Mixtli is really wondering what is going on, but decides its better to ask the others for some explanations when they are away from Lamai. For now he'll remain helping clean up the place.

Tandor stairs are Lumai for a moment, then mutters, "There are none so blind as those who will not see," Then he turns to the others, "I don't know about the rest of you but Gilbert and I will find the truth of things no matter what this lady wishes to believe. We have to leave to do that." Turning back to Lumai he says, "After I have this figured out, I will be back." Turning, he leaves the booth.
His plan is to methodically sweep the market, looking for persimmons or their remnants while Gilbert sniffs for the odd scent. As necessary he will cast guidance on whichever of them need it.
Seeing that Tandor seems to have a plan for finding the culprit or culprits, Trencher follows along after him to see what he finds, and to be around in case he finds trouble.
But after about half an hour he begins to lose interest. He continues to follow and watch Tandor as before, but it is more mechanical following rather than careful scrutiny of the goings on of the cleric and the nearby market.
Mixtli joins Tandor and while walking behind Tandor he asks Mialee about what is going on? And why it seems they are involved.

Smiling he heads over to the vendor, "Yes, it was great fun and sport! We chopped up those critters and they made quite a load of some really good food." He shakes his greataxe about slightly as he brags a bit.
"The seafood place and the noodle shop keep saying the other one's sabotaging them, but we can't find any evidence of one messing with the other. The owners used to be friends, till both groups suddenly started claiming the other had attacked their store- and we got mixed up when the Xungoon's kid ran into our group. We cut a deal with the Xungoon's too find the culprit for free food for life, but I'm thinking this is too much to ask, 'specially when we've got a job unfinished still.
I'm off to talk with Tandor, then I'll go see how Trencher and Liber feel- want to come with?"
Mialee sidles over to Tandor as he moves about the market.
"Look, I know you want to help these people out. But this will be a long term deal, I'm feeling, and for what, free food? We won't be back all that often. Lamai- she doesn't even want help, she's just mad. Let's just leave, give Kusa a nice apology gift and tell her what we've found so far, and do what we came here for. Sticking around risks our first goal."
Tandor nods in agreement. "Yes, I'm thinking the same. They don't even really want help. They just want to be mad at each other. Let's head over to Kusa then go home."
The vendor chatting with Trencher shakes his head. "Man, I wish I could have seen it! At least I got to hear you tell the tale! Don't suppose a Champion is in need of a commemorative bauble? I could even engrave it for you, no charge for the custom engraving, just let folks know where you got it if they ask, yeah?"
He holds up a perhaps a bit tacky necklace, a leather cord with a two inch long bronze axe dangling from the center. "Only five silver!"
"Are you going to try for the trifecta? It's been years since we've had a triple champion, and after your Prawn win, folks have been saying you might have what it takes!"

"Oh, I'm not even sure what the other contests really are. We could try I guess, if my friends want to. Do the other contests include bashing stuff up, too?" He puts his hand out to look at the necklace closer. He feels the leather cord and gives it a slight tug to make sure it is strong, and takes a long look at the brass axe. His nose scrunches up just a bit, before he notices he is doing it and quickly stops. "Do you have one that has an axe that looks a bit more like mine?" and he hands the item back to the man.
"Uhhh, I can make one! Madame Kulp wouldn't take to kind to things getting bashed, and the other one is a hot pepper eating challenge, so probably not a lot of bashing there either."

"Hmm oke, doesn't look like they want much help indeed, but would be horrible if a third party destroys two market businesses and who knows what else comes in their path at this market.. So yeah I'll join you."

Trencher nods as the other events are explained to him. "Yeah, that's not really my thing. Maybe the hot pepper would be interesting, but not all that exciting."
"How much would it be for one made to look like my battleaxe?" And if I get it, I for sure would tell anyone who admired it, who it was that made it for me."
He nods and thinks a bit. "Ok, I'll take one." He gets his axe off his back and lays it on the merchant's table so that he can get a good look at it. He looks back and forth from the axe and the merchant and when he thinks that man has seen it enough to remember it, he takes it back off the table.
Looking at the earlier trinket that the man had showed him, he wrinkles his brow while thinking, then finally asks, "What do you think the inscription should be?"
He then glances around and wonders where Tandor has wandered off to. Trencher shrugs and then his interest goes back to the vendor.
"Maybe my name inscribed on the back? People call me Trencher, but my given name is Tizoc." Hmmmm....
"It's Kusa. Ku-Sah! Lamai would profit from this, now stop bothering me, I've gotta reopen!"

Tandor the White, Human Life Cleric
After a half hour or wandering this segment of the market, neither Gilbert nor Tandor spot any persimmons.
Vendors call out to him, but quickly desist when the cleric ignores them.

"Good evening, sir dwarf! Are you the one they say jumped IN the tank over at Sid's game? My cousin was there, said it was the best he's ever seen!"
A human trinket vendor calls out to Trencher.
