Rena Brightstar Race: Human Class: Wizard Background: Mage of High Sorcery - Solinari
Rena's family hails from the southern region of Solamnia, specifically the port city of Caergoth. Growing up, Rena excelled at most anything she put her mind to - there simply weren't many things she cared enough about to do so. This changed when her parents curried the favor of a local mage of the Order of the White Robes by the name of a Kelmi, a middle-aged woman who was eager to have such a talented student. Before she settled in Caergoth, it turned out that Kelmi had a bit of adventurous phase, and she often received her former companions as guests.
One of these former companions was Ispin Greenshield, who out of all, Rena always looked forward to seeing the most. His talent for retelling their adventures was unparalleled, and spurned the budding mage to seek adventures of her own. This lead her to sneaking off as Ispin left to go another adventure, secretly following him with the intent of joining his company.
Instead, Rena found herself lost in the wilderness, and stumbling into a place not tread for many years. She had an encounter with a legendary creature that changed her forever, and might have ended in her death had Ispin not arrived in the nick of time. Shaken, she allowed the adventurer to return her to Caergoth, where she continued her studies.

Name: Nohowmonteyfaractoriss (or Nohow to non Gnomes) Race: Tinker Gnome Class: Artificer Background: City Watch Investigator Backstory:
Nohowmonteyfaractoriss, or Nohow, is a middle aged (for a Gnome) Tinker Gnome from Mount Nevermind who never quite fit in with the rest of his kind. The reason for this was that his inventions tended not to be overcomplicated and had a high percentage chance of success. Due to this, both himself and his kin decided he must be mad, and he determined not to invent again. To escape the shame, he travelled away from the island of Sancrist, eventually ending up in Solamnia due to the fact he spoke the language.
Whilst in Palanthas he happened to be a witness to a portion of a rather elaborate robbery, and volunteered to help the watch solve the crime. He was subsequently offered a permanent job as a Watch Investigator and has been in the job ever since. It was whilst here he met Ispin Greenshield, who had heard tale of a Tinker Gnome in the city and had need of his services. After much persuasion, Nohow agreed to help him by fixing a Gnomish device that he had found on one of his adventures. This reignited his passion for invention, and he started to create things once again.
They became friends, with Ispin Greenshield relying on him when in Palanthas for fixing his gear and helping him plan for his many adventures. Never one to travel much these days, he was saddened by the passing of Ispin Greenshield, and determined to make the journey to Vogler to attend the funeral.

Arokas Nightshade descends from a powerful sorcerer family, the Nightshades. Arokas’ father, the elf Silas Nighshade, was one of the most well known and powerful members of the family. Because of his pride, Silas wanted his son to become a sorcerer as well, no matter what it took. He hurt Aro, punishing him and traumatizing him for years in order to try and bring out the magic.
Eventually, this succeeded. When getting beaten by his father one night, Arokas exploded with magical force. This force blew his father back against a wall with such force it killed him. Horrified, Arokas’ family covered the incident up as a dreadful accident. Arokas felt horrible and couldn’t stand to face his family, who blamed him for killing one of the most powerful members of the family.
Since the incident, Arokas ran away from home, fleeing the memories and horror he faced there. He has mostly pushed back people, worried that he would hurt them, or worse, become like his father. Ispin Greenshield found him one night, shivering in the cold night. Ispin bought Arokas a night at an inn, and eventually drew out Arokas’ story from him, and wanted to help Arokas however he could. Ispin encouraged Arokas to get up from his misery and start a life of adventuring, showing him compassion and how there was still good in the world.. He also said introduced Arokas to poetry, which helps calm him down whenever he gets sucked into his memories. Arokas would consider Ispin to be his only friend.
After hearing news of his death, Arokas goes to Ispin’s funeral to pay his respects and try to figure out what he’s going to do next. Arokas is nervous, though as he has a secret he never told Ispin: the spirit of his father haunts him. Arokas wants to find a new job in order to take his mind off of his misery and the spirits that torments him.
If there is a spot, already, I would go with a classic Dwarf, Barbarian, BG Soldier. He was commander of a battalion in his tribe. While he was away in a battle, his little brother, who did not wanted to follow the military path, has a divine experience, runs away from family and friends and travels with a group of monks When he returns, Ivan decides to resign from his post and goes looking for his brother. He is soft-spoken, prefers wine to beer (he learned to make his own wine), and is quite polite. He is fair and honorable, but he does not deny a good fight.
At first glance, Ander's your almost standard drunken guy at the bar, who likes to gamble away his earnings on a bad night, taking people's earning on a good night with a lot of brawling before or afterward. And that would be true. He's smart enough to know he should has some worry about his future but that's for future him to worry about while present him lives in the present.

With a heavy heart, Neil packed up his belongings and set out towards Vogler.
