"There are only four of us..."Aryil scans the room "It appears the ranger has run for his life!" He pauses looking at the statue they know to be a golem "Do these types of construct actually need to be able to see in order to attack?"

"They need to see, but they can hear us too. I don't know about the ranger, but I do know that his mount wouldn't be affected." says the wizard pointing to the lizard.
"There must be some sort of trigger though, I doubt the lizard would activate it, especially if it is on the ceiling, I say try the spell on the four of us, if we get past then the lizard can chase after us, what do we think?"

Or Nym could dismiss it ... it's not like he can't recall the invocation later on. They are made to serve and be cast away once we are done with it. I mean the beast is. Not you sweety.
After spending the past few moments pinching the bridge of his nose, Nym finally looks up and address the group. "Our ranger's disappearance aside, the die has already been cast in that regard." He gestures his head to the lizard, who in sensing her partner's displeasure, picks up the pace of her crossing. "And it is 'her', not 'it'."He states tersely, giving Cyrhan a sidelong look. "I warn you not out of sentiment, but necessity. Now. If you are all so anxious to cross rather than trust her to ferry you across, then by all means wizard."
While awaiting an answer, Nym will study the statue now knowing of its true nature, and try to suss out any recollection regarding the golem's fighting potential.
(OOC: He's not trained in any real knowledge skill. But if a general intelligence roll would work then:)
Not need for sentiment, dear. Or for details. It's a tool to be used, like we are for the Bregan. I trust it to get us accross. I'd just rather do it under the cover of an invisibility spell. Plus we might have a use for some invisibility afterward, this path being chock-full of surprise as it is.
The tone of his voice is friendly, almost hitting a joyful note when stating what he seems to perceive as a grim truth of the life in the Bregan D'Aerthe.
He waits for Tyr to cast his spell before opening the march (in a discreet fashion).
“I live to serve” says the wizard with sarcasm at their conversation and cast the spell. As he mutters the arcane words and waves his hands the bodies of the group start to dissapear from sight, from the feet upwards, and as he finishes they all are gone.
Nym opens his mouth, hesitates, and then with a quiet huff he looks askcance, dropping the issue. It wasn't as if the Paladin was wrong. This time.
Once the spell takes affect, he will request for Lokk to remain on standby just ten feet above the entryway of the next tunnel through the bond, then hopefully trail behind not too far behind Cyrhan in the same fashion.
Aryil feels the tingle of the spell and watches the others disappear from sight, marking their positions as they do, he whispers "Try and stay as quiet as possible anyway."

As soon as the group approaches, Lokk will skitter a ways until she reached the cross roads. Nym will take the time once there to see about transferring the female drow corpse into one of the barrels, and hammering down the lid. Ignoring Lokk's projected complaints of not being at least given a nibble and now being a little off balance gait wise, the half-drow will help the others in examining the immediate area (should one choose to), though took on more of a supportive roll in doing so.
His expertise was in beings in urban areas, not trekking the proverbial wilds. But no, he wasn't going to start complaining and add more fuel to /that/ fire.

Aryil looks over the various openings seeing what is there and trying to tell whether or not anything has passed that way yet. (Perception) 11 and if needed (Survival) 6 to check for tracks.

(What was the Arcana check towards exactly, Fran? Also, if Aryil would accept his aid at this point, you could make one of those checks at advantage Phade since Nym is "helping")

(( Iam not sure, that’s why I added the interrogation mark. He said “checks” so I wasn't sure if arcana would apply. I rolled a natural 1 so... we will never know ;) ))

I think he's talking about the giant lizard that tries to stealthily move around...
He says, amused and pointing at Nym's mount.

Yes you have the advantage.
You all move past the statue and nothin happens. It stands still. Unmoving.
At the end of the cave there are several ways that open up to you.
You'll have to do checks of you want to gather some info.

(//with his help action you would get to roll a 2nd dice and pick the best result. Can't be worst than a 1 :) )
Arcana was fine but you don't see anything.
Aryil knows that the place is safe for now and that the path leading south would lead deeper into the underdark.
The others caves are full of alcove and bones. Weirdly enough the yellow mold is not present.
