Ivy and Walf, you pull yourself out of the frigid water, shivering and wet. The moon beams down enough light for you to see the rocky beach. The wind continues to blow off from the sea, further chilling you to the bone. Adaban, Durnir, and Davis remain on the deck of the shipwreck.
Durnir starts tapping his feet as Adaban comes back. As Davis suggests opening it, he will say "We don't have a lot of time. We should just take the whole thing if we're gonna take it. We can open it on the beach. Davis, can you help me carry it back?"
He will looks to Adaban and see if he's ready to go.
“Thank you!” Ivy hops off Walf’s back. She follows him, giving their body a good shake from head to tail, to toe, wicking the water off in flinging droplets. She then shudders with a shiver. “It is chilly!” She confirms Walf’s musings, hugging their chest while their spectral hand with the skull floats between them. “We’re okay.” She nods to Walf, and has their hand make the skull nod too.
Ivy could have sworn she heard the familiar swearings of Durnir right behind them.“But what are they up too now?” She tilts their head while looking out to their companions who remain on the boat.
After a few moments, Ivy floats the skull closer to them and Walf. She then leans in to him. “Wannaname it?”
Ivy grins wide with Walf, enjoying his musings. She raises the skull a little in the air before them with their spectral hand. Adjusting their visage she then says, “To be, or not to be? That is the question-“

"Take it back? Seems like that would be a lot unnecessary effort, unless you have an idea I'm not thinking of. Let's see if we can get it open here, take what we need, and meet the others back on shore." Davis will approach Adaban, and look over the chest. "Somebody here a burglar or do we need to try and break that lock off?"
Davis looks to Durnir and shrugs, "You want to do the honors then?"
(( LOL - sorry, it's hard to work in his unusual speech inflections what I'm actually trying to say. Adaban (as per the original if / then post) would touch the chest and it would disappear with him. ))
As Adaban disappears with the chest, Davis turns to Durnir, "Well. I guess that does it. Let's get moving then, shall we? I think we deserve a warm meal after all of this, I've had enough surprises for one day." He begins to make his way toward the edge of the boat.
Durnir exclaims as Adaban disappears with an odd after image. "ELF WHISKERS! WHERE DID YOU GO?" ((Now he'll say it! hahaha))
In response to Davis "I suppose so. Hope that dainty bastard actually shows up again. Lets go." He will follow Davis and make there way to shore.
Shivering, he makes his way back to the shore and looks back and forth between Walf, Ivy, and the skull. "Has she named it yet? More importantly, where are we going. It's been long enough, the tavern would probably let us come back. We probably want to bring that thing to a temple in the morning. They can probably take care of it better than we can."
As Davis and Durnir pull themselves onto the shore, Walf and Ivy would notice the light of a lantern carried by a silhouette making its way up the rocky coast to the east.
As they close the distance, you begin to see the face of Eirlys with the light provided by the lantern.
She calls out to the both of you, "Sorry I left you all at such a bad time, the girl wanted to get back to Noir. Said she had better things to do than wait around. Did I miss all the fun?"
Durnir, dripping wet starts heading to Eirlys. "Ehh, not too much. Time to head back, yea? We could all use a drink and a warm bed, I think. Maybe some food."
(( If time is fast-forwarding then please let me know when Adaban hits 4 hours... as he would pop into the world. If Durnir and the others go to an inn or someplace to sit and talk by then, he would try to strategically arrive - with the chest - at that most opportune time... instead of in Durnir's room at night whilst he sleeps... ))
“I have!” Ivy chimes in response to Durnir’s comment about them naming the skull. However, she’s quickly distracted by the approach of Eirlys and unable to hide her expression in reaction to the news about the other girl. Rude one that other one. Too good for them and not a team player. Ivy scrunches their nose and fights off the urge to roll their eyes, then shrugs. Their attention is then snatched back by Durnir who mentions need for a warm bed and food. Ivy’s hips start to wiggle and she bounces. “Food and bed!” She agrees. After pacing a circle around Durnir and Walf, with a hum Ivy moves into a skip to carry them off towards Noir with the floating spectral hand trailing them, carrying the black skull.
As they head back, with Ivy bouncing the skull around, Durnir will recount the tale of the stone cursed. As they get back to town, he ends his tale with "And that's the cursed skull that Ivy is bouncing around. Don't touch it.... Maybe we should put it in a bag or something. Oh, and that Adaban guy just up and disappeared! Did I mention that? He was there one second, then there was a flash of something, then he was gone! Took the treasure chest he found with him? Said some weird mumbo jumbo, then gone. I should probably just chuck this weird stone ring into the woods. But, he seemed like a nice enough fella, really weird though. Ehh, maybe he'll just poof right back? Ha, that'd be hilarious, just poofs back with magic in the middle of a bar! Rohohohoho!"
Walf follows along with the use of his walking stick "Walf no like long walks on beach. No good for creaky knees." Walf says as he rubs his back "Ivy town people think magic no good. Do like Durnir say and put Durnir's Helm in bag" Walf turns to Durnir and chuckles "Walf name skull after Durnir's Helm God of Durnir. Durnir hungry as Walf? Walf eat Durnir's hand soon.....If Durnir's hand taste like carrot. Walf reformed meat eater." He laughs again "Durnir play joke on ring man. Place ring under bed. Ring man reappear BONK!" Walf laughs a little harder and continues walking along
Eirlys responds as Durnir finishes recounting the story, "Sounds like a job well done then, I'd say. Hopefully that Adaban character returns with this chest - would be awfully unfortunate to go through all that work and get none of the pie!"
After about 30 minutes of hopping across the boulders along the shore, you find yourselves back at the edge of Noir. The dimly lit settlement is now mostly quiet, except for those that wander to and from the taverns across the old creaking planks of the boardwalk. A few men also patrol around the ships on the port, keeping a watchful eye out for any mischief. 150 feet down the road you see the light of the Rigger's Retreat and can hear the dull roar of voices from within, even from this distance.

Walf shakes the water off himself "Whoo chilly to the bones yes? Friends ok?"

just an unstable unicorn.
“Ooh name like Durnir’s Helm or Pastry. 2 of Walf’s favorite things” Walf laughs quite proud at his joke
Ivy grins wide with Walf, enjoying his musings. She raises the skull a little in the air before them with their spectral hand. Adjusting their visage she then says, “To be, or not to be? That is the question-“

(( Edited ))
Adaban would nod with a partial - very formal - bow. "Time constrains such. One will create more for that which must be done."
(( Then... disappearing trick time! ))
Davis looks to Durnir and shrugs, "You want to do the honors then?"

(Sure - if everyone wants to timeskip back to Noir, we can do that.)
Eirlys looks you all over, "I believe it. I sure wouldn't want to be getting wet on a cold windy day like this. What'd you find out there?"
