I will leave and then return to the campaign in a second. Just wanted to update my background but need to do it in another campaign with shared resources.
Backstory: Merryl Summerlade grew up in a quaint village nestled between rolling hills and lush green meadows. His father, a hardworking and humble goat farmer, had passed down the family trade to him much to his disappointment, he believed he was destined for greatness, not in the form of selling goat milk. From a young age, Merryl was surrounded by the earthy scent of the fields and constant bleating of goats. However, despite the simplicity of his family's life, Merryl couldn't shake the feeling that there was something more awaiting him in life. Blinded by this idea of greatness he always was looking trouble, sorry, his next great adventure, wether it be stealing an apple from the fruit merchant who it seemed to Merryl, couldn’t stop shouting at people to buy his apples, or hiking and exploring the rolling plains and forests.
Stormwreck Isle—now visible off the bow of your ship—promises rare wonders. Seaweed shimmers in countless brilliant colors below you, and rays of sunlight defy the overcast sky to illuminate the lush grass and dark basalt rock of the island. Avoiding the rocks jutting up from the ocean, your ship makes its way toward a calm harbor on the island’s north side.
A large, open-air temple comes into view, perched on the edge of a cliff high above you. The ship drops anchor at the mouth of the harbor, and two sailors row you ashore. You have plenty of time to admire the towering statue at the center of the temple, depicting a wizened man surrounded by seven songbirds. A long path winds up the side of the cliff to the temple, dotted along the way with doorways cut into the rock.
The sailors set you ashore on a rickety dock, where a large rowboat is neatly tied. They point to the base of the path and wish you good luck before they row back to the ship. Your visit to Dragon’s Rest begins!
Morund Bund takes in the scintillating sights, the spray of waves on the jetty sprinkling against his beard and face. It’s bracing, to be sure, but … not unwelcome.
He looks up again at the great statue of the god and the seven canaries. He smells the salt and the seaweed in the air. The wind sinks cold into his chest as he breathes deep.
Truly, the scholar thinks, scratching the ash of his pipe from his salt and peppered beard, I have lived more in the last week on my way to this place than in seven years in the library.
Morund taps his breast pocket, making sure the ring and letter remain in the parchment envelope within. All set.
Warm blue eyes look at the others who’ve joined him on the jetty. An eclectic bunch of pilgrims, but then perhaps the same could be said of him.
“Blessings on your pilgrimage, and well met. Name’s Bund. Morund to those not inclined to stand on ceremony.”
Merryl looks around eagerly his brown hair flying in the breeze. “Hey have any of you seen anything like this before?” He is jumping around full of energy.
Good luck!

Would there be an ooc thread? And another thread for the actual campaign?
@Reed, if the four characters in the campaign are the whole group, may I switch to the Dwarven Cleric. I think we will need a healer.
