(OOC: I’ve been waiting for Jhaaratael to post since he is before me. But I guess I can just say what I’m going to do now.)
Kyrsa grits her teeth as everything seems to go wrong around her. She has alswasy been used to having a plan A and plan B for these kinds of situations, so this concept of just winging it makes her nervous.
If Jhaaratael drops the spell on the wall, Kyrsa will run over and try to help Tamryn up so he is not still hanging there when the second guard comes around.
If the spell is still intact, she will move instead to join Mina.
(OOC: I’m going to roll in a separate post because for some reason rolling on noble forces the roll into the left top corner.)
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
(OOC: I just noticed that the rolls on my last post look like they've changed...I don't know why, I haven't edited it. I don't remember what the stealth check was originally, but the strength check was a 9. All I know was that the stealth check was a lot lower than 18...it might have been a 6... I'm okay will taking the original rolls, or the ones there if no one cares. Or I can re-roll. I just want to be honest, and address the fact that the numbers changed somehow.)
Jhaartael responds to Akyan's message, "Going to keep the illusion up to cover Tamryn, can you let me know when he makes it into the window? In the meantime, I guess I will make friends with the guards."
Knowing the other guard will be coming soon, Jhaartael tries to position himself so that the guard is more likely to see him first, but remains within 5' feet of the guard in his gaze, never leaving the stunned guard's sight.
He uses his action to continue the hypnotic gaze effect on this guard and tries to look like he is just having a nice chat with this guard... nothing confrontational at all.
Mina exits the room, gets her bearings, sees no one, and sneezes.
Jhaartael declines to drop the illusion, and maintains his hypnotic gaze on the befuddled guard, trying to appear totally natural and inconspicuous like he just dropped by for a chat in this random demiplane.
Kyrsa, seeing that for the moment Tamryn seems to be concealed, turns away from the window and joins Mina in the hallway, so enthusiastically in fact that she accidentally bumps into the ranger, causing the latter to lose her balance and drop her dagger to the floor with a clatter. The two elves look at each other with wide eyes, and try not to laugh at the absurdity of it all.
Tamryn makes a monumentally futile attempt to raise himself up and into the window, flailing about wildly, but alas, in the end he remains as he began, dangling at the bottom of the food chain.
Akyan brushes by Mina, scoffing a bit at her lack of stealthiness. He tries the door on the southern side of the hall, and finding it unlocked, tugs it open... a little too firmly, as it escapes his grasp, and swings all the way open, crashing into the wall behind it. Mortified, he quickly enters the room and shuts the door behind him. This appears to be a storage room of some kind, dark with no windows, stacked with barrels and crates.
After this decidedly non-stealthy group performance, you think you hear some snickering coming from around the corner at the end of the hall....
Meanwhile, outside, a second guard rounds the corner, coming up short as he sees his fellow guard listening in rapt attention to whatever Jhaartael is whispering in his ear. (This guard will share his fellow guard's Initiative roll next round).
Also, a new arrival steps through the portal around this time. (Lyndaran may describe himself here, and roll for initiative).

Stepping out the branches of the tree appears an elf. Due to the actual position and worries of the party they cannot see all his attire but he wears a back cloak with the hood donned so his features remain hidden but a glimpse of his green eyes can be seen as he asses the situation in front of him. In his hand there is already a longbow but he has no arrow notched yet.
It seems clear that the group has been discovered and he could fix that situation. With calm and practiced skill he readies and arrow, aim at the guard that had just appeared and fires at him, hoping to take him out before he can raise the alarm.
((Posting ahead as work calls and I don't want to hold things up))
Jhaartael looks in disbelief as a dark clad elf steps onto the demiplane and immediately fires an arrow at the new guard.
He lets out a groaning sigh.
((If the new guard is within 30 feet of him he will cast a Charm Person at second level trying to get both guards, if the second guard is out of range, he will cast it at first level on just the guard he has stunned))
and telepathically to Akyan "There seems to be a new player on the board down here. Elf in black. Shoots first, asks questions later. Not sure who's side he is on."

Lyndaran does, in fact, "ass" the situation in spectacular fashion, firing an arrow that ricochets off the stone wall of the building, the Southeast tree trunk, and back at him, forcing him to jump out of the way to avoid injury. He truly belongs on this team.
Knowing that the stealth option is lost after hearing the giggling from around the corner, Mina gets out her net and slowly creeps down the hall. Once she gets to the corner, she comes out from behind the wall and throws the net at whatever guard she sees.
Ready action - throw net at guard once in sight, which if caught will restrain them
Mina picks up her dagger and rushes around the corner to N9, where she sees a long north-south hallway, with a doorway on the west, a window on the east, and two guards doubled over with laughter facing her. Irked, she casts a net at them, which sails over their heads, causing their condition to worsen.

As soon as Akyan closes the door, he leans on it and lets out a quiet groan. Rubbing his temples he thinks, "We are supposed to be a team. I've tried to work with them, but none of them seem to have a clue as to what stealth means." He sighs, remembering chest and both doors, "I not doing much better though. I need to get my head back in the game." He shakes his head, "That's all it is though isn't it. It's just a test. I need to treat this like one of my jobs. One that if i don't complete, I'll go hungry and end up sleeping in a stable again." He straitens, taking in his surroundings. He doubts that the box will be in the store room, but he has learned to never leave any leaf upturned. Things can be hidden in the most unlikely places. He also figures, he might as well let the others deal with the guards, before he leaves the room.
In response to Jhaartael he says, "I'll try, I'm not exactly near him anymore. I'll see if Kyrsa knows."
In response to Jhaartael's news about a newcomer, "I guess we'll find out. It's a bit odd for the Circle to throw someone in here in the middle of a mission. I'll let Kyrsa know this as well."
As he searches the room, he tells Kyrsa, "Jhaartael is leaving the illusion intact. Let me know if Tamryn makes it in here so I can tell him when he can drop the spell. Also, there is a new player in the game. A black-clad elf. Not sure if he is friend or foe."

Kyrsa quickly apologizes to Mina, whispering, "This is not going well is it." She picks up the fallen dagger and hands it back to her companion, saying, "I kind of feel bad about leaving Tamryn hanging like that, even though he is still covered." She sighs, normally, it would be the mission first, but as Mina moves to investigate the giggling, she glances back in the direction they had come from. Well, this mission has already become a complete disaster. Might as well go back and get Tamryn up here to help if we end up having to confront the guards.
Then she turns around and goes back to the window where she will do her best to help Tamryn get through. Once there, she takes note of the newcomer outside.
(OOC: hopefully I roll as well as I did for the one I didn't use...lol)
(OOC: Akyan, I just saw your post since it wasn't loaded when I was writing my last one...)
Kyrsa responds to Akyan: Alright, I am going back for Tamryn. Might as well have us all up here for this. So much for a stealth mission... I see the newcomer. I think he is on our side. He fired an arrow, but I couldn't really tell where it was meant to go. Mina went to see what is around the corner. Stand by, I will let you know if I get Tamryn in here.
Lyndaran stands still looking at the arrow now stuck on the tree were he was a few moments ago.
"By all the Gods, if I ever try to repeat that shoot I wouldn't be able to do it... how that was possible?" he looks again to the wall asking himself if the laws of the universe are different in this pocket dimension.
((If the new guard is within 30 feet of him he will cast a Charm Person at second level trying to get both guards, if the second guard is out of range, he will cast it at first level on just the guard he has stunned))
(only the hypnotized guard is currently within range) WIS Save 1
The newly-arrived guard seems startled by the errant arrow ricocheting around, but quickly recovers, and fires his own heavy crossbow in retaliation at Lyndaran, while calling out to his fellow guard, "Larry! What are you doing? These are the guys!"
