Ixsas readies his attack against whichever drake Zeds was targeting, preferably Zeds, Serge, Krackle, and Ixsas are all focusing on the same one first (and not the Red Drake since that might take longer to kill if Krackle is using any of his fire magic). Positioned at the entrance, he can target basically anything he can see in the Inner Ward with his cantrip.
Action: Ready casting a spell Crackling of the Final Flames, WIS 15 save or target takes damage: 13 (Necrotic) (assuming that someone else damaged it first, otherwise 11 (Necrotic)) Trigger: When Serge charges the drake that they've all decided to target (preferably not the red drake), Ixsas casts his spell after Zeds first his bow and (if Krackle is casting a cantrip) after Krackle casts his spell. He's hoping that one of them damage it first so that his spell is more effective.
He's currently got the Red Drake targeted bit can easily shift target if need be.
((OOC: LOL! Maybe you missed that, but it definitely makes Zeds look like he just ignores Ixsas. :-D Not that it matters with the miss. Don't forget: when Zeds is using his bow, you can have him use his Cunning Action first or in the previous round to Hide so that gets advantage and sneak attack damage.))
To be fair, Zeds ignores all advice :D
And I did forget. I was like "I know I should have advantage here somehow but I just don't see it..." I don't usually play a rogue, that's my excuse. And I also could Steady Aim to achieve it... I guess I had too many options to remember any of them.
Staying unmoving, just Steadying his Aim, Zeds targets the red drake... then it occurs to him that maybe they should target the green since Serge is in melee with that one. But they have already targeted the red. But mostly missed. But...
Aww screw it, Zeds lets loose at the Red Drake.
Shortbow vs Red Drake: (10 or 15) for 23 to hit and 6 piercing plus 9 sneak attack damage for 15 total. (adv on to hit due to Steady Aim)
Ixsas thinks that at least they succeeded in coordinating their initial attacks even if they didn't seem to do much damage to the drakes. The green drake seems to be tied up with Serge, but Ixsas is worried that the red drake could run up all the way to the doorway to the Outer Ward if they don't engage it first. Trying to get out of view of the bullywugs and lizardfolk, Ixsas moves forward into the Inner Ward. Now that the red guard drake is injured, he feels more confident in his spell choice and again targets it with the necrotic energy of the final cremation pyre and the ash that is the end of all things. Then he draws his dagger in his free hand, just in case.
Movement: 15-ft of movement to end 1 square southeast of Serge (and 1 square southwest of the red drake) Action: Cast spell Crackling of the Final Flames at the red guard drake WIS 15 save or the red guard drake takes damage: 10 (Necrotic) since it is not at its Max HP Free Action: Equip his dagger.
Reaction: The first time it looks like one of the creatures is going to hit Ixsas, he'll use Warding Flare to impose disadvantage on the attack.
