I think if Xanrym is going to be spending all his time studying the tome, he can’t go and check out the South Gate or find Plaguelost. So you’ll be one party member down for those events.
(OOC: Fair enough. If Xanrym is too busy for any excursions, hopefully he can finish his study and practice with the Tome in just 4 or 5 days. The others are free to explore while Xanrym completes those studies, or they could wait until he's done before checking out the South Gate or looking for Plaguelost. I got the impression that Xanrym was the only one really pushing to do more exploring before The Company hears back from Es Sarch.
How's this? Assuming Xanrym has no time for excursions on days 2 - 5.
Tail Eamotth as he returns to the Inheritors' base. Chat with Irennaste about his plans and offer to sell the statue of Lolth back to Irennaste. Start studying Tome (4 hours), assuming that Xanrym doesn't get killed or captured when following Eamotth in the morning.
Study Tome (8 hours). See whether / when Irennaste plans to return back to House Dusklorn and whether he needs any help from The Company.
Study Tome (10 hours).
Study Tome (10 hours).
Study Tome (10 hours).
Finish Tome (6 hours). If Es Sarch hasn't contacted us yet, find a way to send a message to him. Or use Invisibility to slip into the Dripstone Inn in the "evening" to make contact with Es Sarch without making it obvious that we're still working for him. While we're out that way, we could look for Plaguelost and/or visit the site of the Plagueburst.
If we're still waiting on info about Fhadheela, check out the secret door at the South Gate.

Before he starts, Xanrym would still like to follow the Derro stealthily when they release him. He just wants to see where the Derro goes and whether it reveals anything about the Inheritors or the Blueknight. Xanrym would cast Comprehend Languages as a ritual before they release the Derro. Then he'll watch the Derro leave and attempt to follow at a distance with Syllen.
Coriana doesn't have any free money at the bastion to really do anything this turn. She would like to attempt to sell her old breastplate to free up some cash, so a low-key trip to the markets would be in order.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards. DM - The Old Keep
(OOC: I don't know if this matters but when Syllen was following he would have cast Pass Without Trace and turned into a spider so his stealth roll would be plus 16.)
They successfully scout out the temple, which has clearly been converted. Previously a temple to the Kuo Toa god Blipdoolpoolp, it has been hastily updated to be in service to Berei of the Hearth Mother, perhaps one of the only human gods you’ve seen worshipped down here in the Underdark. In fact, this may be the only sign you’ve seen here of a connection to the world above at all. You also see lots of Inheritors around, and they are very much on guard, so an intrusion into the temple would take another stealth check. Let me know if that’s something you want to try.
Once they get back, Xanrym convinces Irennaste to accept the statue for 1200gp before letting him go and studying the Tome. He is able to get the benefits from it quickly by focussing in it over the next two days.
Avery and Theldrin talk about the possibility of investigating the Plaguelost, but decide it would be too dangerous and to keep their heads down.
Coriana and Khessa go about some business in town, Khessa getting info while Coriana sells her breastplate, getting the usual half price for used gear from Bruthwol Khessa cleverly asks Es Sarch for some info on the drow slaves from Twardens, to which she gets an interesting answer. He had received information about those particular slaves a few years ago, most of them were purchased from the drow by a mysterious buyer, espiecially interested in women. Even Es Sarch couldn’t find anything out about that buyer at the time, it was like they entered the Underdark and left in a flash, taking some drow slaves with them. As for the rest of the prisoners, they were distributed as usual to many drow cities as needed, some even here to Pedestal and House Dusklorn. But many were also given up along the way, abandoned to the cold and unforgiving Underdark, or just killed.
On your various journeys around the city, it is clear word has got around: The Assassin’s Guild took out a hit on House Dusklorn. The offer of a truce must have just been a ploy on behalf of the Assassin’s Guild.
After two days, you receive a letter from Es Sarch, asking you to attend the Dripstone to receive your reward for reward.

From what he knows of Berei (Religion: 16 (in game log)), Xanrym finds it hard to believe that it's really a temple dedicated to that goddess. But then what are they hiding? Why not just de-consecrate the temple and turn it into a stronghold?
Xanrym glances at Syllen-spider and nods toward the building. Feeling confident with the combination of magics (Pass Without Trace and his own Cloak of Elvenkind), Xanrym waits to find a moment where he can try to slip past the guards and get inside briefly to see whether he can tell what's really going on inside the temple.
(OOC: I don't know if this matters but when Syllen was following he would have cast Pass Without Trace and turned into a spider so his stealth roll would be plus 16.)
(OOC: If Syllen is a regular (tiny) spider, then I guess that he may just be riding on Xanrym's shoulder or something when Xanrym sneaks into the Temple of Berei. Never mind. I guess he's a Giant Wolf Spider.)
A hint of hesitation seeps out of Syllen's words to Xanrym.
“Do you wish for me to scout further? I have enough magic that I could escape if needed. I wonder if we could find out more about Inheritors that could help us in the future.”
In his current form Syllen has blindsight and 40 feet of climbing speed.
