Khessa smiles at Xanrym's resourcefulness—the treasure they've found will surely be useful to everyone. Focused on the main goal (eliminating Fadheela) and the looming threat (the death trap the party was only temporarily immune to), she was letting them slip: "Well done, my friend!"
The blonde arcane warrior agrees with the bard's analysis and Coriana's tactical advice; her only correction is: "We can cross the Inheritors off our list of enemies. Apparently, they're closely tied to my family. Let's consider them our best allies."
In any case, as soon as the party is ready, the tall adventuress opens the designated door.
"So you went off alone to the faction of mind control that has done nothing but try to kill us and come back so invested in them that you bring it up when we are a bit busy with immediate concerns? Anyone have spells for testing if someone is mind controlled, I'm concerned about Khessa." says Coriana.

Anyone have spells for testing if someone is mind controlled, I'm concerned about Khessa." says Coriana.
(OOC: FYI - I modified the post above to use Coriana's usual teal text color to avoid confusion.)
Xanrym waits to see how Khessa reacts. If it looks like it's about to turn into an argument, Xanrym says, "I'm sure that there's nothing to worry about. We defeated Lord Vuglomax, their telepathic illithid. And as you say, Coriana, we have more immediate concerns." He gestures to the doors around them, any one of which could conceal undead horrors or Fadheela herself.
In any case, as soon as the party is ready, the tall adventuress opens the designated door.
But as Khessa moves to the door to open it, Xanrym moves back to let the fighters forward. As he moves back past Coriana, he nods once and quietly whispers to her:
Xanrym whispers to Coriana, "We'll check. Later." He remembers his own domination by the Aboleth and the naga-charmed people of Orlane. He's sure that if Khessahas been enchanted in a similar manner, she would not tell them. She might not even realize it.
Khessa just shrugs at Coriana's comment, judging it hasty (given the other's absolutely limited knowledge of the situation) and tactless, but not intending to cause divisions now, when the party needs to work together to eliminate Fadheela: "Think what you will; but I hope at least that, when you notice they're no longer trying to kill us, you'll change your mind."
The blonde arcane warrior, realizing the lack of light, quickly enchants a torch, which begins to emanate a warm orange Light and dispels the darkness.
The tall adventuress now enters the room—unless the light reveals enemies or something obviously suspicious...
Cobwebbed shelves/nooks, and pedestals line the walls of the room, boasting dusty relics of a life spent in the study of magic and death. Religious icons from a variety of faiths lie around, not touched or looked at in years.
Khessa enters and, less hastily, now that she is no longer under the threat of a death trap, begins a arcane ritual that should allow her to understand if some of those objects have magical powers.
While Khessa performs her ritual, Xanrym will go ahead and ritual cast Comprehend Languages so that he can read any runes, books, or other writing that The Company finds in the room.
(OOC: Thinking that Theldrin wouldn't spend too much time, moving rather quickly to search the room. He then could take the time to also cast Identify as a ritual and assuming the items Xanrym found in the last room show as magical when Khessa finishes her spell, he could try to identify one of them, whichever folks want)

Theldrin raises an eyebrow as he listens to the others talk, but doesn't say anything for the moment.
Khessa opens the door to a small room clouded in darkness. With Theldrin's light further down the hall, it's hard to see what is in here.
(Sorry I'm suddenly being a stickler for light rules, but now that I can easily keep track of it in Owlbear Rodeo, I'm going to.)

Assuming you're casting it as a ritual, we might see what the others are doing while that happens.
While Khessa casts her spell, Theldrin takes a closer look around the room for anything noteworthy.

Syllen will spend the time listening in on the guards via Nav’s senses.
