gives them a porcine snort.
Seeing Lir change into a demonic form, Sparhawk inquires, "Lir, is this some new power your god has granted you?"
Sparhawk has learned to never be surprised by the odd man, but this seems a bit over the top.
The paladin mumbles to himself in Orcish after hearing Zaal's comment as he reflects on his own humility
(OOC: Feel free to read out of character if your PC doesn’t speak orcish)
"The line between confidence and arrogance is very fine, and the line between arrogance and stupidity even finer." (OOC: Michael Scott)
"Ew, how dretched. I mean wretched." Bjorn scrutinizes the weird little creature Lir has become, with a slight smirk. "Try to keep up, short stuff."
Dretch-Lir's voice sounds in Sparhawk's mind -

Everyone who hasnt rolled a stealth roll one, unless you intend to just rush there in the open.
you all see the swinging corpses of monkey-men over the river steps.

Upon seeing the flayed corpses on display, Bjorn halts. "No, no, no, somebody clearly doesn't want visitors. This is dark," he whispers.
His axe quietly slithers along the ground by his side.
(Oh no!)
