With those Perception checks, you've lost Grislin. Folks are getting up to leave, blocking your path.
Io, you're not sure about the elven man behind you but you don't think he's from the feywild.
Merrick, in your travels and studies you've heard of black-eyed elves called pallid elves from the world of Exandria. Pallid elves are incredibly perceptive. You also gather that he's an investigator of some sort.

Merrick looks into the crowd, his sight jumping from one person to another, but he completely loses Grislin, as well as any idea of their next course of action.
"I can't see Grislin anymore, there are too many people here. But we've clearly seen that he was heading to the backstage area, so if we found a way to sneak there we could overhear what's going on. Moreover, the tent is made of fabric and must have really thin walls. I wonder if we could hear their conversation from outside? Although I'm very not sure about the latter. Or... That person over there looks like some investigator or someone like that. He's also not one of the fans wearing hats. Could he have the same goal as ours? What do you think should we do, try to follow Grislin further or to ask more about this man?"
"Divide and conquer, you go after Grislin i go after the investigator. About going in or out.... hhmm maybe try out, better safe then sorry. After we are done we meet on the entrace of this city the one we came in, if by midnight me or you aren't there then something happened and we go to the other location, what you say?" Io quickly looked around to see if the investigator was still there
"Do we really need to fight? Why not just run?" Merrick takes a step back, nervously glances at the exit, then again back at the thugs and begins to concentrate.
"Don't worry, we'll surely take them down easily!" That was probably addressed to Io. Then he yells louder, so the enemies could hear "They may look scary, but it's just as fake as their boss' shows!"
(Action - cast Vicious Mockery on one of the thugs that wasn't attacked yet, giving Bardic Inspiration dice to Io as bonus action.)

Thug WIS saving throw - 16
The thug is unaffected. Also, is that Bardic Inspiration going to Io? I just want to make sure.
As this happens, a burly orc appears and goes up to the thug and swings his greatsword.
Attack: 7 Damage: 10
(The orc was attacking the thug with advantage and landed a pretty critical hit).
Clarification on that - you can't use Bardic Inspiration for damage, only for attacks, saving throws and ability checks like Merrick said in the OOC chat. You also only get to use it once. Which that's okay, you weren't sure. So it's only going to be 1 point of damage for that thug.
Also with Bardic Inspiration, you can use it however you want it's up to you. Might I make a suggestion in that you can use Bardic Inspiration after you make a roll. So for instance, say you had a lower roll on that Ice Knife attack, you could've used it then to increase the chances of hitting. This is just something for food for thought and I posted it on here, so it's easier for you to see and you don't have to go back and forth.
Also since the Ice Knife, hit the other thug and the orc have to make dex saves.
Thug 2's Dex Save - 16
Orc's Dex Save - 13
Now it's the Thug's turn
Thug 2 will attack the orc -
Attack: 19 Damage: 7
Attack: 19 Damage: 3
Thug 1 didn't like that Ice Knife attack and will draw a heavy crossbow to fire at Io.
Attack: 21 Damage: 1

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Io, you watch as a crossbow bolt just barely penetrates your armor for 1 point of damage as the orc gets hit with the shards of ice from the Ice Knife blast followed by two massive swings of a mace that connect as well.
It's the top of the round and Aingael turns to the Thug wailing on his orc friend and squints once more. He mutters under his breath and fires an arrow at the thug.
Attack: 18 Damage: 7
Merrick, it's your turn.

Merrick hears the guards running away, and peeks out from behind the bench. The battle is finally over. "That was scary! I've got to find myself a crossbow or something like that, so I could help too next time we encounter anything dangerous. We need to get out of here too, before they return with backup. Let me just check something first."
He approaches the body of the one fallen thug, staring at it with confusion. Last time in the woods there were zombies, who looked way less human, but this one was a person. These thugs attacked first, so it was self-defence, right? Still, killing someone doesn't really seem right. Do adventurers really need to deal with such things often?
Merrick examines the body for something useful or any further clues. Does he have anything unusual with him, maybe something with GG letters? One of the thugs had a crossbow, does this one have any weapon?
When he is finished with examination, he turnes around, trying not to look at the body anymore. He speaks to Aingael and his companion. "Thank you for helping us. May I ask, why were you here? Not just for the show, I assume?"
Looking through the thug, you don't find a letter but you do find a mace, 12 gold pieces, and 7 silver.
Aingael nods turning to Merrick. "No, Uce and I are here to investigate the disappearance of a nobleman's daughter."
Uce adds," One of our friends in the feywild requested we look into his daughter's vanishing. He brought us here from Exandria and we looked into it. We think Grislin might have something to do with it."

The investigator is still behind you and he's hearing you say this. As he does, he says "Aingael Ellssar, and I don't suggest you leave just yet."
After he says this, you see three large goons walk toward you with one of them pointing," There they are, get them."

Yes, bardic inspiration is going to Io.
"Well i don't know if this is necessary given the strenght of that person but"
Ice Knife
Attack - 24
Damage - 1+5
((sorry don't know if it's possible to roll both at the same time))

Ray of Frost
Attack- 17
Damage- 7
The frost hits the thug after he took a hard swing from the sword.
"Let's get out of here!"
The two guards leave and run to the back. You're out of combat.
What do you do?
