Seeing that Kres is comfortable at the reigns, Randaler begins scouting ahead where the tracks lead (along with Mary if the previous post is still accurate).
The horses seem to be willing to go off the trail as the group gets around the carriage and starts to follow along the tracks.
The tracks seem simple enough to follow to the adventurer's trained eye. However, after about 10 minutes of travelling, Randaler spots up ahead that there have been a couple of traps slightly concealed in the foliage along the trail. It appears that someone has placed snare traps on the ground along the goblin's tracks.
Chad conjures his mage hand and sends over to the snare. As the hand touches down on it with a decent amount of pressure as the snare lashes up, grabbing the hand and holding it aloft, 10 feet in the air.
”let’s tie up the horses and head out on foot. This path seems a little to small for everything.” As I’m talking, my mage hand triggers the last trap. I throw open my officially licensed and stolen Jim Darkmagic cloak and holster my wand on my belt.
The horses are tethered to a nearby tree as the party progresses without the cart. They spend around another 10 minutes to travelling and see up ahead there is another anomaly in the forest; part of the trail has a suspicious amount of leaves placed over the area.

Randaler continues to scout ahead tracking the group that made off with the two who were on horseback. Using his honed senses in wooded areas he tries to see if he can determine their number, and how long ago they passed this way.
Randaler scouts out the area near the trap. The most recent tracks reveal that eight goblins have come this way with the two drag marks; two dragging each track, and four travelling with them. It may about a half day since these tracks were made.
Mary takes a rock and tosses it onto the pile of leaves. It rolls across harmlessly and stops after a short distance.
Randaler has a look of fear and horror wash over his face as he sees the pile of leaves go up in flames, and he watches a billowing plume of smoke rise up into the air.
"Wizards...ugh" he mumbles under his breath as he rushes over to the blaze and begins to throw dirt on it to put of the fire before before it sets the whole forest on fire.

"Name's Randaler... But my friends call me Rand."
He then sprints ahead following the tracks.

"Alright Rand, let's go!" Mary quips with an amused smile at the suddenly very active man dashing towards her from behind.
"You may call me Kres, it is a pleasure to meet you Rand."
Kres says before Rand sprints off, he will lead the hourse up the path on the way to the goblins.

Having said that he scouts around off the path to either side looking for any other signs of danger.

"Why don't we just walk around them?" Mary says as she walks around them.

I look over at Mary, “pffffft! Watch this.....” I cast mage hand and trigger both traps as we come to them.

Kres watches as the snare is set off, he brings the horses to a stop.
"Maybe we should leave the horses here, we do not want one of them getting caught in a snare."

It appears that now that the snare has been triggered, it is seemingly harmless, dangling 10 feet from the ground by a tree branch.
Mary giggles as she turns around and continues along the path.

Kres will get down from the cart, he ties the horses to a nearby tree and prepares to head up the path on foot.

"Probably another trap," Mary says as she tries to find a small object like a rock or a branch and chucks it onto the pile of leaves.

“Rocks are for barbarians.” I pull out my wand and shoot a fire bolt into the leaves pile. The tip of my wand glows purple as I holster my wand again.
