Rizo stays back and stares at the abomination. The forest doesn't take a break in surprising him. Unsure how to disable the large creature, he focuses on the goblins by enchanting his club (Shillelagh and Green-Flame Blade) and assaults the uninjured goblin, letting flames leap over to the second one. 

Attack: 19 Damage: 7 magical bludgeon plus 5 fire damage

If the attack hits, the second goblins takes 12 fire damage.

Meanwhile, the creature looks down at Aeron with tiny, beady, inky black eyes, and flaps one of its mouth tentacles. It could be interpreted as a friendly wave, but it could just as likely be threatening or lewd.

From around the corner, you hear a concerned goblin call out, "What the hell is going on over there? Hey, what are you - oh no. Help! The prisoner is escaping!"

The goblin who was yelling out of sight goes very suddenly and conspicuously quiet.

Revelry stares at the chuul with a combination of disgust and disdain.

"Holy heads of hydra, you might be the ugliest mother lover I've ever seen," she says, too taken aback in the moment to draw her sword.

Whistler raised an eyebrow at the others' interacting with the crustacean (although he did notice it seemed to flinch at Revelry's words.) Not wanting to disrupt their plans, he ran past the creature and tried to enter the log cabin where they'd heard the other goblins.

ACTION: Disengage from the Chuul
MOVE: Toward (ideally into) the original cabin

Presuming Whistler manages to make it inside, what does he see?

Darting past the insulted chuul and the flambéed goblins, Whistler rounds the corner and gets a good look at the structure that the bandit captain called "the old cabin."

Kneeling just outside the cabin's front door is a goblin, who's clutching a tangle of ropes that seem to have been in use as restraints. The goblin has a fatal slash wound across his throat. He looks at Whistler in confusion, points a shaky finger at the cabin, and dies.

The interior of the cabin looks like it might once have been a cozy home, but has long since fallen into disrepair. A pile of sagging furniture has been pushed into one corner, and the floorboards have been ripped up, revealing a shallow hiding place.

Standing over the hole in the floor is the weretiger in his hybrid form. He's clutching a scimitar, muttering to himself, and rubbing at the rope burn on his wrists. As you enter, he turns to you with a snarl.

Aeron walks past the chull and goblins, offering a friendly greeting as he also heads into the cabin

The confused chuul will attempt to make an attack of opportunity on Aeron as he walks past.

The chuul reaches out to snap at Aeron, but hesitates for a moment, caught off guard by the holy aura Aeron radiates.

With a shrug-like gesture that seems to say "Oops, my bad," Chewy turns its attention to Revelry and Rizo.

1st pincer @ Rizo - Attack: 15 Damage: 14 bludgeoning

2nd pincer @ Revelry - Attack: 25 Damage: 14 bludgeoning

As Chewy's pincer closes around Rizo, one of its tentacles wipes across Rizo's face and leaves behind a glistening trail of noxious slime.

Rizo, give me a Constitution saving throw!

Save DC 13, on a failure you are poisoned for 1 minutes and paralyzed until the poison ends. You can repeat the save at the end of your turn, ending the effect on a success.

"You killed my crew, nearly killed me, and now you're here to rob me? Have you no decency?"

He doesn't move to attack, but you can tell from his stance that he won't hesitate to protect himself.

"Bad Chewy!" she scolds. "Drop it. Drop it!"

She doesn't wait to see if the chuul will obey before she draws her longsword and attacks.

The chuul clicks angrily as Revelry's sword finds a gap between its armored plates and plunges into its flesh.
