It appears to have fainted.

Chad will squat down in front of the goblin and give him a slap to see if that wakes him up. 

If it does, he'll talk to the goblin in goblin. "Hey, little buddy. I'm Chadwick. We're your friends now. We killed your other friends. They weren't very nice to us when we came to see you. What are you even doing here? Do you live here? What do you know of this place? I bet you like magic, huh?" Chad holds out his hand, palm up, and make sparks shoot up like a fountain firework.  

As Chad tries to wake the fainted Goblin, Randaler searches the room to if there is anythgin of interest, anything of value (including on the bugbears), or anythign that would give them an idea of who or what is behind the red cloaked gang of thugs.

Perception check: 18

Chad takes a few minutes, but eventually manages to awaken the goblin. It blinks a couple of times, taking in the scene. "AAAH! Please don'ts kill Droop!" it grovels in goblin. "Droops promise nots to do anything!"

Meanwhile Randaler sets about looting the room and the bugbears. One of the bugbears appears to be wearing an eyepatch. It is made of blackened leather and has a few gems encrusted in it, and upon its belt is a pouch holding 33 silver pieces. Also searching over the bugbear, there is a piece of leather cord which has an iron key attached to it around the neck of said bugbear and tucked beneath its clothing.

"What did he say Chad?" Koko asks. She still holds on to her crossbow. Just in case  

I tell Koko that he said we're going to be friends. I turn back to the goblin and continue in goblin. "Why are you here and who are these ugly hairy bastards we just killed? Are they with you? You better tell me the truth. I'm a very powerful wizard and I will not hesitate to turn you into a rodent." 

OOC: Been out of town all weekend at a convention.

"Gah! Noes!" The goblin squirms, crawling into a corner. "Droop didn'st do anything. Big bugbears made us dance, then they points and laughs ats Droops." 

Continuing in goblin: "What do you know of this place? Do you know how to get around? Who is in charge and where can they be found?"

Randaler grabs the coin pouch, eye patch, and key from the bugbears. Holding up the key he says to Chad. "Ask him what this key opens." He then reexamines the room and the doors looking for something the key might fit.

Chad points to the set of keys Randaler is holding. "And what do those go to? You better not be lying either my goblin friend. The ranger there is not of the happy sort."

"Ah, I'm nots!" The goblin pleads, literally crying at this point. "Big bad bug bears has key to doors in here. Works on alls of them." He grovels at Chad's feet. "Please not hurts Droop. Droop can bes helpful, promise!"

"Alright alright, my little goblin friend. Explain to Chad how you can be useful" Chad continues. "Like I asked earlier, what do you know of this place? Do you know how to get around? Who is in charge and where can they be found?"

"Yes, yes, Droop knows the ways around!" Droop seems more excited that he's not being bullied right now (or executed). "Big bad bug bear's boss be in room probs." He points to the key. "Keys gets its in. Droops can show you if yous don't hurts him."

"No funny business or I'll set you on magic fire, which is worse than normal fire." I cast prestidigitation in the palm of my hand making a small green flame. "See how powerful I am? Now let's go and you lead the way."

Randaler looks at Chad and the goblin, and says in a flat voice... "Haven't we been down this road before with a goblin leading us into a bigger mess? I don’t know about you guys, but I could use a rest and some healing. Our previous rest was interrupted, and we got pretty banged up again in this last scuffle." He then looks for a place to sit down to take a breather and tens to his wounds.

"Yeah, Yeemik did turn out to be kind of an *******, but you never know. This one may be OK. Maybe he can keep watch at the door while we rest for a moment."

I turn to the goblin and talk to him in goblin. "Listen here trash gnome. Your people ****ed me over once already. I'm not in the mood to take it a second time. I soon just kill you and feed you to the wolves. But then again, you may be useful. You're going to keep watch for a little while. During that time, know I WILL be watching you. A hair out of place and I'll turn you to ash. Then you're going to take us to the boss. Got it?!"

(OOC: I cant benefit any from a short rest myself. I'm all tapped out.)

"Yes a longer rest will be more beneficial to us." Koko puts away her crossbow. "I'm currently out of juice myself. Hopefully that goblin will be a good lad and help us out and guard"

(Well you have a key to lock the door to the room you're in now...)

"Yes, yes. Droop will do as asks." The goblin nods, seemingly terrified and alleviated at the same time. "Human boss Glasstaff of big bad bug bears nevers come this ways. Droop saws where he wasses once."

Also I assume you will each be taking a watch during a long rest, so you can decide a watch rota amongst yourselves.

Randaler looks around at his spent and tired looking companions. "Let's try to get some shut eye and recouperate a little before we move forward. Chad, although I am sure your new little friend is 'completely trustworthy'  I will still take the first watch to keep on eye on him keeping an eye on us." He then goes around the room locking and/or barring all of the doors to try to keep out as many baddies as possible.
