Round 2
Khessa nods in approval as Coriana finishes the sentient lightning bolt and is happy to stay by her side and now turn her attention to the oversized hand. The green smoke in the room, thickening and creeping up to her ankles, worries her a little; hopefully, the party will be able to finish the fight before that substance begins to produce unpleasant effects!
The blonde arcane warrior swings her magical blade in a low circle, striking her opponent from below upward.
Small-Khessa's Greatsword Attack (this time taking the -1d4 damage into account in the formula): 22 Damage: 10 (magical slashing) or 3 if missed, thanks to Graze property. Bardic Inspiration, if needed: 2
Ok so Ascepelous should have made a DEX Save, if she fails she is Grappled and takes 15 Bludgeoning damage.
Coriana destroys the Lightning Bolt, then starts on the Hand, while Syllen supports with healing after that lightning bolt.
A moment later, the green fog finally stops creeping into the room and forms into a large green Cloudkill next to Coriana. The cloud forms a claw and makes two magical swipes at her:
Magical Strike against Coriana Attack: 9 Damage: 14 Poison
Magical Strike against Coriana Attack: 11 Damage: 17 Poison
Khessa and Avery are up. A Living Cloudkill has also joined the battle.
With an 18 on the die roll, the Blade crits, which triples it’s damage.
Khessa takes 68 Force Damage.
Theldrin and Xanrym are up. The Blade of Disaster hacks into Khessa, while the hand grips Ascepolous tight. Meanwhile, the Cloudkill seems to be gearing up for something.

Khessa takes 68 Force Damage.
...
[[ OOC: A good hit! If it weren't for the Arcane Ward and Temporary HP, Khessa would have collapsed. ]]
Khessa is struck with deadly precision by the magical blade, and if it weren't for her Arcane Ward and Syllen's blessing, she would likely fall to the ground, covering her blood.
The blonde arcane warrior grits her teeth and resists... but it's clear she's now bleeding and in dire straits.
Theldrin will again attempt to coordinate with Xanrym (readies spell to cast after Xanrym moves). He drops another Fireball into the room where the blast will hit all the living spells, protecting the Company members with Sculpt Spells.
Fire Damage: 25 Dex Save 15 for half
Noticing the Cloudkill seems to be preparing some sort of attack, he then steps back 10 feet or so into the passageway if possible.
From his spot 10-ft down the stairs, Xanrym sees a bright flash, which is followed almost immediately by a crackling boom. He can feel his hair stand on end, and when he races back up the stairs, the air now smells of ozone. Xanrym holds up his lantern again to see how his allies fare against the living spells. While the Lightning Bolt and Hand are no longer there, Khessa looks like she's in a lot of pain with the dark blade still floating menacingly above her. Worse! A large, poisonous-looking green Cloud seems to have joined the fight!
Xanrym drops his concentration on Bane since its targets seem to have been defeated. He agrees with Theldrin's suggestion and gives him the signal once he uses his Unsettling Words on the green cloud, calculating that it's the bigger threat of the two remaining opponents. He moves to the entrance of the room and says, "Clouds are ephemeral things. The Company will soon burn you away, just as the sun burns off the mists in the morning. Now, Theldrin!"
Then Xanrym casts his own spell, hoping to give Avery, Coriana, and Khessaanother opportunity to attack the green Cloud before it gets a chance to unleash whatever foul power it possesses. He plays an irregular rhythm on his drum and casts a spell at the cloud. After he casts his spell, he tries to crouch down, using the stone pews as cover from the living spells.
Movement: 10-ft back up the stairs and then 10-ft to pass Theldrin and enter the room. Finally crouching down, using the stone pew as cover. Bonus Action: Use Unsettling Words against the Living Cloudkill. The creature must subtract 4 from the next saving throw it makes (which will be Theldrin's Fireball) Free Action: Signaling Theldrin to cast his spell. Action: Cast spell (LVL 1 slot) Dissonant Whispers on the Living Cloudkill (unless Theldrin destroyed it, in which case, target the Living Blade of Disaster) It must pass a DC 17 WIS save or take 12 psychic damage and immediately use its reaction to safely move as far as its speed allows away from Xanrym. On a successful save: 6 psychic damage and no forced movement.
Great point, yes she does! If she beats an AC of 15 and does more than 12 Damage, then the lightning bolt in fact died before the spell went off!

It’s not actually round 2 quite yet, but thank you for being proactive. I’ll let you redo that turn after if you want
Khessa's Turn is fine as declared... no point in starting to damage the new Cloudkill; better to try to finish off the hand.
Avery attacksAttack: 15 Damage: 15; Attack: 27 Damage: 15
I did roll the save for Asclepius, they failed.

Khessa and Avery lay into the Cloudkill and the Hand, which is now looking quite tattered but still holding onto Ascepolous.
The Blade of Disaster takes another critically enhanced swipe at Khessa:
Force Blade against Khessa: 26
With an 18 on the die roll, the Blade crits, which triples it’s damage.
Khessa takes 68 Force Damage.
Theldrin and Xanrym are up. The Blade of Disaster hacks into Khessa, while the hand grips Ascepolous tight. Meanwhile, the Cloudkill seems to be gearing up for something.

Khessa’s last hit took out the hand, so I’m fact Coriana and Syllen can go too.

Turn 2:
Syllen rushes over to Khessa after seeing her get hit. Putting his hand on Khessa he will cast Cure Wounds.
Action: Cast Cure Wounds lvl 2: heal Khessa for 33 HP. ( 21 Cure Wounds and 12 Starry Form)
BS: If Cloud Kill does not move, Syllen will use elven ability to cast Misty Step to get to the top right side of the room.
