The Moonfire rips into the winged stone devil, sending a multitude of cracks across it's body before making it explode with a loud crackling sound into a fine moon dust. Seeing the brave rogue going down, Seraphina desperately continues to unleash the fire of the Moonmaiden upon the grotesque statue standing over him.
Knocked around and woozy from it all, though a bit steadier on his feet thanks to Ixsas, Zeds swings mindlessly out at the target that has been their goal all along - Dralmorrer
Action - Short Sword vs Drally: 11 or 20 to hit for 8 piercing damage Bonus Action - Short Sword vs Drally: 13 or 15 to hit for 7 piercing damage Sneak Attack damage - If either of those hit (they don't) then he does an extra 7 pts of damage...
As the flying gargoyles attempt to swoop around him to descend upon Zeds, Thrax cracks his axe against one of the stone wings. "Leave him alone!" He barks, but the cry is to no avail as he watches Zeds set upon from all sides.
Frustration knots in Thrax's chest as he watches his new compatriot vanish beneath the onslaught. Unlike his saviours, the Kossuthan priest and the Selunite, he has no healing magic, no soothing prays to repair the tears and bites that Zeds is suffering. All he has is the strength of his arms and the fire in his soul, inspired by Bahamut. The barbarian begins hacking away at Dralmorrer from the other side, with enough force to bring down a mighty oak.
ATTACK OF OPPORTUNITY: Greatsword on Blue Gargoyle. To hit: 17 Damage: 15 ACTION: Attack Dralmorrer with Greatsword. To hit: 6 Damage: 16 Extra Attack. To hit: 19 Damage: 19 BONUS ACTION: Due to GWM, on a critical or reducing an enemy to 0 HP, Thrax gets an additional melee attack. To hit: 21 (Natural 20) Damage: 22 OTHER: Flanking. Great Weapon Master.
((OOC: @Monsterball - It looks like there are a couple of mistakes that you'll need to correct in that post. In particular...
Thrax uses a Greataxe, not a Greatsword, right?
If Thrax is not using Reckless Attack, then his attacks would be with Disadvantage because Dralmorrer is still dodging. So, you should either state that you're using Reckless Attack, or you'll have to make another d20 roll for each attack.
I guess it's dangerous to use Reckless Attack when you're not raging, but it's going to be hard to hit Dralmorrer when using that -5/+10 feature of GWM and having disadvantage because he's dodging. It may not be clear, but I'm pretty sure that Dralmorrer is severely injured. If not at "death's door," I'd guess he's probably below 10 HP at this point, so I'm not sure that you really need that +10 dmg boost.
The ferocious atmosphere in the third floor of the tower continues unabated. Stone monstrosities clatter against steel, blistering arcane lights streak from beyond the spiral stairs - pure bloody pandemonium reigns in this portion of the castle.
"Victory. In sight. Stand strong."Thrax urges Zeds as they stand toe to toe with the gargoyles and the head cultist, who seems to deftly escape every cut of the dragonborn's axe. He pants for breath, grimacing as another set of arcing attacks go wide.
ACTION: Attack with Greataxe. Targeting Dralmorrer. (Thank you, @Ben_Evolent) To hit: (11, 19). Damage 9. Extra Attack. To hit: (10, 23). Damage 14. BONUS ACTION: None. MOVEMENT: None.
(Going to use Heroic Inspiration so that my advantage cancels out the disadvantage of Drally's dodge on the first attack... Posting here first so it's clear I did it before I saw the roll.)
Zeds rolls his eyes at the Dragonborn's pep talk but then suddenly screams at the top of his lungs hoping to distract or disrupt Dralmorrer - the element of surprise and all that. He attacks at the same time, stabbing and slashing at his foe...
Action: Short Sword vs Dralmorrer - 19 to hit for 9 piercing damage (maybe at least needs to use Shield...) Bonus Action: Short Sword vs Dralmorrer - 10or 21 to hit for 9 piercing damage Sneak Attack: An extra 11damage if either of the above hit...
