The reptile closest to the man takes an exploding ice knife to the face, then a giant chop across the arm from Avery's Sword. Both it and it's friend attempt to jump out of the way of the shards of exploding ice:

While the first one manages to escape the blast, it's friend behind catches a number of crystals to the face, they are both looking worse for wear, but still up. They move to attack Avery and Liarin with both their claws:
Reptile 1 on Liarin - To Hit 1: 23 Slashing Damage: 4; To Hit 2: 16 Slashing Damage: 6
Reptile 2 on Avery - To Hit 1: 19 Slashing Damage: 6 ; To Hit 2: 12 Slashing Damage: 6
The other two reptiles come forth and you get a good look at them all. With the ugly brutes coming closer, Lldryk would now notice them as Troglodytes, putrid reptile monsters who love the taste of human flesh.
Avery and Liarin cop the Troglodyte stench right to their faces. Both make CON Save 12 or become Poisoned.
The other two Trogs leave their meal and move up behind their allies, looking for the taste of human flesh.
Xanrym isn't sure what these creatures are, but it's clear that they must be stopped. He raises his crossbow and fires a bolt at the one directly south of the man.
If the other young adventuring party is still standing around in fear outside the Inn, Xanrym says, "You there! Look sharp! Get this man inside the Inn and out of danger!"Persuasion20
Movement: Move 15' to stand directly south of the injured man (just to the NE of Liarin) Action: Attack the Trog (the one farthest to the east), Crossbow, Light (80/320): 18, Damage: 11 Free Action: Drawing a bolt, Talking
The other adventurers snap out of their stupor and grab the man and drag him inside. Your crossbow bolt hits the Trog directly in the stomach, dropping it to one knee. It get up and snarls at you in anger.
Edit: Sorry had to retcon something as i got the Trog's AC and HP mixed up

Theldrin takes a step to his right in order to get a good view of the Trog attacking Avrey. Weaving his hands in a complex pattern he mutters under his breath as flames appears on his fingertips, then hurls a bolt of fire at the Trog.
One Troglodyte does with a scream as Avery’s sword chops off its arm. The final Trog sees all its friends burnt and in pieces around it. It turns around and runs into the woods behind. As it does it seems to almost immediately disappear; it’s skin turning the same colours as the shrubbery around it.
Combat is over, unless someone wants to try to hunt the Troglodyte through the forrest.
Assuming you all go back inside, you see a frantic scene. Alyce the serving girl is tending to the fallen man at a table. Strapping wood to his leg. Most everyone else is running around unhelpfully. Tatum the bartender is yelling orders to people, they mostly aren’t listening.
Theldrin briefly considers giving chase but thinks better of it, then heads back inside. Unsure what to do as healing is not really one of his strong points, he stands by awkwardly wondering how he might help.

As soon as the last troglodyte flees, Xanrym says, "Good show! I'd say we make a good team. I'm going to check on the injured rider, but perhaps someone should see whether his horse can still be saved. Just be careful: there may be more of these scaly creatures lurking out there in the darkness."
Opening the door to the inn, Xanrym sees the frantic scene. He casts minor illusion to create the sound of brief fanfare as he enters the room (possibly with one of more of his companions). The sound is loud, like someone playing an unmuted trumpet inside the room. He starts speaking in a carrying voice into the startled silence at the end of the fanfare, "Please, good people, be calm! You're in no immediate danger here. The monsters have been killed or chased off! I suggest a drink to calm your nerves!" Persuasion19 (in game log)
As he says that last sentence, Xanrym walks over to Alyce and the man. He smiles at the serving girl and, leaning close, says in a quieter voice, "Thank you for your help, Miss. I'm something of a healer, and I can take it from here. Please bring me some hot water, a clean towel or cloth that I can get bloody, and a couple of glasses of wine." He hands her 1 sp. "And maybe have one yourself. After that, I'm sure that the landlord could use your help getting the other patrons their drinks."

Xanrym asks whether Theldrin could bring him a light so that he can see the man's wounds clearly.

Lldryk lets fly an arrow. Sticking into straight into the first Trog slashing at Liarin, it goes down with a yelp.

I go into the Inn to see if the fallen man needs assistance.
