[[ OOC: ty Syllen! So half damage and not Frightened. Great! ]]
Khessa feels Syllen's sudden influence helping her cast aside the fears that only cripple her—and the encouragement of Xanrym, whose words seem to resonate within her very soul.
Determined not to fail her adventuring companions, the blonde arcane warrior once again wields her magical greatsword, this time relying solely on enchanted steel.
The tall adventuress has a general idea of where the elusive enemy is hiding and attempts to slice through air and shadow in that direction...
Khessa does use the Bardic Inspiration to hit the Mirror Shade, and you see it's form come out of the mirror again, no longer hidden. Xanrym succesfully blast back the first spider and retreats to the corner of the room.
The two Glass Spiders scutter toward Syllen and Avery and make attacks against them:
Bite against Syllen Attack: 18 Damage: 9 Piercing and Unable to parse dice roll. Poison. If dropped to 0hp he becomes Stable, Poisoned, and Paralyzed.
Bite against Syllen Attack: 15 Damage: 9 Piercing and 6 Poison. If dropped to 0hp he becomes Stable, Poisoned, and Paralyzed.
Bite against Avery Attack: 7 Damage: 13 Piercing and 6 Poison. If dropped to 0hp he becomes Stable, Poisoned, and Paralyzed.
Bite against Avery Attack: 24 Damage: 4 Piercing and 7 Poison. If dropped to 0hp he becomes Stable, Poisoned, and Paralyzed.
Avery, Coriana, Syllen, and Theldrin are up. Syllen and Avery are in melee with the spiders, while Coriana and Khessa re fighting the Shade.
[[ OOC: @DM: Is it possible to assess Mirror Shade's condition? If Mirror Shade isn't dead yet but seems on the verge of collapse, Khessa could use Action Surge and try to finish it off...]]
If Mirror Shade isn't dead yet but seems on the verge of collapse:
Khessa realizes that the undead is nearly defeated and decides to finish him off before he can do any more damage. With an exceptional effort of concentration, she utters a rapid incantation and removes her right hand from the hilt of the Greatsword, pointing her fingers at the threat.
The mirror shade tries using the mirror to conceal itself from Coriana by playing with reflections, but she sees an opening by looking at its reflection as a fluke. [[Scimitar 1 (Luck point cancels disadv.): AC 13; 9 Necrotic.]] She continues whirling her blades after the nimble spirit. [[Scimitar 2 (Disadv): AC 10; 10 necrotic. Scimitar Off(Disadv): AC 24; 11 necrotic.]]
She pauses for a second to catch her breath and command Asclepius to continue. [[Second Wind: 2 hp Asclepius Bite: Attack: 10 Damage: 15 piercing. Asclepius Constrict: DC 14 Str Save or 14 bludgeoning and grappled. ]]

Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards. DM - The Old Keep
OK so in fact the Mirror Shade was not Hidden any more, looking at the rolls it doesn't matter as the first roll for both of the misses were the lower. Coriana's two attacks kill the Mirror Shade, it yells in a shrill voice, "You must be with her! The one that ran through here some time ago! You will both feel the wrath of our great master Maroe!" As she dissipates, her mirror returning to it's black glassy state. Asclepius's Bite misses Glass Spider 2, but is then able to Constrict it.
Avery, Theldrin, and Syllen still up. The Mirror Shade is down, but the Glass Spiders still pose a threat.
"Thank you..." Theldrin smiles at Syllen. He feels a wave of gratitude for the Elven druid's companionship, then for the whole Company... "No time for getting sentimental," he thinks to himself as he sets his jaw with determination and looks to get back in the fight.
Disappointed that the spiders have now spread out in their positions, he decides to still follow his plan for one of them (moves up next to Syllen and casts Thunderwave in the blue square AoE protecting Syllen with Sculpt Spells)
Thunder Damage: 7 CON Save 15 for half (and not pushed 10 feet)
(OOC: Looks like we cross posted... well guess can say Theldrin still attacks spider 2 but it won't get pushed due to grapple? And would protect Asclepius with Sculpt Spells as well)
Theldrin's spell blasts the Glass Spider into a thousand glass shards. That quickly form back together and fly back toward the wall, reforming the mirror.
Avery and Syllen are up, there's one Glass Spider left.
Avery and Syllen are up, there's one Glass Spider left.
(OOC: @drumdigby - Now that Coriana killed the Mirror Shade, I guess that Khessa and Xanrym are also up, right? Update: I'll assume that that's correct and post for Xanrym in case the Glass Spider still isn't dead.)
(OOC: Assuming that Avery didn't already finish off the last Glass Spider.)
Seeing Coriana finish off the Mirror Shade and Theldrin blast one of the Glass Spiders, Xanrym cheers. He says, "Let's shatter the last of these glass grotesqueries!" He dismisses the bonfire. Since his magic hasn't been particularly effective in this fight, he raises his crossbow and fires a bolt at the Glass Spider, using magic to guide his attack.
Movement: None. Action: Cast a spell True Strike with Attack, Crossbow, Light (80/320): 20, Damage: 3 (piercing) + 6 (radiant) = 9 (total) Free Action: Equip and load his crossbow
(OOC: Oops! I made multiple mistakes with that roll macro. Using the same roll values, it should have been Damage: 8(piercing) + 2(radiant) = 10 (total).)

I'd say that as it says it applies to Bard spells, then it wouldn't work with Spell Scrolls
