Jimvor is student but not a young gnome. Now in his 90's, he came from the Vrekebo family - a wealthy family from the city of (Insert City). First class student in medecine, Jimvor was quite renown in his hometown and work in the Temple of Naralis Analor - The Healer & Watcher of the Souls - to heal the wounded. But the black plague proved to him that his skills were not enough, hundred died in a few weeks including his father. He decided that the common healing and the divine one were not enough, that he should learn more about the healing process. He started to read treaties about other methods and the arcane art and how necromancy can bring back to life what was dead and extend the life of common mortals. Then, one night he made his decision: he will join the most prestigious wizardry university on Weskeilia and learn everything that can be learned about Necromancy.

He use some of his inheritance to pay his "entrance fee" to the current Keeper of the Observatory, Cylic Ferdeth. "Jim" has now been here for three month and helps from time to time at the infirmary of the academy.

Sometimes power and position can be quite useful.  Togar grew up in a prominent family that developed the finest and most well know woven rugs and textiles in all of Weskeilia.  Their rugs were known far and wide, some even having magical properties.  Togar never has an interest in the textile industry or in business, but he did have an interest in magic and read voraciously about the subject.  To take his skills to the next level, his parents Pengo and Pruscilla leveraged a meeting with the keeper of the Thearrothen Observatory, Cylic Ferdeth.  A large donation to their facility was arranged to make sure that their son Togar would be accepted among the current class of students.  “Put our name on a little plaque in the library..” they said, “but please, take our son, this is all that he dreams of.”  Togar was not told about the donation, but he is thrilled to further his studies in the arcane arts with a concentration in conjuration.
