If I am still on time I will like to throw my hat on this one! sounds real interesting:
About the Alliance:
Long before the Enemy appeared a small kingdom managed to thrive in the east. Angiost was a prosper kingdom, whose protectors were as skilled in magic as in the art of swordmanship, masters of an exclusive form of fighting that merged both magic and steel. A nation of elves, with strong ties with Albia, they were the first in raise the alarm when the Enemy began its conquers. They were at Albia's High King side when they started to talk about the Alliance. Unfortunately it was a small territory and its warriors, while powerful, few in number, and it was one of the first kingdoms to feel into the hands of the Enemy. All in the Alliance thought that they were obliterated or captured, but when the Alliance started to fell off, the remants of their army came to fight alongside the forces of Albia. After the Battle of Caermor, the survivors told that, in a desperate effort to save his people the King sacrified himself, defying the Enemy himself to a singular combat while the High Wizards opened a portal to allow his people to escape to safety. The King was lost, but his plan suceeded and the survivors of his realm were able to escape, along with the Queen and the Prince. After the Battle of Caermor, The Queen has sent the Prince along a unit of their Curumahtar ( Wizard-Warriors) to honor their oath to the Alliance and to the High King of Albia. No one, though, knows were the New Angiost lies. It is a secret well kept by all members of Angiost. No one can know that they fled to a island far away from the western coast. They are few in number and the secrecy is key to the survival of their people.
About the Unit:
The Curumahtar ( Elvish form for Wizard-Warrior, its a free merge of the quenya words Curuvar and Mahtar) is an elite unit of light infantry that combines swordplay and magic in a deadly way. Thanks to their magic abilities they are capable of a great range of missions, but excel as a fast strike force, breaking the lines of the enemy with their combinations of sword and sorcery. They carry silvery, light chain mails, and silver elegant elvish swords that flases with the sparks of their spells when they cast their magic. The elegant movements, the neverending dance of their steels when they draw their weapons, make a mesmerazing spectacle that none can forget. Seeing one of them fighting is an awe inspiring sight, seeing the whole unit working in combination as one, is a unforgettable experience. They all are volunteers. They are quite aware that their numbers are few, but they are committed to the campaing against the Enemy, if not for retake their lost territories, to avenge all the elves that died under the Enemy attack and their beloved King.
About the character:
Frenevir Celebhatel is the Prince of Angiost. The Queen didn't want him to join the Alliance, fearing for the future of his eldest son. But after a long night talking with her at the top of the Tower of the Stars in New Angiost, the first edification of the new palace, she said yes, not without sorrow, but with pride. He holds in his heart of hearts the hope that his father is still alive, prisoner of the Enemy, and when he revealed that to his mother, the Queen saw that his son will never be truly able to let it go and be ready to rule their people until he has saw with his own eyes that his father was truly gone and the Enemy was defeated. So, with great fear in her heart, she agreed. She has given to the leutenient of the Curumahtar the task to look over the Prince. Rengalin, the second in command, only could promise to the Queen that she would give advice to Frenevir and, if it was necessary, she will gladly giver her life to protect the Prince, but she could not stand in the way or the orders of the Prince while they were in the front lines. Frenevir is driven to lead his warriors, and he likes to lead by example so he trains and study as much as he can to be as better as he could be. He is serious and focused, but when they are not on a mission he allows his men to relax and share with them songs, drinks and jokes. Still, a shadow of sorrow lingers over him.
I will post this in another one not to have the dreaded banner but... Good Dice Lords... that is the worst ability scores array I've been seen in a looong time!! hahahaha
Hmmmmm. Do you care if I take a standard array rather than this? The 16 isn't worth it to me.
