"That was quick,"Bridgette says with a chuckle, before walking up to the man she assumes to be Jashin and sticks her hand out in greeting. "Monk Jashin, I assume? My master informed me that you were in a bit of a rough spot and wanted me to lend you a hand."

Once the Warden and Commander vanish, Ixsas checks that his Master Jashin is OK. He says, "I'll check for any other enemies in the area."
Ixsas is dressed in dark greens, browns, and blacks, and he carries a long spear in one hand. His boots appear to have little wings on them that flap as he begins to run through the air at a tremendous pace. He flies around the clearing in a spiral, maybe 12 ft above the ground, widening out until he circles just at the edge of the clearing and the treeline. Then he slows down a little as he flies first 10' feet into the surrounding forest and then 30' into the forest, circling the whole clearing twice. He's looking for any other enemies or any signs or gear that they may have left behind. (Perception17 Even though it's now night, I'm not rolling the perception check with disadvantage since Ixsas has Devil's Sight, "the ability to see normally in darkness, both magical and nonmagical, to a distance of 120 ft.")
Once done scouting, Ixsas returns to the group and reports what he found to Jashin. (I assume that Mithrellan and Fluffly have recovered from their Fear and returned to the clearing by now. Otherwise, he volunteers to go look for them.)
Ixsas then introduces himself to both Bridgett and Nolan: "Hello, I am Ixsas. I am a yuan-ti, but I guess my heritage is sa little more clear on my face sthan with many of my kind. I have been training with Master Jashin now for over 10 years, off-and-on, though I follow a different Way. We have been exspecting that war would come to the Feywild eventually. You have come to join Master Jashin in this fight?" You notice that Ixsas speaks with a slight lisp. His yuan-ti heritage is clearly visible in his bright orange-red eyes, the bright green scales on his face and head, and his flattened nose. It's a little hard to read his age with his scaly skin, but you'd guess something between 20 and 40 years old.
Then Ixsas helps gather the bodies of their dead allies and prepare them in whatever way Jashin directs. He felt a connection to Gyg since they were both scaley. Does Ixsas see the "blue pearl" that he saw Gyg playing with in the village?
(Sonic111 - Is any of Brecon's or Gyg's gear intact after the Warden's spell? Ixsas doesn't know the proper burial rights for fairies and faerie dragons, but I assume that the group would not bury their healing potions or Brecon's robe of summer or Gyg's mantle of spell resistance with their bodies.)
Finally, Ixsas helps the others search the dead hobgoblins to see whether there are any clues about the enemy's army among their gear. (Investigation7)
No, we do not bury any of their healing potions or magical items. Also, due to your perception check, Ixsas actually sees what seems to be a woman that seems to be lurking some where far off, her hair flowing in the air, and her eyes giving a ominous blue glow, but she disappears the moment you see her. You also manage to find two more healing potions among the dead hobgoblins.

Ixsas, of course, reports what he saw to Master Jashin.
You also manage to find two more healing potions among the dead hobgoblins.
I guess that makes six total, so we could distribute an additional healing potion to each member of the party.
"Good to meet you," Bridgette says with a smile to Ixsas. "Yes, I certainly am... my master once knew Jashin and sent me to help him out in whatever way I could. I don't know if Jashin remembers a wizard named Akkron, but my master still remembers Jashin. He would probably have come himself, but he knew that most places wouldn't take too kindly to seeing one of his kind."

Bridgette suddenly realizes that she may have said more than she should have regarding her master... but she can't stop now.
"The life he lead after you parted ways was not a happy one..."the half-orc says carefully, a slightly pained expression on her face. "I don't know all the details, but someone very dear to him was taken by the hands of dark elves several centuries ago when he was still..."
She trails off, then sighs before continuing.
"Well, he's probably about as well as anyone in his condition could be. But the years have worn him down a lot... sometimes I worry that I'll come back from one of these expeditions and find my master reduced to so much dust."

Jashin nodded, and replied, "May he be in good health, but everything dies. Death is the only treasure that we all share."
Jashin then looks at the graves that they had dug for the two spellcastors, and after we've finished burying them, Jashin takes the potions of healing and hands out the 4 for whoever wnats them, ut keeps the blue pearl. However, as to honor them, Jashin hangs magical Mantle and Robe of Summer on each of their grave markers, and says a prayer to the goddess of the sun before saying, "We must set off, we've spent enough time here. I know somewhere we can go."
Bridgette just nods. She isn't sure how the monk will react if he finds out what really became of his old friend. She just hopes that he will understand what drove the old mage to do what he did.
She takes a moment to say a prayer for the departed and accepts one of the potions of healing.

Jashin holds up the blue pearl, before pocketing it, and saying, "We must go West, to the center of the Feywild. Perhaps the king may know of something to do with this."

After the short rest, Jashin then then takes the party deeper into the heart of the Feywild. The journey is long and hard, and after about 4 hours of hard walking, the party takes a break by a creek. Take this time to converse or go through your equipment.
Right before the Short Rest, Bridgette would like to cast Death Ward on her three newfound companions with her pact slots as a precaution. And then she'll take her rest and get her spell slots back.

As the rest comes to a rest, the party then begins trudging on. It is night, now. Jashin had been guiding the party with his darkvision, but even he was tired. Jashin stopped the party, and looked up at the full moon above, and said, "We have about another day to get to our estination. However, we should maybe take a rest." Jashin then sits down and keeps watch, while anyone who wants to take a long rest may take one.

Having travelled with elves before, Ixsas is aware that they don't really sleep and only need to rest in a meditative trance for 4 hours / night. He thinks that it's lucky that the party has 3 elves, since they should be able to get enough rest and still have at least 1 elf on watch duty through an 8 hour long rest.
But Ixsas is happy to take a shift on watch just to be fair. Like Bridgette, he has Devil's Sight and can see normally in magical and non-magical darkness out to 120 ft., so he could take a watch shift in the middle of the night.

"Thank you, Brigette," Jashin says, "But we have much more pressing matters to attend to."
Jashin then walks over to the bodies of the two previous spellcastors, and says, "We can't simply leave them here to be folly for the carrion birds."
