Assuming you let the negotiation continue on uninterrupted, it goes for about another hour; and just when it seems a handshake (or whatever substitutes for one) is about to happen between the two faction leaders, you all hear a voice in your minds as Lord Vuglomax opens his arms. "Very good, Rethos, this has been an incredible learning experience for you. I am very pleased to see your skills of negotiation have come along to match your fighting ability, you have done your father very proud. However..." At this point Bloobbloum says out loud, "Are you sure this is necessary my Lord? They've taken our weapons, and the negotiations are actual..." You all feel a kinetic pulse inside as the Kuo-toa doubles over and screams, "Do not interrupt me slave! I am Lord Vuglomax, and I have decided that this being cannot control the flow of information in Pedestal anymore!" He points to Es Sarch and then puts a hand on his robe, scunching up a piece, "Spiderhunters! Kill these fools, and Rethos, kill Es Sarch."
As the Spiderhunters spread out into position and Bloobbloum stands back up panting, Lord Vuglomax pulls off his robe and throws it to the side. Underneath, wrapped in leather straps and tight fitting clothes, with a tentacled face and purple skin, is the visage of a Mind Flayer. Initiative:
Group 1: Avery, Coriana, Syllen, and Theldrin,
Group 2: Everyone else.
Group 3: Khessa and Xanrym
Avery, Theldrin, Syllen, and Coriana are up. Having been focussed on security for the entire negotiation. The Company faces down the leaders of the Inheritors, as well as the Spiderhunters.
Theldrin curses under his breath as he sees Vuglomax reveal himself and call for the attack. Quickly springing into action he aims a Fireball in the area just behind Bloobbloum, hoping to catch all of the enemies but the Deep Gnome (and avoiding Rethos or using Sculpt Spells if necessary) within the blast radius.
Assuming you let the negotiation continue on uninterrupted, it goes for about another hour; and just when it seems a handshake (or whatever substitutes for one) is about to happen between the two faction leaders, you all hear a voice in your minds...
Xanrym was happy to see the negotiations going well for Es Sarch's sake even if The Company's presence was no help. He's shocked when Lord Vuglomax throws off his cloak, and as he tries to recover, he shouts the first thought that pops into his head, "We need to get Es Sarch out of here!"
Coriana summons her scimitars and hands one to Avery. She then moves next to Es Sarch and unleashes a torrent of lightning, hoping to soften up Rethos to be knocked out by another and injure Vulgomax and the Quaggoth. (31 lightning damage, Dex Save for half DC 15)

As soon as he takes off his robe, Avery runs up and punches Vuglomax in his squidy face, while Coriana stands up next to him and launches a lightning bolt that piercing straight through his armor, dropping him (I'll allow Death Saves for Rethos, cause it would be brutal to have Coriana kill him!). Theldrin's fireball injures a bunch of the crew as well, and Syllen's animals rip into Bloobbloum and Vuglomax. The Goblin Hexxer casts Faerie Fire, as the Troglodyte; Quaggoth; and Deep Gnome all rush into, your back ranks. Hmm, that's wierd, a lost a bunch of copy. The Spiderhunters all moved into position while the Hexxer cast Faerie Fire, and the Deep Gnome morphed into a rat-gnome hybrid as she ran. Bloobbloum ran to stand next to his Saint, while casting Shield of Faith on Lord Vuglomax, while the Hexxer backed away from Syllen's animals. The save for Faerie Fire was DC 13, and Es Sarch takes a step back and takes the Dodge action.
You all are up, Coriana is Paralyzed until she saves, while Rethos is down and making death saves. The rest of you are in melee with at least one enemy.
Syllen tries to channel his understanding of the future to save Coriana. Reaction +3 to save so it does not help.

Bloobbloum, Lord Vuglomax and Goblin Hexxer need to make a DC 15 Dex Save or take 14 Slashing Damage.

Khessa's blue eyes widen in shock as she sees Coriana mercilessly attack Rethos with one of her most devastating spells! "Coriana!" a mix of an anguished cry and a furious growl erupts from her lips. "What the heck you were thinikng!? My brother is just a boy!"
The rest of the scene momentarily loses relevance as the boy collapses to the ground. The blonde arcane warrior immediately rushes to check on her brother. Yes, he's alive. An indescribable relief calms her storm of emotions, but more must be done—he must be kept alive. The battle can wait. She takes the Blue Knight in her arms and carries him aside, out of the fray, heedless of any blows that may reach her as she carries him to safety. She can take a beating. She will heal. And she wants him to live and heal too.
The tall adventuress then gently sets him on the ground and, taking her Healer's Kit from her backpack, proceeds to heal his lightning burns. When he no longer appears to be in mortal danger, she kisses him gently on the forehead, as she would have done long ago when wishing him goodnight, and murmurs: "Rest easy. Khessa will take you out of trouble as usual. Ill be back in no time".
[[ OOC: Khessa prioritizes using her Movement to bring Rethos to a relatively safe place, out of any AoEs, her free object interaction to fetch the Healer's Kit and her Action to Use the Healer's Kit stabilizes him. If her Movement provokes Attacks of Opportunity, she will take them. If she needs more movement, she casts Expeditious Retreat as a Bonus Action (just tell me if she needs to cast it, so I use the slot). Theldrin isn't sure what Vuglomax is doing to Avery but it certainly doesn't look good. He also can't stand the illumination from the Faerie Fire making him a target so he immediately moves away from the Quaggoth, relying on Shield to hopefully protect him from its claws.
He steps up near Es Sarch, calling out "We have to stop Vuglomax!" as he tries to coordinate with Xanrym (readies his spell to cast after Xanrym's move). He then takes a deep breath and unleashes an arc of lightning at Lord Vuglomax, guiding the electrical surge around Avery (Sculpt Spells).
Lightning Bolt Lightning Damage: 36 Dex Save 15 for half
Once Lord Vuglomax reveals himself, Xanrym is slow to act. The Mind Flayer's tentacles and the telepathy remind him horribly of the Aboleth. He manages to avoid the goblin's spell, but the other Spiderhunters are suddenly mixed in among them. Xanrym first thought of just protecting Es Sarch, grabbing him and making their way to the exit, but he should have known that The Company would bravely attack this alien creature!
Hearing Theldrin, Xanrym snaps out of it. He nods to the wizard and finds his voice. He looks across the warehouse to Lord Vuglomax and shouts,"Whether monster from the seas or fiend from the Abyss, you have underestimated our war wizard and sealed your fate!" He then turns to the troglodyte who is bearing down on him and casts a spell at it while drumming an irregular tempo on his drum.
Movement: If his spell drives the Troglodyte away from him, Xanrym moves to the position shown on the map. If the Troglodyte does not move away from him, Xanrym works his way around to the other side of it to the position marked X-alt on the map. He's just trying to ensure that he's out-of-sight of both the Mind Flayer and Bloobbloum in case they survive long enough to invoke whatever alien magic they posses. Bonus Action: Use Unsettling Words against the Mind Flayer. The Mind Flayer must subtract 7 from the next saving throw it makes before the start of Xanrym's next turn. That should be Theldrin's Lightning Bolt, so the Mind Flayer's saving throw effectively becomes a DC 22 DEX save. Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Dissonant Whispers at the Troglodyte Champion The Troglodyte must make a DC 17 WIS save take 13 psychic damage and immediately uses its reaction, if available, to safely move as far as its speed allows away from Xanrym.
