Praxius wanders through the crowded city streets in pretty much silence, uncomfortable with the urban setting and all the people bustling around him. As they pass from Ordon's Horn into Time's Respite, and the crowds thin a little, he relaxes a little bit. He remains vigilant though, it was a hard habit to break, being wary. If it wasn't for the sword strapped to his back, and it's ability to sense danger before he does, he would have perished long ago. But that doesn't mean he had become complacent.
As Dagoro says his goodbyes, Praxius finds himself becoming unexpectedly morose. It had been so long since he had travelled with companions, and the big Goron had been a settling influence. Especially amongst the throngs of people. I am turning soft already, he thinks to himself.
As they arrive at the Willful Wander, and he gazes upon the grand entrance, he turns to Theo. "Exactly how pricey are we talking?", he asks.
"And will they accept the likes of me?", he adds, his cloak growing much longer to cover his wild clothing, and a deep hood appearing to hide his impromptu ox skull hat. There was no hiding the assortment of weaponry on his person though.
“I’ve actually never been to this in , it’s pretty new I’ve been told,” Theo says. “I’ve heard it’s the largest in the whole city. If there’s anywhere that might have rooms available, it’ll be this place. And don’t worry,” Theo mentions to Praxius. “I’m sure this place has experienced all sorts of people, so I’m sure you won’t stand out.”
Walking through the streets, Theo begins to relax after a while. The road has taken a kind of toll on him, and it is nice to finally be back in a city. Theo looks around, making a general perception check.
At the sight of the Inn, Paca begins to grin with excitement. "This is it yes? Quite a sight to be seen. I am eager to get in and check the place out if the rest of you are. Or did we want to find the Lady knight first for our reward... whatever that may be."
Paca then leans over to Lizi and whispers "This is quite the place, don't you think? I bet we will find great music to listen to all around!"
Theo, the immediate area looks well maintained and extravagent. With the dimming light the exterior is a bit shadowed but otherwise extremely well lit around the entirety of the building. You do see what appears to be another Goron no where near the size of Dagoro and a Gerudo standing outside the entrance to the Willfull Wander, casually talking amongst themselves. Other than that the streets appear to be clearing, with most heading home to either their home an Inn or a bar to spend their night celebrating the start of the Festival.
Walking upto the entrance you four are immediately stopped by A Gerudo, the large woman extends her arm out as you approach. Clearly a Gerudo not only by her size but the Bronze skin and Pointed nose are features all Gerudo share and are recognized by. Her head is completely shaven bald with large silver hooped earrings dangling from her earlobes. Her garb is more fit for warmer climates than that of Hyrule, Billowing and colourful. The Goron is nearly the same height as Paca and a far cry from the intimidating stature of Dagoro. He does not move but keeps a close watch on the four of you as the Gerudo address' you.
"Stop, Im afraid if you wish to enter you must surrender your weapons" The Gerudo gestures to the dozen or so sacks beside the Goron, each numbered and stuffed with various weaponry. Shortswords, pikes, hammers even a crossbow. The Goron grabs a small leather bound book and quill, flipping open to a page in the middle of it. "And I will need your names so that I may keep track of them" He adds in a rather snotty tone.

Rae takes in the sight of the festival, an expression of awe and eagerness worn clearly on her face. When asked for her weapons, the yellow zora obliges: handing over her shortsword, darts, and club. Answering the Goron, unphased by his snotty tone, she gives her name, "The name's Rae."
Praxius looks at the Gerudo and Goron with heavy suspicion, he is not at all happy with the concept of handing over his weapons. He looks around the inn to the surrounding area thinking of what options might be available instead of going to the inn. He is very hungry and the thought of hot food is very tempting.
As he scans around, he feels a brief sharp sensation behind his eyes, as his magic awareness kicks in unbidden.
He carries on looking around, checking out his party members, the Goron and Gerudo and the bags that the Goron is looking after. His vision now able to see magic items and spells in the 60 feet around him (see spoiler).
"I have not parted with my weapons for some time", he says simply with a scowl, as he surveys everything.
Magic Awareness
3rd-level Path of Wild Magic feature
As an action, you can open your awareness to the presence of concentrated magic. Until the end of your next turn, you know the location of any spell or magic item within 60 feet of you that isn’t behind total cover. When you sense a spell, you learn which school of magic it belongs to.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
Likewise, Theo is not happy with the tomhought of parting with his guns. With a sigh, Theo slings Bad News off of his back, takes Pepper out of its pouch and spins it on his finger a bit, and hands over 2 handaxes. “Take care of my guns,” he says with a slight upset tone. “They’re one of a kind, and I’d be very disappointed if something would happen to them. My name is Theo.”
As three of you hand over your Weapons to the Gerudo, you watch as the Gerudo places them in seperates sacks that are then numbered and put to one side. The Goron Writes your name with the corresponding numbered sack within his book along with how many items are within the sack. "You three may pass" The Gerudo steps in front of Praxius, her well built arms folded as she waits for him to hand over his weapons or simply move on.
Praxius:
As a strange greenish arcane aura glows from your iris' You immediately witness a trail of magical energy seeping from two weapons. One is propped up next to the Goron, a two handed great hammer. Leather wrapped wooden handle with a block of steel weighing it down, the steel has been manipulated to look like a Gorons closed fist. The other is actually affixed to the Gerudo's belt, a pair of iron knuckle dusters that look blood stained and well used.

“Name’s Praxius”, Praxius says simply, matching the gaze of the Gerudo.
He reluctantly draws his greatsword and places it on the ground, followed by a short bow and a quiver of arrows. Next he draws a short sword and places it down. Lastly come four javelins.
”I will be expecting these back”, he says gruffly, staring the Gerudo down and trying to get a read on how honest they are.
The Gerudo chuckles openly at your attempt to intimidate her Praxius, she does not seem like the type of person to sway easily and while your efforts may have frightened a smaller individual. The Gerudo who is a couple inches taller than you simply takes your weapons and places them in a sack. The Goron on the other hand appears to be slightly put off by Praxius, the smaller figure now has a visible shake to their hand when writing within their Leather bound book. "P-praxius......T-they are all set Ver'is." The Gerudo nods and places all four sacks behind the Goron. Opening the large double doors for you to enter. "Welcome to the WillFull Wander" Is the last thing she says as you enter into the building.
Stepping into the grand hall of the willful wander the first thing you notice is the aroma in the air, while there are faint traces of bodily secretions there is an overpowering and soothing smell of cedar ash with just a hint of lavender. It is a pleasant aroma and one that only becomes stronger with every step into the building. The floor is covered in a very finely made crimson carpet that covers the entirety of the wooden floorboards underneath, Along the wood plank walls you can see various tapestries of violet and gold trim, Paintings depicting mostly Hylians in various poses. One has a Hylian Pureblood Woman, Nude with her back to the viewer, overlooking the Bridge of Hylia. It's a bit tacky but entirely fitting for the setting.
This grandhall is just the entrance as you see a cascading staircase leading up to what you assume would be the rooms for rent, on the left side of the staircase you can see in the back corner there is a bar where you can get something to drink. A few of the customers are sat at a large round table enjoying a drink and conversation, While another one appears to be courting one of the many courtesans within the walls as this place also functions as a rather upscale Brothel. Of course it is not advertised as one.
To the right of the staircase you can see a Hylian woman, Young with long blonde hair flowing down over her shoulders, sitting on a simple stool behind a ocer large desk. She is writing within what appears to be a ledger of sorts, keeping track of the guests and their various purchases made within the Wander. A pair of round spectacles at the tip of her freckled nose, she does not seem to notice your entry into the building.
Walking in, Paca's eyes wander for a moment and then immediately lock onto the picture of the naked Hylian woman and the turns away and blushes. Asking the other three, "Is that sort of thing normal around here? I've never seen such a thing before!"
A sly grin appearing on Theo’s face when he sees the picture, he turns to Paca. “Well, I did not expect that to be here. It’s not very usual of inns around here.” In his mind, though, he thinks Of course it doubles as a brothel, why not? More profit as long as you don’t advertise it.
Walking up to the young woman behind the desk, Theo says, “Excuse me, but how much do the rooms here cost? My friends and I are looking for a place to stay, and everywhere else seems to be full already.” He flashes a quick grin at the Hylian.
Rae chuckles at Paca's reaction to the picture, "Haha, well the Hylian has a fine body. It'd be a shame not to display it. I've always wondered why all the other races are so hesitant to show skin, tis only our natural selves." The yellow zora says this casually, her comment makes it all more apparent that Rae, herself, is only wearing a tank top and an ornamental belt.
Praxius wanders in with the others. As talk turns to the picture, he glances at it briefly but shows not reaction, and turns his attention to the bar area, sizing up the clientele. He is a little more jittery right now, without the comfort of his sword to keep him apprised of any imminent danger.
He wanders over to the bar whilst Theo is negotiating with the lady at the desk. He looks to get the attention of the barkeep, but stands leaning against the bar side on, so he has view of the room and hasn't turned his back to anyone.
"Jug of ale, four mugs", he says to whoever is serving, tapping his fingers on the bar rhythmically. After a moment he remembers his manners, "If you would please".
The young woman is startled as you speak Theo, she fumbles and drops her quill to the floor. Turning her attention towards you and your companions. "Uhhh Yes!" She picks up her quill and thumbs threw the pages of the ledger, arriving at a page which details the rooms but noticably does not use full names. Instead you notice that there are initials by the room they are currently renting, a step to ensure the privacy of their customers.
"We currently have three rooms availible, she looks between the four of you. It's a purple rupee(5 gold) for the room. You get it for one day and one night, Meals are included for an extra red rupee(2 gold)" As she describes the prices of the room.
Paca, Lizi seems a little odd. While it is in the nature of a fairy to be curious you find her slowly drifting away from you, toward the staircase. It's as if something is pulling her attention from you, which had only ever occured when you were within the Lost woods; Surrounded by other Kokiri and Fairies. You follow her and look in the direction she gestures to and see at the the top of the staircase, another Fairy. With white hair framing a silvery-tan complexion, Looks similar to a smaller Kokiri except for the wings protruding from their back which are similar to Lizi' but far larger. This individual seems drawn to Lizi as Lizi is drawn to them. Quiggley, Please Introduce yourself.
Meanwhile, At the Bar.
Praxius, you catch the attention of the Barkeep. A 30 something Hylian Male who look's rather prim. Sharp features with long blonde hair tied back into a tail at the nape of his neck, a single scar starts at his brow and ends just before reaching his mustached upper lip. Slim and thin, this individual is clearly not a fighter. He produces a jug of ale and four mugs from behind the bar, The mugs are made of metal and clink as he sets them on the bar in front of you. The jug sloshes with brownish liquid, which has a faint aroma of honey to it. "That'd be 2 Greens (2 silver)" He remarks, his palm opened in front of you.
The one foot silvery white with grey silver in what would be the more exposed areas porcelain doll sized boy, standing 1 foot tall and about 4 inches wide with a 3 foot wing span flitters on its four silver wings in place slowly descends the stairs.
He has a hylean style shirt and pants, the shirt off white with silver embroidery and black pants. There is a clear crystal gem hanging from a silver chain around his neck leaving the stone hanging at his chest. The gem glows with a soft silver light. A 1 foot walking staff (stick) hangs on his back between his wings.
As he flutters up to the blue fairy he will introduce himself, "Hello, I am Quiggley, I do not wish to be rude but would you by chance know me? I seem to have forgotten many that I once knew." His voice is a rich tenor adding to the effect of making it sound much deeper than what his body should produce. It is all the more surprising for anyone only accustomed to female fairy voices. He also speaks in a much more languid pace than female fairies, easily enunciation each word with a hint of a rest between each.
Praxius fishes in the pouch at his belt and withdraws the two green gems, placing them in the palm of the bar keep. He takes the jug in one hand and grasps the four mugs together in his other hand, accompanied by more clanking.
Turning around he scans the common room, looking for a table out the way where he won't have to have his back to anyone. Finding a good spot by the wall, he places the jug and mugs down and fills one of the mugs. He picks up the full mug and takes a long draught of the honey ale, then wanders back over to the bottom of the stair case where he can see the others and also keep an eye on their drinks.
"Drinks up", he calls over to Theo, Paca and Rae before taking another gulp and wiping his mouth with the back of his hand.
It is then that he sees the other's concentration taken by something going on by the stairs, involving another fairy.
“A purple rupee?” Theo exclaims, though quietly as if it were a secret between the two of them. “Look ma’am, I know it’s not my business to say anything about this business, but isn’t that a bit too high? I mean if I wanted to, I could probably get a farmer to sell me his cot for a blue rupee. Not that I would, of course.” Theo gives a small chuckle.
“I can see that you’ve had a tiring day, ma’am. How about we make this easier? Let’s say…a red and 2 blue rupees (3 gold) for each of the 3 rooms, with a purple rupee (5 gold) for our meals. That seems like a fair deal.”
Paca follows Lizi to the stairs and is shocked to find a fairy here. "Lizi, do you know him?" Paca looks worried as his thoughts process what Quiggley has said. "You say you don't know who you are? Where is your kokiri companion? This is all so much to process...are you here...alone?" Paca's look of worriment gets more intense.
