"Eat my hammer, slackers!"
Realgâr yells a war cry in dwarvish and charges for the *closest* ruffian. Making a gutteral yell the whole way, he swings at his midsection with his warhammer!

Kres - Aarakocra Monk - Level 1 - Lost Mines of Phandelver
There is a bonecrushing CRUNCH as Realgâr's hammer smacks into the side of the ruffian with a melted face. He drops to the ground. (Ruffian #1: defeated, 20 damage)
Kres then runs in with a mean combo of strikes. While the panicked ruffian manages to block the frist strike of the staff, the flurry after that drop her, too. (Ruffian #2: defeated, 13 damage.)
INITIATIVE: ROUND 2

Ruffian #3 (uninjured)

Randaler feels inspired by the successful attacks of his companions and from Koko's blessings. He takes careful aim at the final ruffian...
Sharpshooter:
Before you make an attack with a ranged weapon that you are proficient with, you can choose to take a -5 penalty to the attack roll. If the attack hits, you add +10 to the attack's damage.

Randaler looks at the dead Ruffian with the arrow through him, then turns to Koko, blushing slightly... "Uh... um... did I do that? Thanks for your... whatever it was. I truly felt inspired."
He then enters the room with the other to begin searching for clues. Perception check: 18
Checkiung the room there appears to be some more barrels like those outside of the room. On the persons of the three ruffians appear to be some money pouches. Hung up in the room appear to be three tatty scarlet coloured cloaks.
As Randelar takes out the two bottles, the red liquid glimmers with a familiar glow; that of a potion of healing that they have used only a day beforehand.
The second bottle, while appearing empty, seems to shift its weight as if it were filled with a liquid, though there appears to be none in there.
Realgâr says, "Ha! Redbrands. What a joke. Those goblins back in the cave put up a better fight. Good job everyone."
"The clothes, I cannot say."
Do they have any symbols or markings on them? Realgâr is keeping an eye out for Sildar's friend or evidence of him. As well anything that will link the Redbrands to the Townsmaster.

There doesn't appear to be any iconography of note. Rummaging on the bodies one of them has a tattoo on his wrist, but it doesn't seem to be of any cult or group anyone knows of.
Realgâr would have gone through the pouches of the guy he killed. He is not too interested in gold, being more on the lookout for his two reasons mentioned earlier, but he does take anything of value off these ruffians since they stole from the townsfolk.

Realgâr opens the next door. Thick dust covers the flagstones of this somber hallway. The walls are decorated with faux columns every ten feet, and the double doors at the west end of the hall are sheathed in copper plate, now green with age. A relief carving of a mournful angel graces the doors.

Scenario: That one guy's screwed...

Attack Roll: (1d20 + 7 - 5 + 1d4) Damage: 1d8 + 3 + 10
Attack: 5 Damage: 15

OOC: Above attack roll should have been +2 not -2, so actually 23 to hit not 19...

OOC: the damage roll is also slightly off... :)

(As Necmo mentioned, the damage bonus isn't doubled with a critical, but regardless it is enough.)
The third ruffian gets knocked back by a high powered bowshot into their chest, collapsing to the ground.

(You each gain 60 xp!)
Randaler takes the opportunity to more fully examine the contents of the satchel he found in the other room.
He hands the potion bottle with red liquid inside and the empty potion bottle to Chad. "This is your area of expertise, what do you make of these?"
Looking at the travelling clothes, he says to the group "Do these clothes look familiar to anyone? I wonder who they belong to..."

Realgâr takes one pouch, while Kres takes the other two.
Realgâr:
Your pouch has fifteen electrum pieces (15 EP) and two small red gems you discern as garnets.
Kres:
The first pouch has 7 GP and 16 SP in it.
The second pouch has 5 GP and 12 SP in it.
While looking through the possessions, Randaler also takes note of the amount of coins that are in the satchel he found.

Realgâr pockets the valuables for the group to go through later.
He says after the fight, "Right ladies and lads, let's press on. Wouldn't be surprised if they know we're here now."
He moves to the next door and when everyone is ready, he opens it.
