(OOC: I don't know whether we're heading into a big battle or just some quiet exploring, so I'll leave it up to Sonic111 to decide whether to slow things down a bit while we wait for Gyg, Brecon, and Fluffy to catch up. But unless there's a change of plans, here's next steps for Ixsas...)
Ixsas waits while the others climb trees and/or hide. I guess the warlocks are always a little independent since they can fly. If Grecon uses the One with Shadows invocation to become invisible in the shadows under the trees, Ixsas looks surprised and then thoughtful.
While he waits, Ixsas just stands on the ground well back from the treeline, holding his spear in both hands and focusing on his breathing as Master Jashin always taught. You are nothing without breath. Focus on your breath, and let yourself become nothing.
Once everyone else is hidden and ready, Ixsas looks across to the shadowy alcove under the roof of the shrine. This long-practiced skill no longer takes the effort and focus that it did when he first learned it. In seconds, the shadows seem to gather around him like tangible things, clinging to him. He starts to step, and the shadows suddenly envelop him like a cloak, and he's gone. Leaving just regular shadows again. You look to the shrine and see that he has reappeared there, standing in the shadowy space under the shrine's roof.
(OOC: In the future, I'll just say that he shadow steps from x to y, but it's fun to give it a little flair the first time the party sees it.)

Noxus can't help but stare in pure wonder and amazement. He wispers to ix in a Amazed Tone, "With the ability to BECOME a shadow, it would make assassinations a lot easier!"
Presumably, that's later, since Noxus is in a tree, and Ixsas is now in the shrine? If you say something later, Ixsas gives a serious reply (of course!), "Well, it isn't becoming a shadow exactly. More like the ability to feel the connection that all shadows have to the Shadowfell. At short distances, I can see in my mind's eye the path," he looks intently ahead of him, seeming to look far into the distance, and makes a sharp gesture forward with his hand, fingers straight, "through the Shadowfell, from one shadow to another."
Then his attention comes back to you and the world around him. Friendly but still serious, he says, "But, you're not wrong. I first learned this Way at a monastery that trained assassins. Killers for hire with no purpose of their own. I was fortunate to be allowed to leave, to come to the Feywild and meet Master Jashin."

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
OOC: you know, you guys actually didn't need to roll stuff to hoide in the trees, but alright.
Jashin then says, "Everyone, when you see my signal when the Warden comes, attack."
With that, Jashin then disappears in the shrubbery near the edge of the circle.
It is Night. a hour has passed before you then begin to see the light of torches coming. You suddenly see as four hobgoblins with another person leading the group come into the circular opening. The figure is wearing what seems to be a metal chest plate and helmet that covers his face. A Yklwa in his hand, a spear on his back, and what seems to be a shortsword on his waist, you can tell that this man is the leader, but whether he is the Warden is still to be explained. You then hear the man say in a muffled voice underneath his helmet, "Where is that blasted goblin. He should be here already."
Suddenly, you all see the Commander Hobgoblin, or who's name is Oswold, burst from the foliage, sweat beading down his face, and you hear him bow down breathlessly towards the armored man, and said, "I am sorry, my liege! Forgive me!"
The armored man scoffs, and asks, "Did you find what you were looking for?"
The Hobgoblin reluctantly says, "No. My platoon ran into The Seeker and some of his crew. The legends about his are true, my liege!"
The armored stranger then shakes his head lightly, and says, "And you did not know that The Seeker existed before? Ha! You truly are more naive then I thought!"
Suddenly, Jashin steps out of the foliage, saying, "And the Seeker is here as well!"
However, you all notice that he is holding his hands up as if surrending, and you all take this as a sign not to attack yet, and the armored stranger then points his Yklwa at Jashin and says, "So, we meet, Seeker. I am honored. I am the Warden, and would most surely not wish to do battle with you."
Jashin then responds, "Why were you and you're men ruthlessly attacking a defenseless village? And what are you doing allying with Goblins? If you were truly a member of the Great Feywild, then you would have been brought up hating such beasts!"
The Armored figure then says, "Some measures are necessary to gain what we want and need, Seeker."
Jashin nods, and says, "Well, I aim to stop your schemes."
Jashin suddenly draws out his Longsword, and shouts in Elvish
Piercer of the Heavens, Shine your Flame!
Suddenly, the blade of his longsword becomes enveloped in a blue flame, and you all take this as Jashin's signal

(OOC: Oh, OK. I thought that once the others had joined, you'd describe what Ixsas saw in the shrine. He would search it for secret compartments or messages and check that no one else was nearby. Then he'd give the all clear for the others to come out of hiding and join him. But I guess you're saying that there's definitely nothing to find in the shrine. So, after he's done checking the shrine, Ixsas would have shadow stepped back into the cover of the trees to wait with the rest of the party. If the plan was to wait and set an ambush, he would have left the cover of the bushes as soon as it was dim enough in the clearing. Thus, this would have happened earlier...)
Ixsas said, "Master Jashin, If we expect the goblins to meet in the clearing, I should go wait near the shrine so that I can hear what they say. Do not worry. I have progressed far enough in the Way of Shadow now that I do not need the cover of the trees to avoid being seen at night."
"Noxus, you spoke before of 'becoming a shadow.' I do not know exactly what you meant, but maybe it was more like this. We call it the cloak of shadows." He stands again in the dim light under the trees. This ability seems to take more concentration from him. This time, it is less like the shadows are becoming thicker around Ixsas and more like the dim lighting is somehow no longer able to illuminate his body. It's barely perceptible at first, but the light just on Ixsas seems to fade to darkness. Within seconds, you cannot see him, not even with your Darkvision. You hear his voice nearby say, "Master Jashin, if the enemy approaches, I will get close to them but on the opposite side of the clearing from here so that we have them on both sides. I will listen to what they say, but I will be ready with my spear if you give the signal to attack."
You see some of the low branches bend as he moves past them and out into the clearing again.

Are they all clustered together in the middle of the clearing? Or spread out in some way?
And did these 6 come alone? Or did we see or hear any signs of a larger troop of goblins who didn't enter the clearing with the others?)

The Warden chuckles at Jashin, and says, "Oh, you have no idea what you are dealing with, 'Seeker"
Suddenly, shoots his other hand forward, and shouts, "To hell with you!"
A beam of white light shoots out from his hand, heading towards Jashin with a speed that he could not possibly dodge or block it in time. Suddenly, both Brecon and Gygerax shoot from the trees, and Brecon collides with the beam in a attempt to stop the beam, but it shoots right through his chest, and Gygerax shoots out from behind Brecon in another attempt to stop the beam from hitting Jashin, but this one drills into the faerie dragon, but managed to stop the beam. Jashin shouts in horror, "Brecon! Gygerax! No!"
Jashin suddenly looks at The Warden with fury, and shouts, "You're going to pay for that!"

He shouts, "I kill in darkness!", so that the rest of the party knows that it's his spell and hopefully to panic the hobgoblins.

He is careful to stop before the darkness covers Jashin. If possible, he'll also leave the warden outside the area of effect so that the others have a clear shot at him. Ixsas remains ready to strike with his spear on his reaction if he gets any opportunity attacks as a hobgoblin tries to pass him in the darkness.
