The weretiger narrows his eyes, confused by the questions, and trying to understand your motives.

Talking is a free action, so we'll say it's still technically Whistler's turn if you want to dodge or ready an action.

The weretiger squints at Aeron and Whistler, no longer hostile, but still not convinced of your true intentions.

He'll make a DC 11 Insight check. On a success, he'll grudgingly accept that you mean him no harm and sheathe his sword. If he fails by more than 5, he'll interpret Aeron's gesture as a threat, and attack on his next turn. If he succeeds by more than 5, he'll join you against the chuul.

Meanwhile, outside...

The chuul hisses and swipes at Rizo with another mucus-laden tentacle. One of its pincers darts to the side and goes for Revelry, while the other pincer tries to tighten its grip on Rizo.

1st pincer @ Revelry - Attack: 21 Damage: 10 bludgeoning (and grappled if it hits)

2nd pincer @ Rizo  - Attack: 11 Damage: 10 bludgeoning and another con save, please (DC 13, fail = poisoned and paralyzed for 1 min; can repeat save at the end of your turn, ending both effects on a success)

((Yikes, that crit!!! I'm sorry for picking on Rizo so much this adventure, cyreon!))

((No problem here, he’s got a thick skin and it’s a streak of bad luck, perhaps there ll be some good luck in store for him soon))

Rizo strains under the pressure applied by the chuul, bones cracking. He manages to get a hand free though and blasts a 3rd level Burning Hands into the creatures face. Moni tries to support Rizo with a blast of her own.

The weretiger's ear twitches. Maybe it's the commotion outside, or maybe it's whatever he reads on Aeron and Whistler's face, but it seems to resolve something for him.

"Fine. Let's go kill that crab demon. Then we can talk."

He'll use his movement and action to exit the cabin and go around the corner where the fight is happening.

"Bhaal's bits," Revelry curses, watching Rizo's body go stiff. Most of the time she'd be able to cure his condition with a touch of her hand, but she still needs to spend some time getting back in her goddess's good graces before she'll have that power again.

As if by divine coincidence, the weretiger runs into the fray with his scimitar in hand. He doesn't seem like he's coming after her, and Revelry isn't sure what else to do besides continue to chop up the monster, so she gives the weretiger a "'Sup" nod and attacks the chuul with her longsword.
