Ok. Unconventional as I was trying to be, I think I was over ambitious with the cut off for submissions.
Recruitment is closed. I will be taking the rest of the week to establish 2 groups. Group 1 will be North American timezones while Group 2 will be European to Australia with everyone in between.
I would however like to take this opportunity to thank each of you for your time and creativity. I can't pick everyone but I certainly appreciate your efforts!!

Will the two groups be playing separately or what is the reason for it?
Thank you very much for running a game and giving us all the chance to show you our characters. I'm sure I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate it!

Unhappy that the market got rid of individual purchases for one-off subclasses, magic items, and monsters?

Inspector Boisseau (Variant Human Inquisitive Rogue) would like to offer his services to this adventuring party.
After closing up his P.I. business due to the lack of steady work, one of his larger competitors offered to subcontract him in a job they recently took on. They wouldn't diverge any information about who thier client was or any motivation behind the job, but they needed someone to collect information on a cult organization out in the Anjara kingdom and no one in their employment wanted to risk traveling there, let alone complete the task. With little to go on and needing the money, the Inspector accepted. He was provided the name of a rumored cult member Sayre Silverwood and a decanter of endless water (1000 gp according to Wanderer's Guide to Merchants and Magic) to assist with the desert climate.
After hearing of the good doctors call, Boisseau quickly volunteered his services in hopes to find his lead and ultimately fulfill the obligations of the contract.
Thanks for the invite. XD. I've hidden a few details under spoilers for people who like to learn about other people's characters as they go. I still need to finalize equipment and have a few things that would need DM approval, But I would like to introduce...
Magic Item (pending approval): A set of adamantine splint mail bestowed by his church with demonstrated devotion and upon taking certain vows.
Background:
Ban was introduced to Dr. Maitland though the head of the temple he serves. Originally there to access the temple's extensive local genealogy records, Maitland found himself impressed and curious about the stoic and statuesque temple guards found around the compound. Towering, animal-headed men and women, minimally clothed to draw attention to their fitness and black hooded to ensure they remain aloof and unnerving in contrast to the general temple staff, largely consisting of elderly scholars and healers. Ban was then assigned to escort Maitland during his visit and answer any of his questions.
Whether it was Ban's physicality - well over 6' 5" with wide ivory horns, a well-maintained physique, gleaming sable fur, and intriguing mix of decorative and obvious battle scars - his skills, or his demeanor - soft spoken and professional as well as quick with a smile or an offer of assistance - that impressed him most, Maitland extended an invitation for Banetou Thesia to round out his expedition.
Though he considers the temple and his duties there a calm and needed sanctuary from the challenges of the outside world that have left obvious marks on him, he can't help feeling a pull to help this man who seems both eager to find his mentor and maybe a touch naïve about the risks involved. So to help him know the best path, Ban cast a ritual (Augury) asking his god what portent he sees for this expedition. Woe. He informed Dr. Maitland of his decision to offer his services the next morning.
Alignment, Backstory, Ideal, Bond, Flaw:
Alignment: NG - Even at his lowest point, even when cravings drove him to do things that couldn't be undone, he managed to retain a core of hope and generosity. and though his is often ambivalent about the laws of the land, divine law and personal accountability are another matter entirely. Criminal Background: Though he's solidly been on a better path for several years, Banetou has had a troubled past. He spent several years in a downward spiral that began with a fairly successful "career" as a fighter in underground fight clubs in various cities but led - first little conveniences and indulgences then later with degrading and regrettable acts - to a life off addiction and desperation.
Ideal: It all ends the same - Nihilistic on the surface, Ban believes that death and suffering are the thing that unites and equalizes us all. From the greatest heroes and villains, to beggar who never rises from the gutter, we are all welcomed into Death's arms.
Bond: Ban has taken several personal and religious vows that I will detail on his sheet, but Charity and Sobriety are the most notable.
Flaw: Ban's relationship with self control is complicated for obvious reason and he has built up rituals around his day to day life that he uses in combination with self-directed penance to remain on a healthy path. This is a functional coping strategy in some ways, but can be unhealthy in others
