Luckily Zeds wasn't frightened, he was busy running away from this thing! It does, however, allow Zeds to take a step to the side and attack the oncoming Hell Rider that was hot on his tail. Ducking behind a wagon or a high bush or whatever he can, he pauses for just a moment to allow the horse and ride to catch up before he steps forward and snicker-snack slashes with his twin short swords, the strange glow provided by Ixsas making them a nice easy target... Theoretically.

The undead rider’s eyes flare, and Serge’s resolve fails him. Who could stand against nightmares such as this?
He can't bring himself to look on the horror... can hardly open his eyes at all. His eyes tight against his fear, he makes another blind attack against the 2nd Hellrider.
Longsword Attack (w/disadvantage) on 2nd Hellrider: 6 (Natural 1)
"Helm! Steel my resolve against this terror!"he cries.

Round 13: Ixsas
Seeing Serge fall back, Ixsas remonstrates with him, "Young warrior! Do not run from these undead fiends! Stand your ground! Kossuth's fire is fiercer than theirs!" Ixsas knows that the fight is ince his other companions aren't in sight, Ixsas yells over his shoulder to them and to the other caravanners: "They're too nimble on their mounts! We must unseat them! Faelsin, be quick! Have sturdy men ready to raise ropes between the wagons!"
Ixsas tries to distract the rider in front of him by stabbing at him with the spiritual weapon. As soon as he does that, he attempts to target the rider's horse with Sacred Flame.
Movement: Ixsas remains where he is, maintaining 1/2 cover from the Hellrider. Action: Cast spell Sacred Flame on HR #2's horse, DEX 14 save (with no benefit from cover) or target takes damage: 7 (Radiant). Bonus Action: Spiritual Weapon remains where it is and strikes at HR#2 10, Damage: 9 force (Move the weapon up to 20 feet and repeat the attack against a creature within 5 feet of it.) Free Action: Talking Reaction: If one of the riders attacks him, Ixsas will use Warding Flare to impose disadvantage on the attack.

Ixsas sees the rider dodge his spear and then dance his horse sideways out of the way of the sacred flame. He grits his teeth, determined to stamp out this undead flame. He sees the rider's flaming sword slash out at him again, and another warding light flashes out between in him and rider. But this time, the unholy knight was prepared for it and expertly guides his sword around Ixsas's shield, cutting deep. Ixsas gasps in pain, then sees flame, and then darkness.
Ixsas is now unconscious, ending his concentration:
Serge makes a half-blind, quarter-hearted sword swipe at the 1st Hellrider as it moves away, again failing completely.
Longsword AOO (with disadvantage) on the First Hellrider: 6(another Critical Failure)
Still unable to find his nerve, and completely out of sorts with his swordsmanship, Serge turns in time to see the defender nearest him fall. The man had seemed to be a priest of some kind (Though had he call out the name of Kossuth? Isn't that just an elemental spirit?) and perhaps Serge could still do something useful here.
He plants his blade in the ground and drops to a knee, looking to stem the worst of the bleeding to keep the man from perishing before proper aid could be rendered. Unfortunately, even this proves too much for him in the heat of the moment.
Medicine check (w/disadvantage) to stabilize Ixsas: 9
The failure only reinforces his panic, as he is unable to shake the fear this monster has poured upon his spirit.
Another WIS save: 3
