The more Narrakas saw the shaken and off-balance, the more embolden the goblin became by the moment! "Made promise to chew you to death! But... Narrakas makes exception!" He lunges at the troll with a wild sweep of his own for the creature's lower bits. But even if it proves not enough, the goblin only throws himself more into the troll, sharp teeth ripping and tearing at whatever they can before he darts back and falls into a defensive posture once more.

(@CF: Forgot to make corrections for the crit calc. Since the 1st number in the sequence is only a 1, he'd dealt a mighty 2 bludgeoning damage, (or 6 if again rage is being included) plus 2 fire damage, plus whatever the weakness bonus damage would be. And against better judgement, even if it means re-rolling damage, gonna spend the remaining hero point to re-roll his 2nd attack if possible. See spoiler for results if applicable.)

The troll, staggering from the regeneration countering flames, moves enough that Eldon's projectiles glance off it with no further harm. It snorts and brandishes its club at the fire wielding goblin again:
Strike 1: 9 if hit: damage: 5, plus Narrakas knocked back 10 feet.
Strike 2: If strike 1 unsuccessful then against Narrakas, if strike 1 successful, then against the Orc Ranger: 15 damage 10 plus target knocked back 10 feet.
Strike 3: If Orc not knocked back in Strike 2, Troll will lash out with its claw at the Orc (even if both 1&2 were against Narrakas): 21 - damage if successful: 16 slashing. If both foes knocked back in 1&2, Troll will stride towards the orc (away from the torch).

The blow sends Narrakas flying backward as he crumples to the ground unconscious. It then lashes out hurling the Orc Ranger the other direction. The troll stalks after the Ranger who remains standing - barely.
Suddenly, there is a blinding flash and heat obscuring the troll.

This Mug immediately shared with me a transcendental tale of an Infinite Mug that anchors the Universe and keeps it from folding in on itself. I filed this report under "illogical nonsense" and asked why its sign is in Times New Roman font, when it is basic knowledge that Arial Black is a far superior font. I wondered: How did this mug even get past the assembly line with its theistic beliefs and poor font choices?

As the troll begins to stalk toward the Orc Ranger, it is suddenly surrounded in a sphere of fire.
Eldon sees this from afar, then suddenly all goes black as he falls limp to the ground, asleep.
The Orc Ranger:
Is amazed at this end to the gruelling battle, but is so tired. He sinks to one knee, looking up toward where the remains of the troll turn to ash to be blown away into the mists. His eyelids feel so heavy. As the glow of the flames about the troll diminish, the orc ranger seems to see the outline of a woman standing a short ways behind where the spellcaster has just fallen asleep. The silhouette points out toward the orc with a thin stick, and then he too falls asleep.
Eldon's eyes flutter open, his surroundings slowly coming into focus. The soft light filtering through the window gently illuminated the room, revealing a scene of surprising tranquility. He finds himself lying on a simple but comfortable cot, the crisp white sheets neatly tucked around him. Glancing around, he sees Lord Foppington, Narrakas, the orc, and the human fighter, all lying on similar cots, their injuries carefully tended to with clean bandages and poultices. The orc was notably manacled to his cot, a precaution, no doubt.
As he raises his head from the pillow, Eldon is met with the warm gaze of a woman standing near his cot. Her presence exudes a sense of calm and confidence, her hazel eyes carrying both kindness and wisdom. Her chestnut-brown hair, streaked with silver, is elegantly braided and pulled back to keep it out of her way. She wears a flowing herbalist's robe in earthy greens and browns, adorned with delicate floral patterns, and a pristine white apron, bearing subtle stains from her hands-on work with herbs and potions.
"I was wondering which of you would wake first. I'm not surprised it was you," the woman says, her voice gentle yet filled with a quiet strength. She offers Eldon a reassuring smile before continuing. "My name is Lydia. You and your companions were brought here by Lady Othmor's people. They found you in quite a state, but fear not, you're in safe hands now."
fizkilk awakens, and growls his irritation. of course he is chained, why should he expect anything different. and if he understands the end of the fight correctly, then he was attacked with magic to bring him her. well at least someone is standing up for him
he turns his head to look at the fighter he first saw battling the troll "im fizkilk. who are you?" he asks winceing in pain, but he would be able to stand if he wasnt manacled "da trolls dead, killed in some kinda fireburst. then someone cursed me ta sleep and well, you know as much as i afterwards"

Mad Mardigan born Maurice Mardigan some 25 years ago. As best we can tell. Due to an unfortunate circumstance where his mother and father were being robbed by cutthroats, his father Alex Mardigan, was kill trying to protect his wife. The Cutthroats got away but were identified by his mother, and bounties where issued. Maurice being around 16 at the time felt it was his duty to track down each and every one of them and bring them in for punishment. He acquired the moniker "Mad" because of his disregard for his own safety while going after his bounty. One example would a time he step into a known spike trap in order to punch his bounty in the face, knocking him out. While bringing in a bounty, we can now call his last bounty, Mardigan's caravan was attacked by a troll. He is that caravan's only survivor

The Orc ranger and Narrakas attack the Troll together in a flurry of desperation.
The Orc's attacks, while earnest, just fall short or are rebuffed by the troll's thick hide.
Narrakas punishes the troll with the purifying fire, its glower smoldering at the goblin as much as its wounds now are.
Next: Eldon -> Troll (flanked - flat-footed, scorched) -> Human Fighter (Unconscious, Wounded 1) -> Fopp (Unconscious, Wounded 1) -> Orc Ranger -> Narrakas ->

Where are we?, Is the troll dead? What is this place?
Mad Mardigan rubs is aching head. Glad to be alive, but unsure of his surroundings.
Why is he chained? Release him! he is an ally! looking toward the Orc Ranger
Mardigan tries to rise, but the wounds and ache prevent it.
“We were… overmatched by a troll. I think. My memory is unclear.. where are we? What happened?”. Eldon looks around warily, not sure what to believe.
