His military background kicked in and asked for formation.

he grabbed his maul and moved forward another 5 ft looking around for anything amiss.

Hadrian you find tracks from half a dozen goblins that quickly dashed into the woods in 2 separate groups.

Jetsam, quick to react, drew his shortsword in one hand and grabbed his already-loaded light crossbow with the other. 

 "Goblins! Sharpen up!"

Hadrian moves into battle formation. He takes a martial stance awaiting the threat that follows.

Muriel draws get quarterstaff and gets into a combat stance 

Initiative: 8

Goblin 1: 21

Goblin 2: 11

Goblin 3: 9

Goblin 4: 15

Goblin 5: 12

Goblins 1,2,3 are to the left 20 ft goblins 4,5,6 are to the right 20 ft.

Order: Jetsam, Goblin 1, Goblin 6, 4, 2, 5, 3. Muriel, Tommy, Hadrian

Jetsam seeks out a target, leveling his crossbow and firing at Goblin 1. (19 to hit, 10 piercing damage. ) He then drops the crossbow, draws his dagger to accompany his shortsword and moves over to the two remaining goblins on the left.

Hadrian was able to shrug off the bow without taking damage. He awaits for his opportunity to do a charge.

Muriel attacks goblin6 with her quarterstaff twice, and then follows up with a bonus unarmed strike
