Okay, since I got so many great submissions, I'm going to go ahead and close nominations early. I had a really hard time choosing between everyone's characters but these are the four who'll be playing:
Kris (KaylonBalderk) with Graham Casner
Alaric (AlaricBloodhunter) with Craig Doe
Will (WilliamOThewisps) with Dr Dan Dringle
Burgen (Burgen_Badluk) with Sheriff Sam Givens
If you're on this list and don't think you can post once a day or otherwise can't take part, let me know and I'll invite somebody else to fill your slot. Once you've all confirmed that you can make it, we'll do a quick session zero and get started! 😁

Woo! Sorry i was gone over the weekend btw, stuff got busy and i had a birthday party to do
The sleepy town of Mount Pleasant is found on the Alaskan-Canadian border, just north of anything important. Not a lot goes on round here, but when it does, rest assured that it's the talk of the town decades later (and don't get them started on Joel's frostbitten bees). The hub of this less-than-vibrant community is the Ice Puck, where pizza flows freely and every screen shows ice hockey. Always. Someone tried to change the channel thirty years ago and that was the only homicide case in a century.
Sat by the roaring fire, four unknowing adventurers draw closer to the flames for warmth against the bitter, unending cold.
Dr. Dan Dringle sits very close to the fire, helping himself to his fifth—well he’s lost count—slice of pizza. A curly, round mound of reddish-brown hair adds to his already considerable height, and he wears his typical cheap gray suit. A small, metal cylinder sits on the arm of his chair, recognizable as the device he’s used to “record” interviews with his three companions, as well as other locals. He nearly knocks it off the chair, bursting into a coughing fit after taking a bite of the pizza. He coughs and hiccups for an awkward length of time, then drinks an entire glass of milk in one go.
“That’s a spicy prizza!” With one final, dramatic cough, he pushes the wire-framed glasses further up his nose, leaving a big greasy, saucy print on the bridge of his nose. The glasses magnify his oddly large blue eyes, both of which seem to vacillate between aimlessly wandering or blankly staring. The doctor’s usual vague smile returns to his face as he says, “Too bad there’s no darn breakfast at this hour, what’s a guy gotta do to get some farm fresh eggs?!”
Not one to initiate plans or specifics he gives a sort of blank smile to his new friends and takes another bite of the too-spicy pizza.

Sheriff Sam reaches up to his brow and taps his hat to the side to scratch his head. He seems a bit lost in thought and is staring at the fire. He is wearing a tan buckskin shirt, Jeans , and a Stetson hat. He glances around the room after a minute, seeming to look at one of the hokey games but checking really to see who has shown up. He ignores the pizza for now, not being good with spicy food himself. "Had to pick widow Johnson up earlier today and take here to her sisters place. No heat at her place and she can't fetch firewood so good anymore. This cold is a problem."
Graham does not respond to the others, he furiously combs through his notes searching for a line he cant remember fully. He has been like this for most of the night, his share of pizza growing cold, his only source of sustenance the cup of coffee by his side that is most definitely not his first.
Graham looks like he is probably late thirties, with black hair and beard, and a slight grey around his temples. He wears a tucked in button down flannel shirt with the sleeves rolled up, and jeans with winter boots. His snow jacket is tossed over the back of his chair, and he has chosen the seat furthest away from the fire, when doing so he might have mumbled something about overheating easily.
OOC: I fear I just described an alternate universe version of Al Borland from Home Improvement.
As the three of you (we'll see whether Alaric can join, if not then a party of three still works) sit around the fire, exchanging a few words and mulling over the cold, a moose barrels into the taproom, standing up on its hind legs, buying a huge pizza and a pint. Nobody else notices how weird this is and it sits by the TV to watch the game. Catching your looks, it gives you a friendly wave and gestures to the empty barstools beside it.
Graham looks up momentarily before returning to his work for about half a minute, after which he looks up, brow furrowed, glances at his companions, and then looks over at the moose. He addresses the others while he stares at the moose, "Is that a known side effect of the issues at hand? Or is that something new?"
The moose strolls over on his hind legs and you notice its bald patch, reminiscent of a famous actor you can't quite place. "So, you guys worried about the eternal cold spell? Things aren't going too great, huh? Hey, well, as far as I'm concerned, progress peaked with frozen pizza. Even so, it's nice to be warm - I hear you're looking for a solution to that."

Craig nods silently, mouth full of half cold pizza

Okay, we're going to make a start on this!
I'll post a quick description and then if everyone could introduce their characters, that'd be awesome!

The moose finishes his slice of pizza, just a bog standard margarita, and turns to look at Graham. "That's awfully rude, you know."

*I'm in touch with Alaric, don't worry he told me
Thanks for the heads up though! 😁*

Craig mutters something about the cold as he takes a bite of pizza, likely either about how damn cold it is outside, or how cold the pizza is getting.
