“ The Queen Zalkore ruled many centuries ago. It was said her beauty was unmatched, on this plane or any other. Her lover, the commander of the Armies named Thiru-taya, loved her so much he had a wonderous garden built for her. Statues and carvings to try and capture the different aspects of her beautiful visiage and all of her most favored plants, flowers and creatures. The garden was called “ Ka-Nanji” or the hanging garden of dreams. Ka-Nanji was a palatial retreat from the intrigues and pressures of Omu, and the beautiful, tiered garden was praised as a worthy tribute to the queen. But, as people are won’t to do, the constant flattery seeped into her soul, like a poison of sorts. As she realized time would eventually destroy her beauty, as it does all things, she went on a secret quest you meet with a being that could possibly preserve her beauty for all time.” He sits back down and drains his cup once again.
Eberk takes a seat near Bjorn and ritually casts Detect Magic. He will keep it up, checking out the fresco primarily and the levers/door if there is enough of the ten minutes to cover both. “Did we discover any writing when we were here before? That may be helpful.”
Perception: 7 (26 if someone wants to help for advantage.)
Bjorn can Comprehend Languages as a ritual now, so he'll take a look at the mural again, since it sounds like maybe he had to stop before he was done last time on account of the spell running out.
In particular I'm thinking the queen and her lover are probably depicted on either the left and right sides, or right and left sides, respectively, and perhaps each one is associated with a number somehow... But that's just a hunch.

Upon casting detect magic, one of the trees in the center mural in the hallway lights up. Also, the 1st intersection from the rubble to the door of the storage room glows as well creating a 5’ w x 40’ l strip across the hall

One segment of the poem “ …After 7 rotations stubbornness was crushed and love allowed to bloom….the General achieved what no sorcery could coerce….”
"Hmm...." Bjorn rubs his chin, considering possibilities. "Seven rotations... Days? Seasons? We ain't got that kind of time, though..."
[Having some trouble understanding this 5x40 strip of magical stone and its position relative to the mural. Would it be accurate to say the magic forms a square around the mural, so that there's magic above the mural, below the mural, and on the left and right sides of the mural?]

"I think somethin' changes when we press these levers, an' we're trying to control that change," Bjorn declares. "My guess is it'll move the position of the sun on this mural. I suggest everyone stand away from the area Eberk found, in case it's the source of a punishment spell, and let's just press one and see what happens." He cracks his knuckles, ready to get down to business.
Zaal gives a slight nod at the mention of 'days' in regards to the seven rotations. However, he stays relatively quiet, taking the opportunity to see how this team goes about their job.
At the same time Sparhawk also uses investigation to try to discover an order of the levers (reroll with advantage investigation)

( you can do this when you approach the door itself)

Sparhawk looks at Bjorn as he reads the fresco.
"Come now Bjorn, I brought you on this trek because you are the most clever man I know." He badgers the man. "What do you see that we can't."
(OOC: 3 claws on the left and 3 to the right of the door can be pressed downwards....must be one more lever (Maybe the head or mouth of the beast?)

( the yellow is the magic aura. The one on the mural surrounds one of the painted trees within the mural)
[Ah! Thanks.]

Eberk heads back to the others. “So, which lever to try? And more importantly, what kind of death trap will we spring upon ourselves?”
"Makes no difference, I say. Whichever change it creates should be reversible by some manipulation of the other levers."

Have you crossed the yellow line to get to the door?
Doesn’t sound ominous at all. Yes.
