(Sorry for the delay had to deal with some health concerns with a family member)
Both Krackle and Zeds are able to stay low and weave through the rows of carriages and wagons to find a rather bored Krackle Jr. Gnawing on the carriage wheel like a teething ring.
The bored glazed look in his eyes shine with a twinkle upon seeing Krackle.
Serge sets up camp along with Ixsas, then sets about a watch.
Still uneasy about that hag business from earlier, and keeping a quiet watch alone in the woods for what feels like the first time in ages, he occupies his time coming up with some one-liners to use while battling the Cult of the Dragon in the future.
His favorites are:
"I hope Tiamat is watching—'cause I want her to see this."
"If you wanted to kill me, you should’ve caught me before the whiskey wore off."
"Any last words? Nah, I don’t actually care."
He practices them quietly in the dark until he feels like he's got them just right.

Krackle quietly moves up to JR and give him a hug. "Hey there buddy... we need to get out of here." He whispers with a smile. After handing the giant lizard a few handfulls of feed, he moves into the drivers seat of the carriage and begins to quietly drive out away from the outpost. "I hope no one stops us..." Krackle whispers to Zeds as the carriage begins to move.
The carriage creeks as Krackle start driving the carriage away from Carnath House. A patrolling guardsman lifts up his lantern high towards the carriage's direction
"Stop! No One is allowed leave under the order of Bog Luck!"
The other guards begin to converge they are 60ft away.
There is no trail or road back to camp as Krackle and Zeds traveresed through a wooded area to get back to Carnath house.
Does Krackle make a break for it and head for the main road or try to go off roading with a carriage?
Zeds is sitting besides Krackle with his shortbow already strung, somehow knowing there would be trouble. At the first shout from the guard he takes a moment to Steady his Aim before letting loose an arrow and yelling for Krackle to get that beast a running!
The arrow hits right in the midsection of the guard causing him to stumble back in surprise as he clutches at the arrow shaft. 1 guard runs back to call for Bog Luck.
Krackle Jr. starts scrabbling at the ground pulling the carriage forward.
You can hear 3 heavy thuds as crossbow bolts twang into the back of the carriage.
You then hear shouts of guards yelling "Get the horses!"
The carriage careens into the woods at a moderate pace rumbling and shaking as the wheels rush through bushes and over rocky ground.
As they pass start speeding away, Krackle would cast create bonfire on any nearby wooden crates, hoping to create a distraction. driving forward into the forest, he would message zeds, "Hey! are they following us? Should I fireball the gate to keep them from following us?"
Zeds offers to take the reins so Krackle can focus on the trying to dissuade pursuit... "The gates, the pursuers, whatever get's them to break off!" Zeds excitedly replies.
Krackle hands Zeds the reins before scrambling up on to the top of the carriage. From there he launches a fireball towards the entrance of the gate. His hope is to destroy the gate if the followers have not arrived yet, but if they have he would aim the fireball into the center of the perusing horses.
The fireball streaks through the air to burst into a fiery explosion causing the riders to pull at the reins while the horses whinny in panic. They buck and gallop in different directions trying to escape the pain of the fire.
Well, done you have shaken off your perusers.
An hour passes of traversing a bumpy, rough terrain back to the camp set up by Serge and Ixsas.
((OOC: If the party makes it to the morning without any of the Carnath House guards or anything else attacking their camp, I guess we can skip to breakfast and planning for the upcoming day.))
Krackle would offer to take first watch, as he moved around the camp to ensure that Krackle Jr was fed before carefully tucking in the dragon egg securely within his carriage.
"We made it!" The kobold exclaims as he slides out of the drivers seat of the carriage. "hope you all didn't miss us too much." He says as he moves around the carriage to get some food for Jr. once he spots Ixsas he would lower his voice. I do suppose it has been a long day. Maybe should get some sleep. I can keep first watch of you want. it will take me a bit to get Jr. settled in for the night anyway."
"We may want to move camp," Zeds suggests, a bit uneasy about the trail Krackle and himself may have left. They didn't exactly ride easy... "We didn't have anyone immediately behind us but..." He of course tells the others of the whole ordeal, only exaggerating a bit to make it sound more daring and heroic.
Serge shrugs at Zed's suggesting after welcoming the two of them back to camp. "Won't the problem just follow us? I mean, as long as we take the lizard and wagon, everywhere we go... there's going to be a trail left behind."
Partly, Serge just wants to complete his watch so he can rest and recover from the beating he took at the hands of those lizardfolk warriors...

In a minute the guards will ride in pursuit. Do you keep on charging into the woods or attempt to hide the carriage and yourself somehow?
The guards on horses would be faster than Krackle Jr. and the carriage.
Currenting it is late at night 2.00 AM
(Zeds has no way to try to hide the carriage or such so up to Krackle?)

They are indeed following you as the burning crates would cause a momentary obstacle as they can ride around the crates.
((OOC: Krackle presumably doesn't need message since Zeds is right next to him, firing his bow from the moving carriage.))
Zeds offers to take the reins so Krackle can focus on the trying to dissuade pursuit... "The gates, the pursuers, whatever get's them to break off!" Zeds excitedly replies.
