"Do you want to check the buildings? In case there is something that could give us a hint of who the attackers are? Maybe they are storing pillaged goods in there?"
Great stone double doors bar the entrance to this ancient mausoleum. ( The largest of the two ). The doors or the lintel may once have borne an inscription or crest, but centuries of wind and rain have erased any such marking, just as they have slowly eroded the structure of the building itself, leaving cracked walls and crumbling mortar in their wake.
The stone doors, though heavy, seem to be able to pivot easily to allow entrance to the mausoleum.
The other building has single, massive, stone door bearing a weathered but still visible family crest marks the entrance to this crumbling mausoleum. The door to the mausoleum is stuck. (Perception check for the crest.)
Jhaldrym heads toward the South West corner of the larger building where he can keep an eye out on both doors and the entrance to the East. "I'll watch the east", is all he says leaving the others to examine the door.
Still in the process of canvasing the immediate area, Nym remains silent up until Jhaldrym. "Lokk shall accompany you."He states, and at some silent command the lizard moves to follow Jhaldrm. However, she keeps her distance still, as to avoid spoiling any attempt at hiding in plain sight. With that out of the way, he looks to the others and states, "Indeed. Smaller one first."And with that, Nym motions for the others (save Ayril and Jhal) to take position just out of direct line of the door before moving on with Ayril. Again, like Lokk, he takes care to give the man space to work as necessary, but keeps a hand on the heft of an "axe" in readiness of trouble.
"What do we have here?" He asks quietly.

Cyrhan feels the usual feeling undead bring him. There are two that you know are not hidden in the smaller of the two building. Nothing in the larger one.
Nym lofts a brow, but otherwise doesn't challenge the jest. Instead, he changes the disguise to that of his full elven's armed and armored form as he moves into position. A simple precaution, if nothing else. Using his free-hand (the other being otherwise occupied by a buckler), Nym tries to force open the door quickly and wide as he rushes inside, hoping to at least throw off the ambushers.
And if allowed/able to, Nym will take the dodge action during the rush, and try to get into 5ft of one of the undead. If cannot take any other "Action", he'll still try to get within the 5ft if possible.
We're not looking for undeads. While I agree we should make sure these two don't ambush us, we might want to check out the mausoleum first. Might be people in it, or trace of passage. This small one seems sealed well enough that our raiding cousins cannot possibly have set up camp in it.
Come on Honey, I'll help you opening it afterward!
(OOC:Next time you try to open the small mausoleum, consider that Cyrhan is using the help action to break the seal with you)
Although Nym is not so stubborn as to continue out of spite, he still visibly bristles at the Honey comment, and only grudgingly turns to regard Cyrhan out of the corner of his eyes. "There is... merit, to that. But it would behooves us to not leave any stone unturned."He whispers, then looks back to the small building. "Even the most innocuous one." Nym pulls away on that point, and leads the march to the larger building provided nothing untoward along the way.
Meanwhile, Lokk is given the silent command to keep a close eye on the smaller building.

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Try’Gan just take a little walk around the larger mausoleum as the others are focused on the little one trying to open it. He seems to be chechking if there are other entrances or windows, but once he dissapears from the other’s view he make a quick gesture and a little demon, with leather wings and a small tail wich endn in a little sting appears at his side
*Yess Massterr?*
*Follow me, and keep and eye open. Both eyes * he quickly adds reminding that his familiar sometimes took the orders too literally * And do not let the others see you. Be invisible *
* Yess Masssterr* replies the creature.
As all the conversation took place in the wizard’s mind no one can hear it. When he reappears at the other side of the building he seems to be alone again.
Cyrhan turn to Aryil, with the scariest friendly smile you could image, and whisper as if he was sharing a confidence:
Please check the door for traps. If Try'gan can't find us another entry, I'll break in first through the main doors.
And he gets ready to open the way, sword and shield in hand, as soon as Try'gan reports finding no doors and Aryil finding no traps (and unless someone does something else in the meantime)
As Nym heads towards the larger building and Try'gan walks around the edge Aryil takes up a position behind the two paladins and the lizard, to the latter he says "Tough break, getting him for a rider, bet its all fun, fun, fun for you". He still has his favourite dagger out but uses the time to switch the second for his hand crossbow, which he checks and loads "You never know" he adds to the lizard as he does this.
As he finishes his preparation Cyrhan suggests checking the door, which seems reasonable. Aryil nods and goes over to the other doors, carefully examining them for traps.
Investigation 18
OOC what did Aryil learn from the perception check earlier? Hopefully lots with that roll!
(To Clarify, Lokk is still near Jhaldrym, if albeit maybe 10 or so feet away)
As the group drew closer to the main doors, Nym doesn't draw his own sword, but kept his free hand hovering by the hilt. Once more, following Ayril's and Try'gan's report, he starts to look to Cyrhan, only to see the man take the initiative in the end.
Aside from a lofted brow, Nym doesn't utter even a word of complaint, but would step up to help on the off-chance it seemed necessary.

"Yes, we should. Those doors look heavy, let me take a look at them, we'll go from there."

Cyrhan places himself back to the mausoleum, on the left side of the massive doors. He makes a gesture, asking his mates for a few seconds.
He focuses, checking for undeads or some other kind of extra planar surprises in the vicinity (going to use Divine Sense).

Grining, Cyrhan gestures the information back to his companions, staying on his toes, as he can't confirm that there is no one in the mausoleum.
"Dispose of them then. Better not let nothing at our backs... "

Jhaldrym smiles slightly at the back and forth. Staying where he is, he waits in place where he is occasionally glancing back from the way they came.
