O thank you for the breather, mate.  I'm all right, though one eye is gettin on me nerves, if you takes my meanin.  Right now he's in my head, singin in the rain, or some such...an tanks for the potion, what i've got now is just a scratch, ye see, I'm savin the potion for when I gets something a bit more serious, like a flesh wound...

After the break he looks around the upstairs rooms a bit more looking for portable stuff

Investigation 7

RAW in the adventure there’s not supposed to be any stuff till the end of the adventure but with a nat 20 investigation I’ll think on it and figure something out.)

You find: 1 basic potions of healing hidden among the books, as well as a pouch of 18 gold lives and 9 silver.

Hadrian cleaned up the gray matter off his axe making sure not to touch the tendrils which he thinks might paralyze.

He sat himself near the edge of the group making sure to keep an eye out for interlopers.

Thankfully for us no one bothers us, for whatever reason.

Once everyone is rested we’ll continue to the next floor, aye?

Tommy collected his arrows and fed birdie during the break. Then he looks around for anything interesting.

You find some more stuff hidden around, a pouch of 12 gold and 15 silver, as well as a potion of Heroism. 

Jetsam takes a look around as well, just because. 16

Kulibak is feeling somewhat better better from the breather.

That break wass\ well timed, I thoughts we was goners for sure....Shall we press on?  Rangers leading the way...If everyone is agreeable Kulibac\k heads up the stairs with his quarter staff at the ready...

as we peek into the next room, what we see is:

a large teleportation circle on the flooor surrounded by arcane runes, stained glass windows depicting Kaladin Salazar accomplishing monumental tasks, defeating monsters and the like. The domed ceiling is painted with constellations, and the wall hangings depict maps of the world. The light on this room is very dim, and there’s a door in one side leading out to a balcony. There doesn’t seem to be a staircase leading up to the fifth floor from here.

Gagged and tied up against the opposite wall is a figure recognizable as the person depicted in the various paintings, statues and murals around the place. 

How do you want to do this?

So I'm stealth thinking might be an asset here?  Kulibak whispers to his pals...

Jetsam whispers back. “Isn’t that him right there?”

Hadrian took a peek into the room, eyes the stained glass and then the man gagged and tied up and rolled his eyes. 

'This is beyond my paygrade. I will leave this to the magic-like.' He thought.

He brought back his attention from outside the door to make sure nothing sneaks up.
