I’ll have to track your Frigid Woe condition a little later tonight on my laptop, I didn’t write it down and I don’t want to do that on mobile right now!!
Here you are, practically on the doorstep of the Salsvault, but the journey in this frozen wasteland has been taking its toll. You can feel Frigid Woe within you progressing, growing stronger. Spidery blue veins are progressing along your skin, and you feel perpetually cold.
Both of you have your movement speed reduced to 15. If it gets to zero then you will die.
Orvo can't help but notice the progression of the disease in both of you. He tends to avoid the subject, feeling it to be awkward, but today he says, "We are close to the Salsvault, and hopefully a cure."
You trudge along over the Thin Sheets but the pace has dragged a bit. Orvo purses his lips but says nothing, just presses on. There is an unexpected benefit, though. The slower pace allows you to more safely navigate the Thin Sheets and no one falls through the ice.

Please make your daily survival check. Today's check will determine how quickly you can find the Salsvault, as you're basically in the general area at this point.
"Thanks Orvo, Oh how I am ready to get to this cave and see if we can find a cure for the town we left behind." looking around, "got to admit, I am not quite ready to die myself either."

With much diligent searching, after what feels like ages, you finally get a sense that your adventure could be coming to a close. Ahead you spot an anomaly in the blank whiteness of this place. You're seeing what could be a bulge in the otherwise flat terrain. It's barely perceptible, easily overlooked, but you latch onto it. The bulge grows larger as the three of you approach, showing that it was larger and further away than you first realized. Judgment of distance can be difficult in this white wasteland. Once you are closer to the bulge, you can make out a half-submerged, dark-blue stone building poking up through the ice. A gray stone door is carved to look like a face with a half-exposed skull. Scribed above the door is the word “SALSVAULT.”
There are no other buildings or humps. This one is sizeable though. It seems to be a bit off-kilter, like the structure is not quite aligned with the ground.
Fro will try to just force the door open with strength (18). If that doesn't work, she will light a torch and try to melt the ice around the door to loosen it.

Scribed above the door is the word “SALSVAULT.”
Are there any more buildings, humps? Is there a way to get in the building?
Cyro looks around for an entrance, or a possible way to get in.

A gray stone door is carved to look like a face with a half-exposed skull. Scribed above the door is the word “SALSVAULT.”
Orvo says, “This is how we came in last time, and we left it open, so I suppose someone or something has since shut it.”
There are no other buildings or humps. This one is sizeable though. It seems to be a bit off-kilter, like the structure is not quite aligned with the ground.
Fro will look at the door, preparing to open it. Does it have a lock or traps?
"I guess we should go in and check it out. We know this is where Orvo went last time, might as well get to it."
perception: 9
You don’t discern any locks or traps. Seems like you ought to be able to push the door open. But you do see considerable ice rimming the door.
Fro will try to just force the door open with strength (18). If that doesn't work, she will light a torch and try to melt the ice around the door to loosen it.
