So what to do now? Trying to walk the wolf outdoors? Keep it with you while Ardana opens the door? Or...?
(Daisy will try to lead the wolf to corridor with the hole. Leave some food there so maybe it will stay for awhile... Another animal handling check?)
"Just wait a few," Daisy says to Ardana.
The dwarf and the wolf go and already seem to move in unison, in harmony, like a micro-pack of only two elements.
Diasy arrives to corridor with the hole... leaves some food (which the wolf promptly devours)... but when the druid tries to leave, the canid doesn't seem willing to stay there alone, but to follow her...
The druid tries to exploit the understanding already created (in addition to her own experience with animals and nature) to convince the beast...
(OOC: Yes, she needs another Animal Handling check to get him to stay there…)
Daisy places another ration on the ground beneath the hole. "C'mon now. I need you to stay." She gives the wolf her best stern look and holds a hand out.

The wolf either doesn't understand, or it definitely doesn't want to understand. In front of the druid's best stern look, it finally stops... whimpering a bit... but as Daisy turns around the wolf joins her in two leaps, carrying the unfinished food in its mouth for later.
'There's no way I'm going to be without my pack again!' its yellow eyes fixed on the dwarf seem to say.
"Sigh... Okay, fine then. But you need to watch yourself. I probably don't need to tell you how bad these folks are." She gives the wolf a scratch behind its ears. "C'mon the others are waiting."
The dwarf shortly returns to the kitchen with the wolf a step behind holding a bundle in its mouth. "I guess this one's joining us. Guess its not much of a guard dog." Daisy shrugs. "Let's keep going then."
It appears that thou didst not journey nor come back solitary, nay, not in the slightest! Clas says and smiles broadly on Daisy's return with her new beastie.

Never underestimate the power of a finely crafted barrel, my friend! It is both a vessel of strength and a symbol of resilience.
Daisy has just returned explaining about the wolf still with her (and Tarysaa has just plucked her pointed elven ear from the south door) when the door that Ardana has been waiting for for a long time to open... opens by itself!
Or rather, a scruffy-looking bald man opened it, not unlike the already known Bjorn and Tobias. The man was smiling, saying: "Hey! Mangy can't be heard anymore! Maybe Mhurren has finally managed to tame it! Or maybe he lost his temper and finally decided to kill it! I'm just going to see which of the two..."
Then the door is wide open, and the eyes of the bald man, Ardana and Nimblestep meet.
After a moment in which everyone is surprised by the unexpected encounter, the bald man realizes: "Intruders!" and with his hand he runs to the mace hanging by his side.
Ardana, who is best able to see into the room, notes that it is a vast room, dominated by a sturdy, elegant, large oval table (fits in a 10' x 20' rectangle) of mahogany, with lit candles illuminating the surroundings. To the south of the majestic table two other bad guys were sitting, playing cards: a woman with a scarred face and a boy with disturbing haunted eyes.
Hearing their companion's cry of alarm, both curse wildly and try to get up abruptly, grabbing crossbows.
"I was winning!" she growls. "Let's see if you also win in pigeon shooting!" he grins.
Even though Ardana is the one who saw the most details, everyone realizes that an unforeseen encounter has occurred - neither side is surprised - all but Clas roll initiative (Clas had already rolled accidentally - let's keep his 17 as his Initiative).
That's the updated map:
Ar, Ni, Cl, Il, Ta & Da = Ardana, Nim, Clas, Ilwhyte, Tarysaa & Daisy
Clas parts way with the torch. "Farewell, faithful torch!" With the lit torch at his feet, now, in the face of darkness, Clas unsheathes his trusty longsword, the mighty 'Ale'! "Hail to the Ale". He smiles, oh does he smile.

Tarysaa's head whips around at the commotion and sees Clas drop his torch. With a rubbing of her fingers and a short phrase (Prestidigitation), she ignites a small fire in the fireplace. Once satisfied there would be SOME measure of light in the room, Tary prepares herself and her bow.
(OOC: not sure if I was clear enough but I wished for Nim to have his sleep spell readied as an action for if anyone hostile came at the party. Is this able to happen? If so he’d like to attempt to aim it at the uppermost corner of the new room providing a 20ft circle radius encompassing all three foes and Ardana. It should affect BM and HE before Ardana and SW. Rolled 20 total with 5d8.)

No, I don't allow to ready an action before there is actually a combat, because it is... wel... a combat action. But you'll of course be allowed to cast it on your turn - it will probably be a deciding spell.
This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.

While the wolf pack drama was going on, Tarysaa slide over to the southern door and tried to detect any sounds.
