The map below represents the extent of what Elk Running and Sabetha have described. You can't discern the prints on the other sled tracks. Nor do you know if those are the only creatures at the sled and what those creatures are.
"Lets use the trees as cover to get a better look" whispers Aubin to his companions. He makes his way to the nearest tree. He moves as stealthy as he can between the trees until he can get a better look at the sled thieves.
The companions slowly make their way into the leafless, barren trees, creeping up on the sled and its new claimants. As you draw closer, you can hear the creatures at the sled seemingly arguing with each other. They are yelling, occasionally hitting each other, and pushing at the sled, making it slowly scoot forward in the deep snow. You don't understand the language they speak, although it reminds you of something you've recently heard.
You hide among the trees (they are given half-cover) and then, suddenly, Elk Running stubs her toe on an upraised root. She is so surprised by this (she is normally quite aware of her surroundings) that she has a full-body reaction, standing up, hopping a little, before she can think about it. That said, she doesn't make a sound, her mouth open in a silent yelp of pain, until she bangs the back of her head on a low-hanging branch. Bent over, she cannot help herself; the normally elegant, graceful, and serene eladrin shouts, "Gorm's great balls! That hurt!"
Eyes wide, she immediately hunches down behind the tree she is sharing with Aubin, who briefly turns to glare at her. The creatures have all gone quiet and seem to be staring in your direction.

Aubin: 13
Elk Running: 11
Blackberry: 8
It remains difficult to tell what the creatures are in the dim light of the aurora, but you can just make out five of them forming a line in front of the sled. In the chill silence after Elk Running's gaffe, you can hear bowstrings being released, followed by the clear call of a ram's horn. After firing, they appear to run behind the sled, using it for cover. Then they seem to disappear.
Elk Running has two arrows incoming: Attack: 6 Damage: 8 Attack: 18 Damage: 3
Aubin has one arrow incoming: Attack: 8 Damage: 3
Sabetha has one arrow incoming: Attack: 23 Damage: 8
Blackberry has one arrow incoming: Attack: 21 Damage: 5
The creatures' attempt to Hide is a complete failure. Huddling behind the sled, they immediately begin yelling at each other and shoving, each trying to be the one with the most cover. They are nearly at war with themselves. Hearing them yelling again, you recognize the language. It was the same language Squeaky was using in the Northlook. They must be Goblins.
Each of you please make a Perception check, in addition to whatever action you plan to take. Consider it a free action for this turn.

Sabetha darts forward 30' one tree further to the west and takes cover there. So much for sneaking up on them.
She sighs and shoots an arrow from her longbow at one of the goblins (if any were pushed out from behind cover by the chaos, she will target that one.)
Thanks to the cover provided by the trees, his leporine reflexes and his shield, the harengon manages to barely avoid the incoming projectile.
Hearing Aubin's bellow, Blackberry instinctively raises his forepaws in surrender, before realizing he was not among the intended targets. In an attempt to cover his mistake, he directs his mini-flamethrower at the most exposed goblin, and a fist-sized glob of elemental firestreaks towards the creature. (fire bolt).

Sabetha, agreeing with Aubin, attempts to use the southern trees as cover.
Heading south first, then advancing tree by tree towards the creatures near the sled and trying not to be noticed.
