Fiach is still unconvinced. It is not just her natural caution but given the circumstances and location she remains on edge - slightly behind those speaking. There is nothing to ignite her lack of trust, but then nothing has been said or done that would enable her to trust either.
As the man added pine branches, the flames of the campfire flickered bright, but Tyto was used to being around fire, and wasn't easily dazzled.
"There's no need to be afraid of us", Tyto made a small pause, before turning a bit to the left and adding, a bit louder but still friendly "and certainly no need to sneak away. Show yourself, you have nothing to fear."
The woman who tried to sneak out froze for a second and turned her head to look at Tyto. For a brief second Tyto has looked straight in her wide open eyes filled with fear.
A loud voice comes from the man. "GO! Warn the others!" the woman looks to the back and just starts running like a hunted rabbit. The two men, who are next to the campfire get their weapons. "For her glory!" one of them shouts in encouragement.
Let's roll initiative:
Swan 15
Cerau 7
Katarina 9
Tyto 14
Elmin 23
FIach 12
Woman 8
Man 1 11
Man 2 16

The sudden tension in the air is palpable. Swan's honed combat senses kick in almost immediately, she moves to grab her spear as the woman makes a spear, ready to fight. "Let's try to subdue without killing if possible. We need answers!"
(OMG sorry... my week was intense at work and I did not see the notifications)
As the woman talk, Elmin has a glimpse of the future passing right in front of his eyes. Understanding this will inevitably end into a conflict, he shouts "Cover ! They're fighting us !" He run to take cover behind any rocks is there are and targets the woman who seems to give order. He shouts at her "HALT, now!"
Movement: to cover if possible Action: Mind Sliver on the woman, DC13 Int or 4 point of Psychic damage + subtract 1 from the next saving throw it makes before the end of your next turn.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
'Answers, yes,'Fiach thought, 'but if that woman gets away...'
So, Fiach readies her bow and lets loose an arrow at the fleeing woman. By her reckoning, that would still leave two to interrogate - and better that, than facing reinforcements.
I am so sorry for leaving you without a word. My covid got worse last week and today I am leaving hospital. I will make a post asap. Sorry for the delay...

OOC Hi... Thank you for your encouragement. I am still with 24h care but at home and was able to get my hands on my phone again ;) I'm getting better every day but it will take some time... I got through 4 infections but the 5th one was the hardest (but it looks I am harder after all ;)). My word of advise - take your vaccines if you have any other health problems. I have a thing with my heart and most likely this is why it got so bad.
@Tyto: 11 - thanks ;)
Back to the game... We are in a bit of a mess of a situation so let me clarify a thing or two.
The man #1 and man #2 are next to the fire and it was man #1 who was giving orders and doing all the talking.
The woman tried to use the height difference and to sneak out of the camp to the left (from your point of view). After she was spoted by Tyto, she got up and she has started to run like hell.
Possible entrance to the cave is to your right. A long slope of loose rocks of different size (difficult terrain for sure). It's angled about 45 degrees and getting through about 45 feet of it's length would get you to the entrance to the camping place. If anything else is unsure, please ask me.
@_Grimnir_ It was the man #1 giving orders and doing all the talking so I will assume you attacked him. if otherwise, please let me know.
Elminspeaks a words of the cantrip and for a split second he can see a faint mist, just like a breath on a very cold day, leaving his mouth that almost at the same time rushes towards the figure lit by the fire.
Spell save 13 (needs 13 to succeed).
Man #2 picks up his crude axe and moves behind his buddy. For now he has noone within the range and definitely looks to his friend to do the thinking.
As Swangets her spear ready, Fiach spots the woman who dashes into the night. She takes her bow and with one swift motions she puts the arrow, draws the bow and as soon as the tension is strong enough, she lets the arrow loose. The arrow hits the woman's thigh. She loses her balance and falls out of the ledge and lands on the rocky bottom (and takes additional 8 bludgeoning dmg).
@Worldwind - I need Tyto's action before I continue.

"There's no need for ANY fighting." he exclaims in a loud and rumbling, yet calm, voice. "This is obviously a terrible misunderstanding. We're on the same side, don't you see that?"
As the man hears Tytos voice, shakes his head as he feels the magic trying to influence his mind. "No, your magic will not work on us! She protects us!" he shouts with clear joy and ecstatic tone in his voice. He takes a step back and pulling a simple sword out of the scabbard. "Come on! Don't be afraid..." he taunts you. His friend holds his axe and looks at the shouting man.
OCC - now Katarina and Chloe. After that, a new round starts with Elmin.

OCC - There is one thing missing about Katarina's action and it was using her Feline Agility. We have talked about this with Mr Whisker off top to figure out how she was able to get to the man.
Katarina hisses in anger and she runs towards the rocks. She grabs a rock sticking out of the wall and pulls up swiftly. Her feet almost without ane effort find places where she can push up and momentarily she ends up crouching on the edge of the rocky shelf.
With a loud growl that reminds you a sound of a torn cloth she swings her axe at the surprised man.
"Protect me..." he whispers with his eyes wide open as the blade smashes into his chest throwing him to the ground with a gaping wound.
At the same moment as she takes her swing a shadowy tendrils rise up from the ground twisting and probing the surroundings.

The other man terrified, with his eyes opened wide, drops the axe tries to get back to the wall as fast as possible and only by some miracle, the tendril misses him entirely.
"No... Get away from me you demon!" he shouts histericaly at Katarina as she hisses at him showing her sharp fangs.
He crawls in the corner and cries...
OOC if anyone wants to attack him at this moment, you may do so wit adv. (Once you get up there ;))
OOC2 to be precise, it looks like the combat has ended...
Katarina, having utterly obliterated one of the opponents and seeing the other surrender, decides to take pity on the survivor... sort of. As her rage fades, she approaches the man and hauls him to his feet.
"Katarina does not like when people try to trick her," she whispers in his ear, running a single claw across his throat. "Now she thinks it's time for you to have a nice chat with Katarina and her friends... who did you send the poor lady to warn? And why did you at once want to get your friends to come do bad things to Katarina and her friends? Katarina didn't want to hurt anyone until they tried to sneak off like a pack of thieves..."

Swan moves to Katarina's side, her spear in her hand but pointed down, ready to strike if the man turns hostile again. She studies the terrified man's face, noting his sheer terror. Despite their hostility, her heart still harbors some compassion. She says, her voice is stern but not unkind. "We don't want to harm you, but we need to know what's happening here. Who is this 'she' you've been talking about? What secrets are you hiding?"
