The faerie dragon cocks her head in a cat-like fashion as Navi proposes friendship, and answers after a slight pause. I confess, when I first saw you two... Never mind. Yes. Yes, I would very much like to be your friend. It's a little difficult to tell with a dragon, but Navi senses that the creature smiles.
The rest of the questions are answered in no particular order.
I expect that if keys were the only solution, then Wigglewog might have tried to acquire Lorna's set. That old frog had something else in mind, and so we absconded. I will go back if necessary, but would prefer to stay far away from that old crone. Besides, even without all this mist, I wouldn't know the way back to Downfall. I was taken directly there after being transformed, and have never seen this country... or if I did then it looked very different. In any case, I have little choice but to go where you go.
As for the Queen... certainly Zybilna would have the means to free me - she is rumored to be very powerful. But I fear she is no more. This land was a fantastic paradise of surpassing beauty when we arrived. Now it's a fetid swamp. This is the hags' doing, and I suspect Queen Zybilna's power over this realm is broken.
Flynn offers a few helpful suggestions, but something nags at him and he can't quite focus on the conversation. Then realisation hits him! He just remembers what it was he was trying to recall (see end of post) when a noise from the mists grabs everyone's attention. It sounds like singing, but with deep, guttural tones. Does everyone sing in this land?
The mists swirl and the cattails part as six strange singing figures lumber into view. The hunched forms become more visible as they approach, and the group see that they are heavy-set humanoids leaning on stilts for both hands and feet, cloaked in patchwork rags and furs, with wire cages strapped to their backs, and goblinoid faces half-veiled with odd masks made from strings of beads. Despite being hunched over, the long stilts on which they walk and which keep them well above the water level make them appear tall and somewhat intimidating.
As the first few of them spot the group nearby, they stop singing and stare in surprise. The others also cease their song as the first one barks something in what is probably the speech of Goblins:
ho na le drakone e botlamuoeng mona
...upon which they stride closer and begin to spread out as though attempting to surround the group.

Flynn:
Gaston would tell tales of the adventures of a mythical group of heroes known as "Valor's Call" and their epic struggles against their arch-rivals, the "League of Malevolence". Every time this bard visited he would have a new tale to tell, and Flynn is well-acquainted with the main characters. He has re-told the same tales himself, but not been able to come up with anything original about them.
Valor's Call consists of: - their leader, a paladin named Strongheart - his faithful companion, the dwarven fighter Elkhorn - the heart of the group, a noble cleric Mercion - the philanthropic thief, Molliver - the powerful and erudite wizard, Ringlerun
The League of Malevolence comprises: - their greedy and narcissistic leader, Kelek, who above all craves Ringlerun's magic staff. (This is a recurring plot point in Gaston's stories) - his bodyguard, the fearsome helmed warrior Warduke - a spooky necromancer named Zargash - the diminutive and honorless orc assassin Zarak - the mysterious spellcaster Skylla, sometimes known as Charmay
As far as Flynn has ever known, they are fictional characters.
Seeing the new addition to the party. "Hey fellas, looks like the natives are getting restless..."

“Are they naughty?” Navi asks. “What’s in their cages?” She finds herself taking up a protective position in front of their own caged dragon friend as she cranes her neck to see what they have.
The hobgoblins stand up straight on their leg-stilts, and flip their arm-stilts over so that they are able to brandish them like clubs. The tall creatures are so much taller and more menacing on stilts! As they thus prepare for battle, they continue to converse rapidly in their goblinoid tongue, which only Flynn can understand...

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
"But what kinda eggs..." Navi muses quietly to herself.
Nature: 18
When the stilt beings make themselves bigger, it was only fair Navi did too. The little fairy takes her protective stance, expands her wings, puffs out her chest and puts her hands on her hips. Until...
"Ouu! Ouu!" Navi chimes raising her hand in the air. "I understood those words!" Then they register in her brain. "Heyyyy..."
"Hey, listen! That's what we're trying to do silly!" The fairy blurts out in Sylvan in return. "The little dragon is our friend. We rescued him from a tower and we're trying to find a key or way to free him." She explains. "Do you know how?"
Navi doesn't know how she knows, but she can identify eggs of many different species in the cages on the hobgoblins' backs: bird eggs of great variety, including herons, ducks, kingfishers, and other birds with affinity for water; there are snake and crocodile eggs; and there is one large and almost spherical egg that the fairy is sure comes from an owlbear.
The hobgoblin that issued the warning raises his hand suddenly, and the others hold their attack. They begin speaking again in Goblin (translation for Flynn)
O ile a reng? (What did it say?) Ha ke tsebe. Ke ne ke utloisisa mantsoe a seng makae feela. Mamela. Nyenyane. Motsoalle. Fumana. (I don't know. I only understood a few words. Listen. Small. Friend. Find.) Motsoalle? Na ba bolela drakone? (Friend? Does it mean the dragon?) Mohlomong. Ke tla botsa... (Perhaps. I will ask...)
The 'lead' hobgoblin then attempts to speak in very broken Sylvan again (which, ironically, is understood by all except Flynn):
This. Dragon. Your. Friend. Why. Cage.

"Yes! Dragon friend!" Navi nods, trying her best to slow things down in her sylvan and to keep things simple. "Found dragon. Found dragon in cage, on tower." She'll gesture to the cage when she says the word, and then gesture to the direction of the tower when she says that. Then she points to the lock. "Try free dragon. No key." She makes a sad face. "You key?" Her head tilts with her question.
Buzzing with curiosity, once the discussion about the dragon is clear, Navi would point to their eggs when it was an opportune time to ask and it not be confused with the previous conversation. "Why eggs?" She asks first, then points to the most unique one, the large spherical one. "Owlbear." She blurts.
