The satyr child shakes his head. "That wasn't smart. Let's try the fish." He grabs the fish's tail, bringing it over to the altar and placing it there carefully after brushing off the maggot ashes with his other hand. He gets out the flint and steel from his pocket and uses some of the driest rotting kelp available as tinder to light the fish on fire.
The aroma of fresh rain and sweetgrass fills the air as the smoke rises from the burning salmon. As the blood spills upon the altar, dripping down to the cobblestones below, a trail of blue runes lights up underneath. [προχώρησε, ήρωα] A lound clink sounds, and a panel opens up in the floor, a staircase leading downwards. Torches alit with green fire light the way down.

Khaira gingerly caresses the statue. "I am sorry for my failures and the disrespect of one of our crew. I promise to make it up to you in my morning prayers tomorrow."
The stairs lead down into a chilly corridor. It’s extremely humid, to the point where the water in the air is almost tangible. The satyr is the first to go down- they step into what looks to be… a forge. It’s a large cavern with a hint of light from a crack in the ceiling. You aren’t really sure how that’s possible- after all, you’re still under the sea.
In the center is a large circle with ancient runes, a dialect of Common that is far too old to understand. A massive pillar with an indent shaped like Δ lies in front of the circle.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"Holy Hephaestus, it's a forge!" The satyr child squeals. "Whoa..." He and his copper goat run into the room, laughing and checking everything out. He pokes and prods at things, looking to see in what state the forge is in, if there are any tools, unfinished projects, etc.
