*** I applied with a warlock as well that I would prefer to use but I am OK playing this character if it is a better fit** Thank you for considering me for your campaign, I can easily post multiple times a day most days. I am also willing to make changes to the character if it helps them to fit the campaign.
Name: Krackle Race: Kobold Class/Planned Subclass: Sorcerer / Draconic Bloodline Background: Uchin - Baldur's Gate Brief Backstory: Krackle has spent most of his short life just trying to survive under the streets of Baldur's Gate. Every day was a struggle as he would band together with unfortunate goblins and kobolds in order to collect the food and clothes they would need just to make it through the week. Although life was hard, he tried his best to stay out of trouble and make coin honestly. His life changed dramatically one day when he came accross the corpse of a dead gnome not far from the sewer entrance. In a moment of weakness, Krackle quickly moved to collect anything he could sell from the corpse until the gaurds spotted him. Scrambling quickly, Krackle fled the area and started heading out on his own.
After leaving Baldur's Gate, the kobold left with only the gnome's belongings and a hope for a better life. As he set out on his own, Krackle's powers within him began to awaken. As his powers began to grow... so did his desire to learn everything he could about dragons and to perhaps even meet one. The young kobold had always had an interest in dragons.. but now it was something more...

*** Hello, I applied to your game in your game thread but was hoping to update my application. I didn't know if it would be best to put it here on the end***
Name: Mender Race: Kobold Class/Planned Subclass: warlock (the undying) / Pact of the Tome Background: Sage Brief Backstory: Mender is a red scaled kobold whose only purpose in life was to serve his master. A large evil dragon called declared himself the master of Mender and his entire Kobold tribe. While most of his brothers and sisters were tasked with protecting the dragons lair and bringing him food and treasure... Mender had a different task. While he was not the only kobold in the tribe to possess magical abilities, his abilities did not lend him to fighting. Mender earned his name due to his ability to easily mend and repair the often-times damaged loot that his kobold family would bring their master. This ability resulted in Mender getting special treatment from the master... making him responsible for not only taking care of the dragons treasures... but also for identifying useful items as well. When books were brought to the master, It was Mender that would repair the books and then be forced to it before determining its value. If the book appeared to be magical or contain important information about locations of treasure or how to obtain power...it was kept... if not it was destroyed.
Although Mender hated his master, he had no choice but to serve him. It wasn't until he was inspecting an orb that was recently stolen from a mage caravan that he was given the chance to serve a new master... A master that promised to make him powerful... to protect him from those that would hurt him and his family. All the had to do was serve and follow orders... and Mender was good at both. That night Mender took the orb and fled into the darkness of night, sneaking off to make a new life with the hope that one day he could free his Kobold tribe from the servitude of the evil dragon.
I would like to remind everyone that this campaign will take quite some time to finish. So really think about if you can consistently post at least 1 per day for the next few months as I am a stickler for pacing.
My number 1 rule is that if you know you will be gone please notify me as I have run across many people who just disappear for days holding up the campaign.
Posting a few times a day should be no sweat for me. Regardless, good luck to everyone. Hope the dice treats the party well no matter how it shakes out.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
High Hopes, Low Rolls. Timezone Is EST. Surely THIS one will reach an ending...
I can very easily post multiple times a day without issues. I find that it makes it easier to RP with other players if you post frequently and it also keeps combat from taking forever.
I will RP multiple post per day usually 3+ times/ day as long as other people are all active.
I’m very excited for this game. Would be my first game here. Usually play on roll20 and Discord. Would love to play an official module in a forum like the old days.
Hi there! Sounds like a good time. Coming in a little late to this, would love to slip my app in last minute. Looking forward to hearing from you, thank you!
Tyll is a fun loving, mischievous man that was born into a family of traveling performers and thieves. He learned to hone his skills working jobs with his parents, where he became known for his nimble fingers. When he was old enough he set out with his own group, losing his way and his families honor system turning to petty crime. On one tragic night, a job went too far that led to the death of a dear old friend and mentor of his. Since then he's decided to go straight, and to help other lost souls and seek justice for those that wish to do harm. Character Appearance:
In that case, would I be able to swap out the signet ring in the Noble background starting gear for a wedding band?
