For Horkur, the fireflies are bobbing in and out of reach and he's able to slash at one, but misses. The lights sparkle and flash in his eyes but he avoids becoming mesmerized.
Elric is almost lost in the bewitching lights but overcomes the strange sensation and knocks another of the bugs out of the air with a well-thrown stone.
(I took the liberty of making a charisma save for Nemi and she got a 14, also good enough to avoid the effects of the fireflies)

17 Horkur - missed
17 firefly A (6 dmg, not flying) - limping away
17 firefly B - (5 dmg) mesmerizing lights, then knocked down by Elric
I did actually roll a Charisma Save back on post #298 - of an 8. Happy to go with a save but mentioning to be fair. Which way should I go? Attack or mesmerized?
(Oh I overlooked that! Thanks for pointing it out. We’ll go with your roll, lol)
Nemi becomes mesmerized by the weaving and flashing purple lights. So beautiful… how could anything be this beautiful? But… Elric and Horkur are trying to destroy that beauty. They must be stopped.
Nemi you are under an effect like crown of madness except that ranged attacks are also allowed. You feel compelled to shoot Elric with your bow!
10 to hit, you missed.
Elric, it’s obvious to notice that there is a purple swirling light in Nemi’s eyes.
Nemi, at the end of your turn you can make another charisma save to overcome this effect.
We are now back at the top of the initiative for another round of combat.
Three of the fireflies are knocked down and wounded now, their lights flickering feebly, no magical effects apparent any more. The fourth, as yet unharmed, weaves and wavers over Elric.
Elric dodges the arrow from Nemi and looks at her, startled: "Woah! I'm on your si- ooohhhh, purple..."
With no time to do anything about his flummoxed friend, Elric throws a stone at the last firefly and then moves to see if he can put some cover between himself and Nemi.
Nemi shakes off the effect of the purple just as she sees her arrow fly by Elric then sees his own eyes briefly shade purple. She focuses her attention more of the bodies of the fireflies and fires again at the one that enchanted Elric. "Sorry Elric! Let me get that one for you!"
Elric knocks down the last flying bug and Nemi spears one of the other ones with her arrow, finishing it off, the other three are limping away, damaged, unable to fly or reproduce their hypnotic light show. They seem to be no longer dangerous. Will you finish them off or let them slink away?
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Nemi looks around at her new friends to see if any remain affected by the creatures then moves to examine the downed fireflies, especially their eyes. The purple has probably faded, but is there any residual evidence of it?
The purple tint is indeed fading away in death, leaving their eyes black and featureless. Otherwise the fireflies seem ordinary as far as you can tell.
Nemi flexes her claws and checks on Cheetah. "We seem fine." She eyes the others for any signs of poisoning having the concoction prepared. "I wonder how he's enchanting them, like his own little playground."
"Could be" says Elric, nodding at Nemi. "He's certainly got a knack for enchantments, but how can we stop him until we get back to full size? I really hope this smart fish can help us!"
Giving his companions a quick look to check they are indeed unhurt, the cleric heads off again towards the pond.

On his turn, Elric stoops down and grabs a handful of stones, casting Magic Stone as a BA.
Then, judging which firefly is nearest, the halfling hurls an enchanted rock hoping to get it right between the peepers.

We are now back at the top of the initiative for another round of combat.
Horkur, not noticing the change to Nemi, continues his attack on those within reach:
Action: Attack: 14 Damage: 4
Bonus Action: Offhand Attack: 8 Damage: 3
Horkur Beren in Tending the Garden
Geraine Lucineous in Onward Down
Three of the fireflies are knocked down and wounded now, their lights flickering feebly, no magical effects apparent any more. The fourth, as yet unharmed, weaves and wavers over Elric.
Elric make a charisma saving throw!
@DM - does the firefly effecting Nemi have to use their action to maintain control like the spell and could it be apparent to the others?
Charisma Save when needed (not sure if now or at end of upcoming turn) 5
Yeah, the firefly is completely occupied in its mesmerizing dance, i.e. it used its action.
Nemi, you broke free of the hypnosis at the end of round 1. You can act on your own for round 2.
Round 2
17 Horkur - wounded firefly C
17 firefly A (6 dmg, not flying) - limping away
17 firefly B - (5 dmg) limping away
17 firefly C - (4 dmg) - limping away
17 firefly D - mesmerizing lights on Elric
16 Elric - (make charisma save)

Charisma save for Elric 17
Elric dodges the arrow from Nemi and looks at her, startled: "Woah! I'm on your si- ooohhhh, purple..."
With no time to do anything about his flummoxed friend, Elric throws a stone at the last firefly and then moves to see if he can put some cover between himself and Nemi.
Attack: 22 Damage: 5 bludgeoning
Nemi shakes off the effect of the purple just as she sees her arrow fly by Elric then sees his own eyes briefly shade purple. She focuses her attention more of the bodies of the fireflies and fires again at the one that enchanted Elric. "Sorry Elric! Let me get that one for you!"
Longbow Attack: 15 Damage: 7
Elric knocks down the last flying bug and Nemi spears one of the other ones with her arrow, finishing it off, the other three are limping away, damaged, unable to fly or reproduce their hypnotic light show. They seem to be no longer dangerous. Will you finish them off or let them slink away?
Horkur chases one down to finish it off:
Attack: 13 Damage: 5
Bonus Attack: 10 Damage: 8
Horkur Beren in Tending the Garden
Geraine Lucineous in Onward Down
The remaining fireflies are easily slain.
You are awarded 250 exp for the moth encounter and 200 for the fireflies, so 450/3 = 150 exp each
Nemi looks around at her new friends to see if any remain affected by the creatures then moves to examine the downed fireflies, especially their eyes. The purple has probably faded, but is there any residual evidence of it?
investigation 14
The purple tint is indeed fading away in death, leaving their eyes black and featureless. Otherwise the fireflies seem ordinary as far as you can tell.
"Woah, those things were...purple sparkly!" exclaims Elric, breathing heavily from the rush of combat.
"Anyone need healing?"
