Alright so what’s the go here? You kicking down the door and rolling initiative?
(OOC: @drumdigby - It sounds like we can probably enter the room and roll initiative now. I think that Theldrin and Syllen are still working out what their initial actions will be if we don't see Fadheela on our first round, and Xanrym's action will partially depend on what Theldrin decides. But we can probably finalize that OOC while you get combat started. Hopefully, we surprise our opponents: Disadvantage for them and Advantage for us (from Syllen's dagger) on initiative rolls would make it very likely that we can act before the opponents get a chance to do anything.)
The door is kicked down my the front liners, and the Grimlocks look completely surprised. The Booodhulk doesn’t even move as you burst into the room. Khessa, however, takes a moment to get around the statues currently in her way. Initiative:
Group 1: Avery, Theldrin, Xanrym, Coriana, and Syllen
Group 2: Fhadeela’s guard
Group 3: Khessa
Group 1 is up and you have surprise against the baddies.
[[ OOC: As we discussed, before entering Khessa cast Mirror Image on herself (and Avery received Protection from Evil and Good, if I recall correctly). I specify this, since the monsters will (not surprisingly) act before our intrepid blonde arcane warrior. ]]
Coriana moves up behind Avery and fires two eldritch blasts at the bloodhulk, hoping to knock it into the electricity. [[Eldritch Blast: AC 19, 2 force; AC 15, 7 force. on hit, enemy is pushed 10ft. straight back.]]
She then moves to the bottom corner to allow the spellcasters access and suummons her tentacle to harass the grimlocks. [[Tentacle: AC 21, 10 cold. Grimlock 4]]

Xanrym is tempted to try Enemies Abound to turn the hulk against Fadheela and the Grimlocks, but he worries that the hulking creature is some sort of magical monstrosity or necromantic experiment and therefore immune to fear. Since Fadheela isn't visible, he decides to go with his most reliable spell that's been working well to ensure that Theldrin's and Syllen'sspells have their maximum effect during their fights against groups of opponents in Pedestal.
After Avery flings open the door and takes up his position with one of the mirrors, Xanrym moves just far enough into the room to see the Grimlocks. He casts Bane, cursing the hulk and all of the Grimlocks. As he withdraws, he inspires Avery: "Courage, brave knight! Hold the line while we draw out Fadheela."
As he pulls back into the antechamber (S32), Xanrym looks to the others, nods, and says, "Your turn! No sign of Fadheela yet." Then Xanrym equips his crossbow, getting ready to target Fadheela.
Movement: 30-ft of movement to move into the room and then back out of the room once he casts his spell, leaving room for the other spellcasters to see into the space and cast their spells. Action: Cast spell (upcast with LVL 3 slot) Bane on the hulk and all 4 Grimlocks Each target must make a DC 17 CHA saving throw or be affected by the spell. While the spell lasts, whenever an affected creature attacks or make a saving throw, they must subtract 1d4 from the roll. Bonus Action: Grant bardic inspiration to Avery. Free Action: Talking, equip crossbow
Bardic Inspiration: Avery Khessa(since post #6333) Coriana(since post #6333)
Once within the next 1 hour, when the you fail a D20 Test, you can use the bardic inspiration to roll 1d8 and add the number rolled to the d20, possibly turning failure into a success. If you use the bardic inspiration, but the D20 Test still fails, you keep the inspiration die because of Xanrym's Unfailing Inspiration.
Avery will hold and wait for them to come forward, keeping their melee wall
(OOC: @Aaggie - I wasn't sure whether you had access to the map, so I moved Avery into the room, taking position near the door as specified by @Painted_Beyond. You should probably roll for a readied attack because I'm sure that something will move within your reach on the opponents' turn. Also, don't forget to update Avery's character sheet:

This post has potentially manipulated dice roll results.
Theldrin steps up into the edge of the room and quickly drops a Fireball near the northwest corner, trying to catch all the Grimlocks as well as the Hulk in its radius (protecting Avery with Sculpt Spells if necessary). He then moves back out of the room so Syllen and Khessa can easily maneuver.

Coriana's opening volley knocks the Bloodhulk back into the electricity behind it, however the Lightning damage seems to be completely ineffective against the creature. Xanrym's magic is too powerful for most of the Grimlocks and the Bloodhullk, although the large creature seemed to have an advantage against the spell. Theldrin and Syllen's spells do much the same, tearing through the enemy combatants. Avery then springs forward and with two sword swipes fells Grimlock 4 and severely injures Grimlock 3.
Then the enemies go, the Bloodhulk has to try and make a DEX check to get at Coriana as it rushes forward with massive fists, while the Grimlocks surround Avery and attack. Grimlocks two and three attack at advantage due to their Bloodied frenzy.
Bloodhulk DEX Check: 9
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 10 Damage: 11 Slashing
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 7 Damage: 7 Slashing
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 24 Damage: 15 Slashing
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 22 Damage: 10 Slashing
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 11 Damage: 7 Slashing
Greataxe against Avery Attack: 22 Damage: 13 Slashing
The Bloodhulk is unable to get at Coriana, so takes the Dodge action instead, waiting for her to come out from behind the statue. At that moment, high and harsh, a screech sounds from the curtained alcove. From behind the curtain slides a creature whose lower half fuses into the coiling tail of a giant snake. The creature's upper body is scaled like the lower, but humanoid in shape and obviously female. Its head is crowned with a mass of writhing, hissing makes instead of hair. Fadheela speaks, "The Company of the Grey Chain! I thought you were dealt with!? Damn that Fluid, have they betrayed me now when I'm so close to getting out of this backwater?" She runs straight at Coriana and makes two Claws and a Snake Hair attack against her:
Claw against Coriana Attack: 15 Damage: 14 Slashing
Claw against Coriana Attack: 25 Damage: 10 Slashing
Snake Hair against Coriana Attack: 17 Damage: Unable to parse dice roll. Piercing and Unable to parse dice roll. Poison
Since Avery moved out of position to attack the Grimlocks, and Coriana did not take a mirror, Xanrym may decide to use the extra mirror in round 2. I assume that we moved the it into S32, but it's currently unused, leaning against one of the Mezzoloths statues flanking the door to S35. He'd just have to drop the crossbow and equip the mirror.)
(OOC: As long as it didn't interfere with actions posted so far, Theldrin would have kept his mirror with him. Also wondering... aren't Grimlocks Aberrations and so would have Disadvantage, or Disadvantage/Advantage cancelling out, when attacking Avery?)

Now I have a question before handing it back to you all: Who has a mirror in their hand?
Khessa has one. I think also Avery (who was meant to form the mirror walll with Khessa) and... Theldrin, if I well remember.
Avery has a mirror
If I'm being honest, Coriana does NOT have a mirror.
Coriana - Company of the Grey Chain
Wagner - Dragon Heist: Bards.

(OOC: Hm. Xanrym brought one of the mirrors down the rickety stairs, but he thought that Avery was going to wait with a readied attack just inside the doors to make a sort of phalanx of mirrors with Khessa. He was planning to cast spells / use his crossbow from behind their the mirrors. I already narrated Xanrym's equipping his crossbow in round 1, so I guess he does not have it in hand right now.
Since Avery moved out of position to attack the Grimlocks, and Coriana did not take a mirror, Xanrym may decide to use the extra mirror in round 2.
