Meleager leaves the goblin to the cleric, waiting for Stonegrid to track something, catching his breath, the adrenaline is still in circle and it is clear that he would like to keep on fighting
Stonegrin returns to the group after probably what seems like forever, "I think we've walked into the hangman's noose here, lots of tracks millin about. But I did find a trail headin northwest" as he gives the direction he points for those not familiar with their cardinal directions.
ooc: @what's the weather like? @all: if it is dry I'd say let's follow the path later, the tracks will still be there.
let's not divide, let's interrogate the goblin first, he mentioned a name...we can get some info...and probably the other goblin won't know anymore than this one
The weather is fair... for now. You have about half a day's march before you reach Phandalin to make your delivery. It would be fairly simple to find your way back to this location. Partially because it is the main thorough fare between Neverwinter and Phandalin, also because One of these trees prominently displays the death shadow of a now deceased goblin.
Meleager informs the others about what he found about the trail
it looks like they have taken the two riders prisoners, what are we to do? If it is was just up to me , I d go and free them, there is a dozen goblin trail, minus three makes 9...
then he goes to the goblin, slapping him on the face
well well, it looks like we were more than you and your friends could chew. Now, if you wanna live, you must immediately tell some things: did your friends haul away? And where to? Who is in charge, you mentioned a name...
and then, after looking him straight in the eyes
your choice: when we are back you could be set free otherwise you would regret it having died in the flames like your friend
indicating the burned trunk of the tree
intimidation, if needed 13
if for any case i have advantage [roll]1d20ad+2[/roll]
"I tell you what you want to know, just please don't kill me! I don't like robbing folks! Just taking orders from Klarg. He not even a goblin like the rest of the Cragmaw. He making us do it. King Grol tell Klarg to find Gundren Dwarf man for reward from Black Spider. We already got dwarf man, and sent him to Cragmaw Castle. Human man at hideout in eating cave."
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
History Check: 17 to see if he knows anything about Cragmaw Castle
Grolsh shakes his head at Meleager's question. "I don't recognize any of these names he speaks. Black Spider? King Grol and Klarg? I assume Klarg is this creatures boss. King Grol might be the goblin king?"Grolsh shrugs.
Grolsh's eyes begin to glow a blood red color (caststhaumaturgy) as he leans close to the goblin "IF Klarg is not one of your kind then what is he? And where is this hideout of yours? Could you draw us a map of the inside and tell us what is inside the place? How long ago did you send the dwarf to this castle you speak of?"
He looks around at the party. "I assume the man was Gundren's bodyguard. I forget his name but it's not important. Do we rescue him or go for Gundren?"
"I behave, I behave! Klarg a Big Hairy. He strong and mean and bossy. King Grol is King of all Cragmaw" At this he grins widely showing his broken and filed teeth. You get the idea that this is where the Tribe gets its name.
"Don't know Black Spider, never saw Black Spider. Black Spider send Klarg to hideout to make Cragmaw to find Gundren Dwarf. Hideout that way," he points in the direction of the trail. "Don't draw so good, Don't kill me, I sorry!" he puts his hands up in front of his face, clearly afraid. "Hideout is cave. It has river, and falling water, and Klarg, and Yeemik and Cragmaw"
"No, no. You fleshy Human man, like prisoner. Klarg more big, more hairy, more scary." Worried he may have offended his captors he whimpers, but quickly continues "Yeemik Fat Boss Cragmaw."

Mitsu blows on his cold hands.
And that's all I have to say about that.
Zuix Will pull the cart over into a clearing and look around for the other goblin.

You may choose one ally to offer the help action to give them advantage, or do something completely different.

Zuix, and Meleager notice more about the trail...
about a dozen goblins have come and gone along the trail, as well as signs of two human-sized bodies being hauled away from the ambush site.
Meleager informs the others about what he found about the trail

Mitsu frowns, nodding in agreement when Meleager says they should go to the rescue.
And that's all I have to say about that.
The goblin begins to cry and wet himself.
"I tell you what you want to know, just please don't kill me! I don't like robbing folks! Just taking orders from Klarg. He not even a goblin like the rest of the Cragmaw. He making us do it. Meleager
Meleager listens carefully (history 6)
and then turns to the others
Did you hear? Does anybody know these names?
And then, taking a long breath , back to the goblin
You are not gonna die...if you behave. You said Cragmaw, is this your goblin tribe.isn't it?
...little by little he asks for every of the name mentioned by the goblin (unles for some strange case hemknows them already)

Mitsu was going to follow the others' lead, but no one speaks, so he does, softly.
"We should...rescue him."

Meleager comments:
What's a big hairy? is that a human like me? and who's Yeemik?
Zuix is watching for an ambush or anything.
"No, no. You fleshy Human man, like prisoner. Klarg more big, more hairy, more scary." Worried he may have offended his captors he whimpers, but quickly continues "Yeemik Fat Boss Cragmaw."
