I glance briefly into the eyes of Elro, nodding my head in respect. "Please accept my condolences."
I glance at our surroundings, furrowing my brow, lifting my chin, I return my gaze to the village leader. "The sun is low, and nightfall approaches. Shall we continue this conversation elsewhere? I do crave a fire and meal"
A dark-skinned dwarf stands at the graveside. She seems at ease in the cemetery, for all that her head is bowed in respect for the dead. "Urgon Wenth has earned his rest. He is with Kelemvor now, as all will be, at the end," she speaks solemnly, the words heavy with the weight of tradition. "But that does not mean we should hasten into His arms," she adds, turning to face the village leader. "What is this danger?"
A tall elf stands looking at the remains that everyone is celebrating. His violet eyes just taking in the form of the bow passed dwarf. His platinum blond hair just sways with the wind before he pulls his hood up to keep away some of the biting cold. As the elf approaches he just nods “I agree with my counterpart here. Could we continue this somewhere warming, maybe with a drink to honor the fallen?”
Elro nodded in agreement, averting his gaze across you, and the other to gain your full attention " Very well, shall we take this back to my village to discuss the matter over some nice hot chocolate to get your body heat back up and running and I can get that meal for you down at the tavern?" He gestured to Lesqwn showing that he was listening to what he was saying. His eyes avert to the noticeable exhaust escaping from all of your mouths as you exhale, it is very chilly but he is used to it because he is a veteran in this terrain. He is the leader of the Palebank Village after all." My Urgon's soul rests in a better place"he places his pale boney hand over his heart to show sincerity, And notions you all to his carriage that will transport you back to his village where he can discuss the urgent matter with you.

Laoxi is often a bit quiet and prone to mumbling, has been throughout the course of tracking Urgon to his eventual demise.
He's a lean and lanky, a tabaxi with thick, white and black fur beneath tight leather armor and a wide fur cloak with a deep hood (good for keeping the weather off your face).
He follows along with the others, his hands clasped in front of him a bit timidly.
Lesqwyn takes a moment to once again look around the gathering again, taking in the frozen remains of the fallen, the mourners and passers-by, and back again to Urgon. Repressing an urge to shiver, the druid takes leave, following the village leader towards the carriage. "Yes, yes, hot chocolate would be great. Shall we proceed?"
Kendell smiles as he walks towards the carriage "That sounds great!"as he steps in he just removes his hood again. The crimson blue book with silver designs pushing up onto his lap. On the other side the hilt of a bladed weapon peaking through. He just looks at the others as they enter the carriage, helping those who may need it.
Elro guides you into the carriage and gets in after Kendell hops in last. It's a bit warmer in the big black-coated carriage. It's nice and warm inside with red leather seats that are in excellent condition and dim gold chrome that makes it look very ravishing contrasting to the all-black exterior. " It won't take long to get to the tavern, not many folks are out on these cold nights so it will be mainly just us..".Elro examines the group, the small dark-skinned Dwarf, the two Elves, and The white-coated Taxabi. "Do you all know each other..?"Elro attempts to make small talk so it won't just be the loud silence filling the transport.

Laoxi holds up his hand to emphasize as he says quietly "Just a little. Things were hectic, and folks are still mostly strangers. Not sure I was able to introduce myself to everyone. I'm Laoxi." He gives a small, embarrassed wave.
Lesqwyn removes the hood from his head and shifts around, adjusting items as needed to be comfortable on the ride. He looks around the cabin, interested if the carriage has a door on both sides or only one. Thinking silently "should we be attacked on the road......" He makes a few more adjustments for ease of access to his weaponry if needed
Turning abruptly to Elro, but speaking softly, "I haven't had the pleasure to travel long with my companions here. Are we traveling through friendly parts my friend?"
Having arrived in Palebank only a few days before the funeral, the group hasn't been able to learn much about the dwarf yet, beyond her name, Bralledora Goldrock, the fact that she accompanied Urgon on some previous expedition, and that she is a woman of few words—her comments at the graveside are probably the most you've heard her say at once. She acknowledges Laoxi with a brief nod, and then follows Lasqwyn's lead in ensuring that the handaxes strung on her belt are ready to be drawn at a moment's notice.
"Oh yes this part of the woods is fairly friendly, very rare there is an encounter with the evil causes so we will be safe, I wouldn't take this route if it was infested with those pesky gnomes, they are the only ones that cause trouble in my town, but besides slight monsters being thieves we have a very low rate of trouble in my town. I will keep it that way.."He said the last words with sternness " So, you can ease off the weapons, we only have a little ways to go.." He reassured Lesqwyn, eying his obvious tension, and easing back into the seat flashing a quick smile at the four.
In the far distance you can make out lights forming, and silhouettes of small buildings covered in sheets of snow, you are a few miles away from the town, but something about it makes you a bit uneasy like there are secrets deep down that aren't being shown in the light of day-- or in this case, night.

"Thank you," the druid replies, smiling in return. Turning his gaze and nodding at each companion in the carriage, "I am Lesqwyn, merry we meet, merry we part."
Laoxi resituates in his seat. "That's a nice saying. Everyone that friendly where you come from, Lesqwyn?" He looks at the others. "Maybe I'm assuming, but I started figuring I'm not the only one who isn't from town."
Kendell just smiles at the man "Kendell Bladesong and as the others said we only met recently." he watches as the town comes into site "It looks like a nice town from a distance."
Lesqwyn watches the town approach through the windows of the ornate carriage, marveling at the opulence, caught in a surreal moment of uncertainty, awe and reverence. The snow capped roofs of the approaching town glistened from the lights of carriages and street lanterns. Weary and hungry from traveling, he longed for strong drink, hot food and lodging.... But alas, we must attend to this great mystery. The gods know I cannot resist a great mystery, the druid thinks silently, his empty stomach rumbling in anticipation as they draw nigh to the town. He chuckles softly, turning to his companions. "Excuse me. My mind seeks to know more of this frigid woe, but my stomach has other thoughts it seems."
"Thank you, I try to keep my town up in wraps"The buildings came vividly into view, smoke rising from chimneys, lights are seen dimly through the windows of small cottages and snow draped over everything like frosting. The buildings were nice as well as brick and wooden constructions bordering the streets. A few kilometers ahead you can see a small tavern in the far right corner, it was very dark so like Elro said, there weren't many out " We're here, safe and sound!" He chimed in as the carriage crept closer to the tavern.
Bralledora relaxes slightly as Elro reassures the group that the area is safe, and still more as they approach the tavern. Hearing the elf's stomach growl, something even approaching a smile touches her face. "I could use a drink, also," she agrees.
Elro smiled as the carriage came to a sudden stop and he waited a second before he opened the door, stepping out into the cold, it slapping him in the face " Hurry along now, you never really get used to this weather.." He urges the passengers to exit the transport. Smoke rising from the chimney of the tavern, and nice warm lights inside surface your peripheral vision. You can tell it wasn't new, the sign that read in big letters " The Smoking Gun", very contradicting to the homely vibe you get when being near the fairly small build. Elro opens the door, and you can feel the heat pouring into your face, and the smell of meats fill your nostrils "I heard you were having company Elro.." Chimed an unfamiliar feminine voice from behind the doors that lead to a kitchen " You always are prepared for everything, Bela"You suspect that is the name that belongs to the voice, then not shortly after, you see a short dwarf come from the doors with a smile on her face and some hot cocoa in her hands " You must be the chosen ones.."The little dwarf directed her attention to the 4 that were standing there.
