Kyrsa looks a little confused as everyone rushes to throw a rope up to the window, she is used to more explicit communication. She shrugs, "I suppose I'd better get used to how this new team works." Then says, "I will climb then, no use in me wasting my ability when I am perfectly capable of climbing a rope." She also looks at Tamryn, "How can we race if there is only one rope?" Without waiting for a response, Kyrsa follows Mina over to the wall and prepares to climb up after her.

(OOC: Lol! We are rolling so poorly)
Tamryn climbs the tree nearest the window, settling down until the guard passes, attempting to be quiet. Once the others are up and the guard passes, he motions for someone to throw him the rope.

Galinndan is quite out of his element with everyone hurrying to do whatever. He decides to lay down where he is (naturally, away from the guards path), and casts a minor illusion of normal looking terrain over himself so he can hide and observe.
So again, an illusion can't make you invisible. It would have to be an illusion of a pile of leaves or dirt or a big log or something. "Normal looking terrain" would be flat ground in my mind. Also, if your character is more than 5' tall, he'll have to curl up in a ball to be completely within the illusion.
Ok, so here is my current understanding of the situation, correct me if I am mistaken:
Galinndan is laying on the ground, disguised as a stump or something
Tamryn is hiding in a tree
Jhaartael is creating an illusion of a wall that sticks out from the actual wall by about 2 feet, concealing anyone behind it. I am not sure how Jhaartael is concealing himself.
Mina, Kyrsa and Akyan all climb up the rope. Kyrsa bangs her head on the window and lets out a muffled curse. One of Akyan's boots falls off and hits the ground with a "thump" as he shimmies up the rope.
-----------------------------
The guard rounds the corner and hears the thump and possibly the curse.
Perception 16
He looks toward the wall and doesn't immediately see through the illusion, but next he look up into the tree and does see Tamryn. He lets out a loud whistle.
I was thinking new ground going over me, so a guard might realize the ground used to be lower there previously. But I don't think it's too easy to notice a bit of field is a bit higher than it used to be. And yes, the character is below 5 feet. (4'11" to be precise)
Mina looks around the room she is in, trying to stay as quiet as possible.
Initiative 21
Those who have ascended the rope and traversed the window find themselves in a 15' x 15' room containing a bed and a trunk, the window you entered is in the south wall, another is in the west wall, and a closed door in the north wall. The room is otherwise empty.
Akyan curses as his boot falls to the ground. Clenching his jaw, he hauls himself through the window. Hearing the guard whistle, he spins around and glances out the window. Seeing that the guard only seemed to notice Tamryn, he holds a hand out signaling Mina and Kyrsa to stay put. Whispering he says, "Don't help him unless he really needs it. They don't know we are in here yet. Kyrsa, you should stay at the window, let me know if things start getting out of hand." He taps his temple with a finger. "Mina and I can continue searching the house. I'll let you and Jhaarteal know if we find it." As he removes his other boot, he thinks to himself, "Only one of us has to make it out, as long as that person has the box, we will complete the mission." After he removes his boot, he sets it by the window, "Feel free to use that as a distraction." Then he walks over to the chest. Pulling out his thieves' tools he crouches down to open it. "Hopefully I can open this lock. Though I doubt the box is in here..."
Crouching at the window, Kyrsa nods to Akyan and rubs her head. "Hopefully Tamryn and Jhaarteal can handle themselves down there," she whispers back. "I'll wait a while, but I don't think this is the best place for me, who knows how long Jhaarteal's spell will fool the guards? Better to pull up the rope and get on with the mission. Hopefully the guards won't realize we got in, and focus on Tamryn instead. This is a good distraction."
(OOC: What are the guards armed with? And how big is the demiplane? What is surrounding the house? Is there cover nearby other than these four trees?)
The guard has a crossbow on his back, which he seems to be reaching for, and some sort of blade at his side. The demiplane extends for a good 100-150 feet on each side of the building, with occasional scattered trees similar to the ones you have already seen. No other buildings, pretty even ground with grassy cover, maybe an occasional bush.

While Akyan and Kyra are busy, Mina heads to the door and presses her ear against it, listening for any signs of guards. When Kyra mentions bringing the rope in, Mina nods at her, "Just make sure the guard doesn't notice!"

Everyone should roll initiative in case they decide to do something silly like rescue you. Or in case they get spotted.
