Lesqwyn breathes deeply, closing his eyes for a brief moment to fully appreciate the warmth of the tavern and the hospitality of the locals. Stepping forward from the group, he reaches out eagerly towards the dwarf and the hot cocoa, smiling as he speaks: "Thank you! I am Lesqwyn. I am pleased to make your acquaintance. May I?" as his hands pause in front of a mug, his eyes gesturing from the dwarf to the mug and back again, the anticipation barely concealed in his eyes. "It smells delightful."
Kendell just steps out and then moves towards the tavern taking the drink when offered. His ears perk a bit at the word 'chosen' as he looks at the rest and then back to the person "That's one way to put it I guess."
" Pleased to meet ya , Lesqwen, i'm Krozmebela Hardbrow, but everyone knows me by Bela; Oh shore go ahead, I made it especially for you guys.Thank you , just be careful, it's freshly poured so it may be a bit too hot. Please have a seat make yourselves at home i'll be in the back , call my name if you need me.." Her thick accent beams lightly when she talks. She gives a quick grin and goes back into the midst of the doors. There is some nice Pheasant laid out on the table that makes some member's stomach churn as it catches a waft. You all settle down at the table with the steaming drinks and food and Elro follows after you, the words " Chosen One's" Echoing in your brain. What did she mean by that?

Bralledora raises an eyebrow slightly, twice. First at Krozmebela's—with Bela's—being so free with the shortened form of her name; she cannot imagine allowing anyone she has barely met call her Dora! And second, at the phrase "chosen ones"; but, she accepts a cocoa and sips at it politely, though it's a little sweet for her taste, before turning her attention back to Elro and asking, "So, what threatens this village, and does it relate to what happened to Urgon?"
Kendell just smiles sitting down to the meal as he begins to eat the bird and his companions ask questions. For now he just wants to listen waiting to hear whats in store for them.
Elro Gets close and talks in a low tone, to set the mood. this was a very serious matter... " Well, two months ago, Urgon Wenth returned home after exploring Eiselcross for a year. He had been back for only for a few days when he came down with a strange affliction, which made him dwarf move slowly and caused strange blue veins to appear all over his body. The village’s priests of Moradin and Corellon used every spell they could muster to attempt to heal Urgon, but nothing they tried could stop the bizarre malady. Urgon battled the affliction for weeks until his body turned to ice. Until yesterday, the community believed that Urgon’s sad fate was an isolated incident, most likely caused by something the dwarf came into contact with while exploring Eiselcross. Then I noticed Tulgi Lutan, a dwarf trapper, showing signs of the same illness a little while after. I was alarmed, I tried to talk to Tulgi about it, but she pushed me away, asking that I "let her die in peace." He looked at all of them, pausing for commentary and questions.

Clearing his throat, looking at those seated around him, his gaze settling upon Elro, Lesqwyn speaks. "How many have been afflicted by this frozen plague? It speaks of magic. I'm no wizard or cleric, but this is not any common illness borne by nature."
Almost as an afterthought, he adds "are there any survivors of this malady, or perhaps one who has yet to succumb? Have you learned of the means of how it spreads from one to another?"
Elro Continues "This has afflicted two individuals. it was not a plague exactly, Urgon brought home several items plundered from ruins on Foren, the largest of Eiselcross’s islands. Among these treasures were two beautiful blue glass vials, which Urgon sold to an elf collector named Verla Pelc. The vials were then stolen, given to a fence out of Shadycreek Run, and sold again to an unsuspecting merchant. The vials’ beautiful blue color results from deadly blue spores that cling to the interior of the glass. Faint cracks in both the vials have exposed each person who handled them to frigid woe, a deadly disease that can’t be cured by conventional means. The disease has already killed Urgon and Verla and am sure it's about to kill Tulgi if we don't find the cure, so If you all are willing, could you go and see what the concoction of Urgon and Tuglis afflictions are in return I will give you 100gp." Elro looks at you all, hoping the group will accept this task and maybe help find the cure for the wretched diesease.

Laoxi raises a hand. "I'm not sure I understood your request. You want us to go find the phials? Won't that expose us? With no cure in sight, that seems... I mean... I have traveled Eiselcross quite a bit... Maybe there's something up there... Maybe?" The longer the tabaxi talks, the more his confidence wanes.
"Finding a cure would be ideal," Bralledora agrees, "though if need be, better that we take the vials to our own grave than allow them to continue to kill others."
Lesqwyn holds his now empty mug in both hands, staring into it as if it holds the secrets to the cure for frigid woe. Rolling the cup to and fro between the palms of his hands, he speaks without looking up.
"It would seem 'tis not of magical origin, albeit a great mystery still. The vials conceivably can be traced to the ruins on Foren, but what about the origin of the spores which give the vials their beautiful luminescence? I would think a cure lies in the source."
He turns at Laoxi and shakes his head in the reassurance that his concern is no problem, " Oh no no, I just want to you to see if Tulgi has the same disease as Urgon had, I'm worried it could spread and kill us all, but Tulgi refuses to fess up and she very distrustful of authorities. I think you all will have better luck talking to her than I or my enforcement '' He adverts his attention to Bralledora's remark " I agree finding a cure would be ideal, but first I need to know who has gotten these vials, if it gets in the wrong hands, were in more danger. deadly." "The disease in the blue spores is frigid woe, It is a special disease developed by Aeor’s mages that cannot be cured by conventional treatment or magic. The only way someone infected with the disease can be cured is by finding and drinking the manufactured antidote, a milky liquid stored in gold vials in Eiselcross’s ruins. This disease was created to slow down the forces of the gods and get around the healing power of their clerics and angels. The disease is transmitted by breathing in blue spores that Aeor’s mages created long ago. That's why I need to know where id Tulgi comes in contact with it and who has it now before it's too late.." He trails off, the worry in his eyes growing stronger, he cares for the people in his town and the deaths fall in his hands if it's uncontrolled.

"This is indeed a grave matter, with great implications. This must be prevented from spreading throughout all the realm." Turning to each of his companions in turn, looking around the tavern at the inhabitants, then back into his empty mug. Lesqwyn raises his hand, smiling at the dwarf hostess, "I would like more hot cocoa my kind Bella."
Bella pops out the door with a fresh cup of hot cocoa " Another cup coming right at you, do you guys want anything else..?" She looked around with a warm smile as she sets the steaming hot cup on the table, in front of Lesqwen, the marshmallows surfacing to the top, dissolving slowly , Bella was a very lovely dwarf, she considered everyone her friend but you don't want to be on her bad side, it can get ugly, really ugly. "No thanks Bella, That will be all for me"Elro smiles as Bella takes his cup along with the other empty ones and gives a small wink as she leaves. "I suggest you try to search Urgon's cabin for clues or just go straight to Tulgi's cabin either way you might find some crucial information about this situation" At that moment someone emerges from a nearby table , she was the only other in the tavern beside the 5 of them, well 6, including Bella. She stands a bit tall with her dark black hair that comes down a bit messily at her shoulders and her piercing green eyes that tell a story of their own, she stands directly in front of the table with a serious but daunting look on her face. " I want to help you guys, I was really close with Mr.Wenth, He and my father worked alongside each other and I knew him pretty well, but whatever this thing is that killed him, I will do whatever it takes to destroy it. I won't be a bother, and I'm not bad it's just you're not the greatest at keeping a low profile, and I just want to avenge his soul and maybe get an inch of sleep because the longer this is out there the more I worry that someone else is going to die."

As the girl begins to talk to them he just looks around taking in the situation "I don't mind miss, but I think adding an additional person requires a group consensus - especially since our lives might depend on it."

Addressing their choice of destination, she says, "If we find some connection between them in Urgon's cabin, we may gain leverage to get Tulgi to talk."
