Walf claps his hands and stomps his walking stick "Friends what the word.... under... eh....not count on Walf and his bird friends! Walf tweet, bird tweet, and here is shipwreck." Walf then claps Durnir and Davis on their backs with a big smile.
Adaban looks solemnly at the wrecked vessel. He sighs. "One has known many such endings." Without another word he makes his way to the wreckage and begins to pick through it. As he does, he will drag any bodies up away from the tide line and cover them with wood or torn sail - whatever he can - to keep the birds off. He also secures any containers of supplies or any equipment or valuables that have washed up, before the tide returns. "To move quickly is advisable." He yells back to the others. "Bonfires to aide?" He suggests.
"Bird is the word!" Ivy blurts when Walf pauses mid sentence.
Ears twitch at the solumn sound of Adaban's voice. With Walf still close by, she pitter patters to tag along at Adaban's side offering to assist with his recovery efforts.
Durnir blushes and tugs at his beard a little after Ivy boops his nose "Aww, shucks, it was nothing".
To Walf, he says "I never doubt you when birds are involved. I feel all you do is Tweet now! Rohohoho!"
As they find the shipwreck, he watches as his friends start heading down the cliff. With a huff, he will say "We just made it up here, and we're heading back down? Alright, I suppose." He will head down as well.
Edit:
As they head down, he will look at the water lines. "It looks like the tide is low right now. If we wait, the high tide will come in and wash the wreckage away. Look for people first, this looks like it's recent. There might be people still alive!"
Those of you that wish to make your way down the cliff face - It is no simple journey down from your current position. The cliff is 75ft tall, and a formidable climb down to the shore for any seasoned climber. Without taking proper precautions and using proper equipment, free climbing could be deadly. If you continue along the ridge to the west along the bay, it looks like it does descend back down to a more reasonable height, but it will cost you time.
(Yes - though I would think you would have some time to yourself during this. What do you think you would be doing during the time it took them to circle around to the western side?)
You all make your way through the woods to meet up with Khione in the bay. During your walk through the forest atop the ridge, you don't encounter anything out of the ordinary. By the time you make your way onto they bay, the sky has gone dark. Stepping out onto the rocky shore, you are greeted with a magnificent view of the sky - an uncountable amount of stars look back at you, though the moon remains out of sight. Before you all is a jagged mess of boulders and eroded rock, and beyond that Khione, standing somewhere between the edge of the water and the rest of you.
(She would probably search about the area, trying to find any evidence of either people nearby or any kind of struggle. So footprints, blood, broken branches, etc. And that's a 15 for investigation.)
As the others make their way around the ridge that encircles the bay, you make your way along the shore - searching for anything worth your time. There are all matter of debris and junk - broken crates, barrels, ripped clothing, etc. At some point, you are hit with the smell of decay and hear the squabbling of birds from behind a boulder. Making your way around it, you find yourself looking onto a huddle of large vultures, most of their heads down but occasionally popping up to gobble down whatever carrion they are surrounding.
And then, you see the pair of human feet poking out from beneath the flock of feathered scavengers. The vultures are so distracted they do not seem to notice you.
"...Shit." Khione would mutter under her breath, watching the vultures feasting away on the corpse. She debated chasing them off for a moment, but decided that probably wouldn't work well on her own. She rushed away from the body in the direction she knew the others were heading in, waving her arms frantically to call attention. "Hey, over here! I think I found what we're looking for!"
Ivy leans to whisper to Durnir. "He chose to shoo the birds off the property instead of tweeting about it first." She notes the difference before meandering over for a closer look.
Walf waddles over to Khione with the use of his walking stick. He shoos the birds away and goes to look at the scene
As you go to shoo away the vultures, a few of them fly off while four of them remain. These look particularly stubborn, squawking at you. However, you now have a much better sight of the grizzly remains beneath them. A rotting corpse, bloated and bloody that appears to wear the remnants of a weathering robe.

(( Adaban would have taken the longer, safer route, though he would have made whatever haste he could doing so. ))
(( Durnir would have taken the long way around, as well ))
(Walf would follow Durnir but not as quickly)
Davis would take the long way, as that seems the way the majority of the group wished to go.
((Ivy too would meander the long way after Adaban))

(Would Khione be able to meet back up with them at this point?)

Davis holds back, keeping an eye out as the others approach the vultures.

“Walf see body now vulture fly away. Look bad. Walf talk with stubborn vulture if vulture no leave?”
